Finally, when it was connected without him, we were told there is a leak in what had been installed. We wanted to give him the opportunity to fix it but no one answers or calls back. Update: no response still. We had two plumbers come out and couldn't believe this is how it was left. There was also no shut off valve installed on the same floor which was out of code. Surprised a licensed plumber would leave anyone in such circumstances, especially with a small child in the home.

He reinstalled the old thermostat and now we've got a tuned up HVAC system that runs better than ever.
