This has been on our bucket list for a while. My wife and I walked it and got to meet Denis Phillips, ABC's local affiliate's chief meteorologist. He's super friendly and is courteous enough to do many photo ops! We had a wonderful hot chocolate and popcorn there, with proceeds going to the Children's Miracle Network and Feeding Tampa Bay. Will definitely do again!

I recommend coming with your whole family to see these beautiful decorations! There was a long line of cars lined up so I ended up parking alongside many other cars and we walked around the area! There is a radio you can also tune into, and one house was selling hot chocolate, and had Santa and Mrs claus sitting outside ready for pictures!

Have gone every year for the last decade. Absolutely wonderful. Really puts you in the holiday spirit. This year we were able to meet Dennis Philips which was fun! Typically goes until about 10pm.

    Just one of many!

The only reason this gets 4 stars is for the traffic. The light displays are amazing, and if you live here, thanks for putting up with the traffic. It's slow going, to see all the lights, and it's easy to get into the holiday spirit seeing them. They are wonderful. Thank you, Indian Trails.

This entire neighborhood goes all out and well over the top with Christmas lights. I can't represent it well in photos so I encourage you to drive in, slowly, and enjoy the scenes. Merry Christmas! Life is good with fun decorations.

A must do for the Christmas Season! If you can find parking and walk the neighborhood it's all the better.

Palm Harbor is probably one of the largest "towns" in Florida, measuring in at nearly 30 square…read moremiles, and sits in the northern portion of unincorporated Pinellas County. Until recently, I actually thought it was a proper municipality, due to its size. Stretching west to east from ALT 19 on the Gulf coast to Lake Tarpon and the Oldsmar city limits on the east. Then, spanning from Dunedin's northern border to Tarpon Springs; that's a lot of land! Historically, the town has been called by many names: Bay St. Joseph, Yellow Bluff, Sutherland and then finally Palm Harbor. Back then, Palm Harbor and all of Pinellas was still part of Hillsborough County and quite sleepy outside of small fishing and citrus industries. Today, over 57,000 people call this town home, and the city boasts a moderate nightlife, most of which is confined to the historic downtown area along Florida Ave. between County Road 1 and ALT 19. Small indie shops, bars and delicious restaurants line the sleepy downtown streets and can get a little rowdy at times during the weekends, but usually quiet down by midnight. The most exciting thing going on in Palm Harbor is the brewery scene. To the east, Laugerhaus sits a stone's throw from Oldsmar's western city limits, and boasts some of the best German and Austrian grub in the entire area. The owner, of the former Hops Restaurant fame, brews up traditional German beers, as well as American flavors. To the West, closer to downtown, is Stilt House Brewery, Palm Harbor Brewery and the brand new de Bine Brewery--all of which are outstanding. There is not much in the way of beaches in Palm Harbor though, which is unfortunate due to the town's position on the Gulf coast. However, within Palm Harbor's town limits is Crystal Beach (a sleepy town within a sleepy town, if you will), where a small "beachy" area can found. Crystal Beach is interesting because they have a post office, but no home delivery. Residents travel to the P.O. to pick up their mail. Overall, a great place to go eat and have some drinks, but not exactly ideal for living, especially with some of the property tax rates, which climb as high as $4,000 a year in some sections. Most of the town feels like one big-ass suburb to me, outside of the historic downtown area.

This is a unique and creative experience in nature that's small yet mighty. Getting here is going…read moreto be a workout! Here's what you need to know: 1. Wear your most comfortable flip flops and bring a pair of walking sneakers and socks (in case the flops wear you down) 2. Bring a fannypack/tote filled with string and a sharpie. Also pack water and a snack. 3. Go to the bathroom before you hike it'll be a walk! 4. If you park stay on Mandalay Ave and park alongside the street before the roundabout that leads into the residential area. When you get a meter stsnd or by app reserve 2 hours 15 min. Trust me - it's way better to overestimate your walking time. We reserved an hour and a half and underestimated by 15 min. We were power walking at near nighttime on the beach. The parking fee was super cheap! 5. Go down the street and walk to the beach facing the water and head immediately right following the shore. You'll follow the shore for 2.5 miles. Yes, that far!! Once you've gone to the way way way far side you'll hit an L shape of trees that form a Grove collection of shell decorated art trees! 6. Grab a shell with a hole, decorate the shell with a message from your sharpie. Hang it on a string or let the branch hang it for you! Enjoy the views! It's quite secluded but a nice getaway. Go an hour and a half before sunset. It's a 5 mile trek round-trip. When we went it was right at near sunset and getting dark. We cut through the Regatta beach club and walked the sidewalk down to our parking spot. The artsy shells on the tree are a treat to see and some are blank. No matter what just admire the one of a kind trees created by others in nature.
