One of the Best meals of my life,2nd only to Burns steakhouse. Outstanding service and hospitality from Stefano. Heavenly food with extremely quick delivery. Amazing vibe, mood, and lighting. Could not recommended more!

Dessert: lemon sorbet

Ambiance was charming, felt like a Brooklyn neighborhood Italian restaurant, especially decked for Christmas. We LOVED the corvina livornese. Great prep and flavor. We moderately liked the chicken Marsala. Felt it was lacking consistency with a sauce which had the viscosity of water. Alfredo was excellent. Lemon sorbet was terrific. Lauren was attentive and kind.

Casa Ludovico is a local favorite that is worth obsessing over. Hands down, this is the best dining experience we've had in the area--and I haven't stopped thinking about it since. Casa Ludovico is inside a beautifully restored 1902 home that somehow feels both elevated and cozy, like someone invited you to dinner inside their beautiful villa. We went for our anniversary, and the staff nailed it--warm, attentive, and clearly so proud of what they do. I ordered the Spaghetti Al Nero (black spaghetti with jumbo crab and baby clams in a garlicky, spicy olive oil) and it was... unreal. I don't like spicy food, but the heat was subtle and balanced--just enough to make each bite unforgettable. My husband had the Pollo Marsala, and we were basically fighting over the sauce. Rich, velvety, total comfort food. And then came the star of the show... the tiramisu. Homemade, light, creamy, not too sweet. Just perfect- we both agreed it's the best tiramisu we've ever had. This is officially our new special occasion go-to, but honestly... we're already plotting excuses to go back sooner.

Had an amazing dinner to celebrate our 4 year anniversary Wednesday night at Casa Ludovico! This is the cutest little place, looks like a converted historic home. Excellent fine dining! The Carpaccio was delicious & the Grilled Octopus was the BEST I've had at a restaurant. A little disappointed the bread was cold and a bit dry instead of warm and fresh. Apps were followed by Squid Ink Seafood Pasta and an awwwmazing Veal Shank in a creamy Shroom sauce! The Squid Ink Seafood pasta was very bland at first. We let our server know and she graciously sent it back for them to jazz it up with, garlic, crushed red pepper, etc. It was much better than. Tiramisu for dessert was a perfect ending to a fabulous dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant

Ambiance at Casa Ludovico is great! It's got a rustic vibe and very classic. Service was subpar. We felt completely rushed by our waiter, he was pretty rude from the second we sat down and almost felt like we were being watched like a hawk with no time to browse the menu. Just felt like he was trying to get us out there as fast as possible. My husband and I are vegetarians and the options were not great. Pasta didn't taste fresh, food was cold. The caprese salad honestly seemed like something I could've just made at home myself with some ingredients at the grocery store.

Overrated & Overpriced! Owners need to clean or completely remodel. Bathroom smelled like piss it was disgusting Not good, thumbs down!

What a wonderful place for our anniversary celebration. Thank you Eric! We had delicious food, wonderful wine, attentive service without being overbearing. Their cannoli and Lemoncello cake is pu the of this world. Eric loves the cannoli but illl go for the lusciously light, not overly sweet lemony cake it's the best in Tampa Bay in my opinion.

Is there wheelchair seating?

There is a ramp up the the front door, but I would call ahead and reserve a table on the ground floor.

Hello! I can't seem to find a menu with prices. anyone know what a midrange dinner might cost for 2? or range of entrees and appetizers? trying to find an appropriate amount for a gift card. thanks.

$75-$90 would be a reasonable amount for a gift card.

Heyyyyyyy you guys!!! What an amazing place. Great staff, friendly, hospitable, we did a free wine…read moretasting and purchased a few bottles to go. By far my favorite spot on the block. Will definitely be back.

It was already a very hot day in Tarpon, at the Sponge Docks... then the rain came pouring down…read more Good thing I had already tucked in here to check out a) the menu, b) the fun merch, c) the bottles for saleand d) the ac. I went from happily browsing (and finding fun gift items for friends)... to delightedly sipping at the bar. That's where I learned you can do free tastings. Oh yes, that's got "Jen on a Saturday" written all over it. I told the super friendly and fun owner what I like (Pinot Grigio) and she found three amazing chilled whites for me to try. Two were really good... one was full out fabulous. I ordered a glass.. the owner served up a great pour-and I sat there happily chatting with the folks around me-who were more into the social scene than their screens. It was such a fun place to perch. They have a nice selection of craft beers-some local. And I know they had big pretzels, for those weren't full of saganaki and salad like I was (that would be a fun band name-Saganaki and salad). There are board games to play at the scattered tables and really good live music. (it was mid-afternoon when I was there.) I wish I could have stayed longer, but I had another engagement to get to--and a short window between rains to get to my car-at the other end of Dodecanese--so I had to dash. It would be the perfect place to hang with friends. I'll rally the troops. This fun spot is located on the far end of the main drag... past the fudge shop-adjacent to the tea and flag shops-across from the mini light house and parking. The prices are very reasonable-selection is large and interesting-and the staff is very welcoming. I took home a bottle of my new favorite wine... and can't wait to come back ti taste and buy more. Cheers!
