I like the actual Vet very much but I had a big problem with one of the girls who answer the phone there. I had a full exam for my cat June 19. My cat has a UTI now - 2 weeks later- and I called to get an antibiotic for the cat. She insisted I bring the cat in to the office. I was unable and I asked for the Vet to call in an antibiotic for me. She said the vet that saw my cat was not in and the vet who was in would not call in an antibiotic since she didn't see the cat. She said the vet that did see my cat could not be contacted. I have spent between 2 dogs and a cat thousands and thousands of dollars at that vet. But they wouldn't give me medicine for my cat. Dont go there - they don't try and help you with a problem. read more

I wish I could give Indian Walk Vets a negative rating! First and foremost they are 3 times more expensive than most other vets. They not out price gouge, but try to constantly sell you services that your pets don't need. You can walk out with a basic check costing $500 due to all their add ons. The vets themselves are also not friendly to my pets or me. With all the vets in Bucks County there is not reason to go here again. I have changed practices and I only wish I did sooner. I would give a minus rating if I could. We had three animals treated in this facility and with every one I had big questions. First one had an oral tumor which doctor offered to trim. The cost for a surgery not cheap, so I wasn't clear what good this procedure would do. The cancer would grow back twice as fast. Second one, we took in for regular visits and cat was vomiting often. They put him on thyroid medication, didn't adjust the dose. For more than a year cat was on the unneeded medication, which caused him liver problems to the point we almost lost him. They missed IBD diagnosis which cat had all clinical signs off. Then they offered to euthanize him. We took cat elsewhere where he was taken off the thyroid meds and placed on the appropriate treatment. Three months later, cat gained weight and doing so much better without them. Third one, I took a dog for removal of some small bumps all over the body and one was at the tip of the tail. I got the dog back with huge stitches across the body, still not clear why he had big stitches, instead of a few small ones. The tail one instead of taking off the tip of the tail, dr tried to remove the big bump at the end. Then didn't scheduled a recheck for such a difficult place sooner than a week. By the time the came for recheck end of the tail started necrosis. They still continued insisting it looks good, change wrapping put some plastic that damage tip of the tail even more. Dog ended up with the bone infection and had third of his tail removed. And then I asked them to evaluate him for pain and maybe prescribe a stronger pain killer they said, go where you removed it. Awful customer service, awful client treatment. I was sending pictures of the tail regularly and had to follow up multiple times for somebody to take a look at it. Charge 150dollars for bandage change. On top of it I've talked to my neighbors and quite a few had a bad experience with them. They have nice office, but charge higher than other offices and don't care for your animals. Stay away from them. read more

I know I am a bit biased but honestly this is the most competent and compassionate animal hospital I have been at as a veterinary assistant. All of the doctors and nurses have been so great with my pets through the good and the not so good. The receptionists are sweet and do a great job with their knowledge of your pets as well. I highly recommend Indian Walk for your cats, dogs and exotic pets. I've have them all there! read more

My poor angel kitty has been suffering with terrible over grooming habits for almost a year now. I have taken him to multiple vets and all have left me with no good treatment plan and brushed off his issues. I decided to give Indian Walk a try, Dr. Eslin talked to me for 45 minutes and helped me to understand the THREE treatments she wanted to try for Milo and listened to all my concerns without making feel like a crazy cat mom! A week later, my sweet boys hair is finally growing back and all of his cuts & sores have basically disappeared. He is so much happier, and it hurts me to think I put him through so many unnecessary vet appointments when one appointment at Indian Walk solved all his issues. We are bringing all of our pets here from now on, can't say enough good things. read more

I have been looking for a good veterinary center for a while. This place is about an hour drive from my house. No regrets. The place is clean and well maintained. The staff is courteous and patient. And I know, I am not the easiest person to deal with. Dr. Tanya Thies is very professional and attentive. She does not use "scary tactics" to push unnecessary procedures, like every other place I have been to! She takes her time to do the exam and listens to what I have to say. They were great with my dog Bella and took every step possible to ensure that she and I were getting what we came for which was making sure she had all her paperwork for me to take her on a international flight. This place is FANTASTIC. I called them day of to make an appointment for my dog who had an eye infection and they took me right away. The girl on the phone was very friendly and helpful, and when I got to the vet, everyone greeted us very warmly. They were so kind and really loving towards my pup. We were in and out of there quickly too. I just moved here from California, and knowing that I have great people here to care for my dog is one less thing I have to worry about. I am just getting around to my yelp reviews. Sorry if this is old news. I visited the facility based on yelp reviews as I am new to this area and I moved here from another country. I was greeted by a mild-aged woman with a cheery tone and into a welcoming spacious atmosphere. My companion and I were looking into having an annual checkup and scheduled accordingly in a timely fashion. We had to wait quite awhile as it seemed they were overbooked. During my wait, I witnessed people come and go and it was pretty quiet in the waiting room. There were outdated books but mostly I had to keep my dog at bay because some other patients were not watching their pets and letting them come up and sniff. (He is not the friendliest dog and I wish they would ask first) Then I heard the receptionist groan as the phone rang and heard her answer some questions in a condescending tone. I tried not to think anything of it until I heard her hang up and proceed talk to another receptionist (Italian looking woman) about the questions and they clearly were making fun of the client on the phone. I prefer not to say word for word but they were making fun of him or her. It was not professional in any way, shape, or form. I was finally seen by one of the nurses once a room was opened and both the vet nurse and the doctor were extremely pleasant to work with. When I came out I wasn't surprised by the bill or the amount of money to pay but I was greeted with the same condescending tone as was spoken to on the phone to the other patient. It completely put a bad taste in my mouth. I asked for my files for the day, knowing that I wouldn't be coming back based on the front staff and it was almost like it was a chore for them because they were getting busy again. As far as staff in the front I give them 0 stars and would not recommend. As the hospital staff, I give them 2. I wish the scheduling was done better and not overbooked. Over 14 years and several moves, we have experienced a number of vets, but Indian Walk is really superb. Everyone from the receptionists to the doctors are friendly, caring and solicitous if the animals. They offer treatment options and explain the pros and cons of each. My husband and I recently moved to the area and took our 2 cats here for their yearly check up without knowing much about the practice. We were very pleased with the visit, the staff at the front desk were pleasant, the technician who did the preliminary history (I believe her name was Caroline) was friendly and efficient and Dr. Tanya Thies was awesome. Dr. Thies was very gentle with our two nervous cats and helped to put them at ease. She was informative and gave us some great tips for how to better care for our cats. Indian Walk has been wonderful to our beloved dog. Their online pharmacy service is extremely convenient, and we have been treated with love and care at every visit. We recently had to put our dog on arthritis medication. Although I was very resistant to medicating him, the staff patiently explained the risks and benefits, and long term treatment options. In an ideal world every vet would be as wonderful as Indian Walk. When I became frustrated with my previous vet I asked for recommendations and my friend who has every pet you can think of told me about Indian Walk. They picked up the phone on the first ring and the receptionist was so cheery I instantly felt welcomed. They even take pictures of your pet and put them on a board welcoming you to the practice. The doctors are knowledgeable and I was always able to come in right away. I credit them to saving my cat's life because I know I wouldn't have gotten in right away with the previous vet who ignored his symptoms when I knew something was wrong. Everyone in Newtown, New Hope and Washington Crossing should go to Indian Walk. Their prices are fair and their service is the best. Our cat Salem has been so cuddly since we first brought him. They saw he had not one or two, but three infected teeth and pulled them out. I have no idea how long they were hurting him but he's been giving us nonstop headbutts ever since, even on the day of the surgery! So many cuddles.
