Screw now broken arm bent all to hell. 2- Incorrectly (severely twisted) installed toilet water feed hose with permanent style clamps. So low water flow, toilet constantly plugs up. 3-Hot Water Tank Electric Side failure. Now only works on LP.

A year later June 2026 and we still don't have a working tankless hot water heater. Wanna RV does not stand behind what they sell in the first year of warranty and I would not recommend them. Their service manager was abrasive and most concerned about how much money Wana was out "were out $200 and can't keep throwing parts at it " A 40 ft RV is not like a car where you can take it into a service center. Lippert knows they have many issues with the GSWH-2 tankless but are simply trying to cover them up.

My wife and I loved the area and plan to pass through again one day. The service desk has been consistently respectful & helpful but although the sales staff was nice they were also condescending at times. I understand that the manufacturer is responsible for the build quality and components used but I did ask for the camper to be inspected for issues weeks before arriving and I was told that was part of their process. The camper had a few defects... hot water heater needs to be replaced bc it's leaking, slide topper needs to be replaced bc it's sagging and holding water and the biggest issue is that the slides leaked all the way home. When we arrived at home, the kitchen floor had a puddle of water on it because all the slides have a hole exposed in the bottom corners. I specifically asked for a service tech to inspect the slides before we arrived and they were obviously not inspected. We decided to upgrade the batteries because we were told they were AGM, only to find out they were flooded when we got home. When I discovered that they were flooded I called to ask what's going on and found out that they don't sell AGM batteries at all. To their credit they did issue a full refund but this revealed a lack of knowledge by the staff. We did receive a very thorough overview of the camper but we can't remember his name. We learned a ton of things about our new camper and even things about our existing camper we didn't know. We were very grateful for the walkthrough. They also did a great job sealing the roof. I just wish they put the same effort in making sure the slides didn't leak. Due to these defects we were only able to use the camper for 1 trip since the purchase because it's been sitting at a dealer in Raleigh waiting for the parts since mid September. We have decided to never buy another Rockwood and never buy another camper at this dealer.

THEN I received an…read moreemail that these crooks, without reason or warning, cancelled the refund that I was being issued for our down payment due to the fact that we had to walk away from a lemon of a deal and never actually bought anything from them! I'd give zero stars if I could! We drove 1 hr 40 min one way to look at their campers. Narrowed it down to two. Per Shane, they are METICULOUSLY checked upon arrival and are free from ANY AND ALL leaks or major damage and in great working order but, even still, you have the final walk through for peace of mind. We drove home, decided on a 2013 Keystone Premier for $13,995. It appeared to be in great shape just a little dirty. Like it had been sitting around. I also noticed 2 carpenter ants inside. probably nothing. I expressed (multiple times) that I needed to know there wasn't a nest. I had an experience with them at home and they are a nightmare. I was assured ants are just "bad everywhere right now" but that it would still be investigated. I brought this up on a subsequent phone call and was re-assured. My husband noticed the tires were dry rotted but Shane, being the stand up guy he is was taking care of us and got us new ones on him. Even though the unit was listed as "willing to negotiate", apparently putting new tires on it, which it needed, took away any wiggle room in the price... Day of pick up (My birthday) we got up early and made the drive to be the first appointment of the day so I could still enjoy my birthday. The service guy Jay, doing our walk through, was "not feeling well" aka we think drunk bc we could smell alcohol on him from a mile away. But we overlooked that. Probably more than we should have. After all it's camping life, right?! Here's where it gets fun. On our camper with no major issues and DEFINITELY no leaks or water damage we found: The salesman did NOT, in fact, find out if there was a carpenter ant nest or even investigate them at all. Instead, he sprayed the inside down with Raid. All good (Says Shane...). Bonus for us though, is the fact that they didn't clean the camper. That allowed us to see a trail of dead carpenter ants (and a couple live ones still) from the front leading in the back to a HUGE pile of dead ants. Think 75+. Called my local exterminator, and they advised that was indicative of a nest. In case you don't know, carpenter ants, almost exclusively target wet, rotting wood. Water heater had a BAD leak that only started after we tested the water pump. But don't worry, those are just silicone drain screws and the "new girl" probably just cross threaded it. Cheap fix. Day 1 my husband was assured he could inspect the roof. We almost forgot about it but as soon as I reminded him, the whole mood shifted. They were pissed. You could feel it, and it quickly became obvious why. Earlier, we noticed a water leak with damage in the ceiling of the bath. We thought it was odd that we didn't notice it before. But don't worry we were told (by brewery Jay) it's just the paper bubbling and from condensation in the bath. Turns out, I do know the difference between damaged wood and bubbling paper! A pipe on the roof had leaking caulk where the ceiling damage was. When my husband pressed the caulk and water shot out! Finally, at the front, the roof was separating under a seal very bad. This created quite the stir. And when they checked it, I overheard them whisper "yeah this is a problem". Basically we were told the only fix is to replace the roof and they weren't doing that on their dime. OR we could just have them put down this handy dandy super tape that would "never come up once it's put down". Yeah bc at this point I trust you guys completely! We have video and upon consulting a different repair shop they laughed at the tape idea and assured us there is no easy fix for it. By now, 2 hours wasted on site (3.5 for us) Shane sees the writing on the wall. There was NO attempt to salvage this sale in his eyes, given the problems and there was no acknowledgement or apology. He clearly felt caught with his pants down and all he did was say "I mean we can just go ahead and refund your ($3,000) down payment and you can be on your way". My husband and I were a little dumbfounded and for some reason needed "time to think about it". We discussed it on our 1.5 hour ride home and called Shane to request the $3,000.00 back. He obliged and I saw a pending transaction on my account. Less than 24 hours later, at 10:10am I got an email from my bank that Barton Lake RV Sales canceled my refund. My bank said the merchant canceled the refund. So here I am, 10pm on a Friday night, writing our experience to hopefully help out the next guy. The immediately reposted the unit at the same price knowing ALL these issues! This is criminal. Do NOT buy from these guys. They aren't trust worthy. I WILL get my money back. Don't be fooled by their fake kindness like we were.

Ensured multiple times how unit had been winterized, oil changed, and that unit was ready to roll. Asked twice if a pre-delivery inspection checklist was utilized. Ensured they did so, and that it was completely ready to go. Took unit straight to outdoor storage for 3 weeks and had several days of freezing temps. Weather warmed for a short time, so we used the RV. Discovered unit had not been winterized, grey tank was ~2/3 full, black tank ~1/3, no anti-freeze in pipes, oil not changed, generator exhaust pipe was hanging loose below unit, all tires low air pressure. Brought unit back expecting nothing more than an explanation of how this happened, an apology and a quick fix of these items. No apology, empathy or taking of responsibility. Reluctantly agreed to fix the items but made us leave it without a clear return date, which ruined our planned Thanksgiving trip. Upon pickup, thought we would get a better explanation and some kind of apology, maybe a wash of the RV to make us feel a bit better... but instead, more excuses, double talk, indifference and attitude. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place... we are certain, the same stuff is happening with their own Phoenix products. My husband rebuilt the furnace with parts purchased from another parts dealer. It turned out that some of the parts provided were not furnace parts, and some were residential furnace parts. Blue Campus bent over backwards to get us the parts we needed as fast as possible to get us heat as we are living in the camper and it was getting down to freezing at night. The service manager helped us with a temporary fix to get the furnace running while we were waiting on parts to come in. For years we had been going to another dealer in Fort Wayne and they always seemed like we were a burden which we also saw other customers treated the same way. Blue Compass might be a further drive depending on where you are, but the customer service is worth the time. Every time I called or went in everyone was so nice and had a smile on their face!
