I called another dealer in town, but they didn't have the needle plate in stock & they said I could probably find it online...so that's what I did! This place had it in stock & answered a question very nicely over the phone. The price was also very competitive for a high end sewing machine part. Ordering what I needed was relatively easy since I had the part number. I just plugged it into their website. I paid via PayPal & I was able to track my order. It came about five days faster than they originally said it would. The part was exactly what I ordered and packaged securely for US Mail. I also appreciated that they had videos linked from their website for some of the cool tools I can get for my machine. Overall, I'm very happy with this experience and will probably order from them again if I need something for my sewing machine.

Tried to get Joann's by phone and email. 2 weeks later tried Husqvarna VM stated call Singer had to fill out complaint form. No response. Today I found Indiana Quit Depot and drove 40 miles one way. When I arrived I was greeted like I was a friend. They immediately took care of the problem at no charge. I will continue to drive the distance for my sewing needs. They are a great small town business that will treat you right.

While the store sold the most well known brands, there were also tread and floss brands I never heard of before. This would also be a great place to shop if you need gift ideas for your family members and friends who enjoy needle crafts. The staff person was very, very helpful and knowledgeable. She was fun to talk with and was able to answer all my questions. The store also sells different fabrics too for stitching on. My only reason for not giving five stars is that there was a little too much merchandise here. It was hard to look at everything in a short amount of time. However, this would be a great place to go if wanting to find your happy place and escape from the everyday for a while. Next time I shop here, I'll plan ahead so I can spend more time looking through different patterns.

I put in a $300 order on March 25th and didn't get an order confirmation email. However, the funds showed as pending on my credit card. I still hadn't heard anything on March 27th, so I reached out to Yellow Door Quilt Store on Facebook Messenger. Received a one word reply: Monday. Monday came and went, and I messaged Wednesday asking if they had shipped. Crickets. I messaged again at the end of Wednesday telling them if I didn't hear from them by end of day Thursday, I was filing a dispute with my credit card. Crickets. Thursday afternoon, today, I saw that they had seen my message in Messenger, and asked, No reply? They immediately responded saying they didn't have the inventory and had cancelled the transaction so no dispute was necessary. I looked at my CC and sure enough, it had been refunded the day previous. I asked why they had said they were shipping Monday, and they answered that they were going to CHECK on Monday, and apologized for not telling me Tuesday that they didn't have the inventory. Wool, cotton and rayon knits, boucle, suitngs, mattress ticking in colors, fabric for fancy kids clothes, glamorous fabrics for gowns, you name it! The quilting cotton selection is huge and they are so much better quality than the now defunct JoAns, Hobby Libby, or Walmart. The button and lace selection is amazing. The folks working there are so helpful and nice! I cannot say enough good things about this store. I just wish there were more local fabric stores. I am near Calico Country and they have about 1/4 of the selection of quilting cottons and not much in terms of garment sewing.

When we walked in, we were greeted by several employees, and even offered a tour of the store so we would know where to look for different items. We were feeling as if we were let loose in a candy store as if we were kids. I found several items I had not seen in other fabric stores. The store is very well laid out, organized clean, and the sales help was exceptional. I do not feel cheated out of going to Paducah, as I am bringing home several really great fabrics to work with crafts and garment construction. I would recommend the store to anyone who likes to sew. The store is also a babylock dealer so it's nice to see familiar machines in the store as you walk in . Every item that you buy is actually recorded with your name and phone number so in case you do need more items they can ship it to you. I thought that was a pretty good touch. Highly recommend
