This place is packed with personality from every angle. Bowling balls are everywhere stacked, lined, and worked into the yard in ways that make you stop and stare. It feels like someone took a simple idea and just ran completely wild with it in the best way possible. Then you start noticing all the unexpected details: random statues scattered throughout the property, SpongeBob characters popping up in places you wouldn't expect, and CDs hanging from strings that catch the light and move with the breeze. It's like stepping into a fully DIY art installation where anything goes and more is more. What makes it so great is that nothing about it feels normal or restrained. It's loud, weird, colorful, and totally unique. Every time you look around, you notice something you didn't see before, which makes it feel like the house keeps changing as you explore it. Overall, the Bowling Ball House is pure creative chaos in the best way possible. It's fun, bizarre, and completely unforgettable a true local landmark that proves art doesn't have to make sense to be amazing.

It was our first time here and they were absolutely slammed... for good reason. The food was fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The sauce tasted homemade, the chicken was perfectly breaded and tender, and the portion size was generous. The garlic knots were incredible -- soft, buttery, and full of garlic. I didn't even get a picture because we dug in immediately. That should tell you everything. Even with how busy they were, the service was still great. Michelle was kind, attentive, and handled the rush with such a positive attitude. It's in a prime location near the hotels and right off 19, so I can see why they stay busy. Taking over the old Green Market spot was a smart move. The atmosphere felt welcoming and clean. 10/10 recommend. My husband and I will absolutely be back. If you're craving real-deal Italian comfort food, this is your spot.

It was very good but I was a little disappointed that it didn't come on an Italian sub bread, as pictured in the online menu. I'll have to ask if that is an available option next time. The owners are from Naples and the quality from what I saw was way higher than I expected for a restaurant situated right next to a hotel, but it is definitely worth giving it a try. I can't wait to try some of the entrees, the calzone, pizza and Stromboli. I will definitely be back! Quick update. I just called them and unfortunately, their sandwiches are only available on foccacia bread.....no Italian sub bread.

The building is aesthetically pleasing inside and out and they had the outside grounds set up for a wedding reception and it was beautiful. We were promptly seated at a tiny two top booth with velvet seat covers. The tables are beautifully set. Our server, Zach, appeared instantly and was just the right amount of attentive throughout our meal. Everything we had was delicious. The olive tapenade and bread, followed by the mussels appetizer made an excellent start. The mussels were in a lovely, light broth. Our entrees came with a side, I had the Minestrone and my partner had a Cesar salad. The Minestrone was hearty with nice flavor. Then I had the Sacottini Ciro which was incredible. My partner had the Ravioli Valentino which is lobster ravioli with shrimp and a half lobster tail in a light vodka sauce. Very delicious and the presentation of these dishes was impeccable. We shared the COPPA MASCARPONE which was also wonderful. The service was excellent, the pace was near perfect (our meals came a little too soon), and everything was delicious. It's a higher end experience and the prices reflect that, but it's in line and delivers. We've had more expressive meals at other restaurants and had a lesser experience. We will definitely be back.

Anyway they let us through haha! Thought we would try it on a special occasion. It is Extremely expensive. We knew it was high end but $8 for a miller lite bottle? Really? We've gone to Ruth's Chris, Boscom's, Ocean Prime etc and they all are around the same $5 a bottle. I just can't understand why it would be $8 plus tip so $20 for two beers! Menu would easily cost you $300+ for dinner and drinks. Gulf to Bay not a high end neighborhood. Sorry I don't think you will make it.

Now I completely understand why...everything looks so good that people forget to take pictures before digging in! I managed to snap a few photos of the appetizers, but when our entrées arrived, I completely forgot until we were halfway through the meal. Overall, the food was excellent. The meatballs were delicious, although they felt a little pricey for the portion size. The lasagna was unlike anything we've ever had before - rich, flavorful, and absolutely worth ordering. It's a must-try. The calamari was good, though it didn't stand out as much as the other dishes. We'll definitely be back, especially for the meatballs and that incredible lasagna!

It was our first time after finding it via Yelp, Thank You, and I can assure you it won't be our last visit as everything was outstanding. My seafood risotto was the best I've had including many in Boston's north end. We can't wait to return to Clearwater soon for our return visit. In the meantime we highly recommend everyone trying Trattoria D'Anna.
