We live in Kansas City missouri. We shopped for an RV five miles from our house at dealership that we have bought two other RVs from. After getting prices from our local dealer, we found the same travel trailer for $14000 less at Wanna RV. My husband negotiated with our local dealer who eventually came down $10000. But because we HAD to even have that conversation with our local dealer, we chose to drive the 600 miles to buy from wanna RV. They treated us right. And by the way the country area around town is beautiful. We will be back to visit the area.

When I dropped off the unit gentleman looked it over and nothing further was said. I was called a few days later by the gentleman, who advised the the total was $1185.65. I explained how I was told a ballpark number near $400. He said I don't know where the number would have come from. Picked up the unit today, stared a conversation about how much the cost differs from the ballpark quote. The owner very quickly stated he doesn't work for free and the lady never told me those numbers. He said either pay $1185 or leave the unit . I understand not working for free.. however nobody would accept a cost of three times the original ballpark without even a phone call to see if this is ok to proceed. Will never return and will advertise often about my experience. The requested work was not satisfactory either, didn't even do a complete reseal as asked, touched up the vents not new sealant, the lights were also not resealed either. See photos

My slide had to be removed for repairs and, because of manufacturing defects, some rotted floor had to be replaced, and some other issues along with electrical (again, a dealer caused problem). I stopped there on a trip and let them have it for 2 days and the work was done very well. They were very professional, friendly, and accommodating. Even though they are 1,000 miles from my house, I will save any major repair that can make it here until I am on a trip so they can work on it. Very happy customer here.

(I don't care for pinch and rolled outer walls) but this 5th wheel is wonderful. We are 1 yr into ownership now (bought new) and have had a few issues. All with components though. (not a fault of Highland Ridge) Components are stoves, microwaves, fridge and so on. I have called Highland Ridge several times and they have treated me very very well. My issues have been resolved mostly by them as the dealership where we bought are untruthful, spiteful, disrespectful, treat people like cattle. The quality of the 3x Open Range is top of the line. We RV a lot.. We are actually in our Open Range, about the same about of time we are in our home. We travel the Oregon coast line, and this 5th wheels just hauls along. Those who know the Oregon coast line, know it's not the best road in Oregon either. But our Open Range 3X just keeps moving with us. Please feel free to ask any questions.. I also own a Facebook group for all kinds of RVers with over 17,000 members.. we are 5th wheels, trailers and Motorhomes.

They cut a hole in the underbelly of the rig and did not patch it up or tell us about it. We discovered the hole when we had to put the rig back in for repairs for a slide out that quit working after they replaced the gears last year. After 4 phone conversations they said there was a 90 day warranty on the work they do and we failed to do proper maintenance on our rig. They failed to repair the hole when they did their work last year and would not consider doing anything about it now.
