I went into so by Katie to get six of my towels monogrammed I picked over everything and wanted 5inch on two of my towels. The lady told me that it was a $20 day. I was rung up for a $25 per each item. I paid $163 which sounded insane for six towels to be monogrammed and a few days later they texted me saying that I needed to pay 20 more dollars if I wanted the 5 inch for both of those towels inevitably said no because paying close to $200 for towels in my eyes is insane. When I did the math after I picked them up, I was extremely angry at the fact that I was overcharged. I first called and talked to Katie herself, and she was extremely rude to me. Kept on cutting me off and not listening. It was definitely not a customer based business. I went back to go over with her. I was very kind. I said it was very cruddy that I was kept in the dark about the total and she broke down my whole thing and there is a 4% charge that gets added if you pay with card that was not disclosed to me there was just a little piece of paper in the corner of a table about it. And then there was nine dollars worth of tax. I told her that I was extremely frustrated that nothing like this was disclosed. It felt like I was paying for something with a lot of hidden fees. at the end of the conversation, I told her that many people would love to know about how you run your business in this isn't an OK way to run your business. She looked me dead in my face and told me like anybody would ever listen to a teenager. I was genuinely so frustrated and the owner of the store you can tell is money focused and not customer focused. As in the way she would love to rip off. It sounds like any of her customers just so she can make more money and it seems like for 16 years. She has been doing this. read more

I took a cotton wall hanging in to be sewn for a baby's wall. It only needed a straight hidden stitch. I could have sewn it myself, but I wanted it perfect. when I picked it up the charge was almost $20. (it was one tiny hidden stitch no more than 3 " long) The lady had quoted me a price around $5. Totally ridiculous. I was shocked. I told her I would NEVER be back. After looking at the stitch I could have done better! Nice store & cute items for sale, but a major rip off! Get the charge in writing! read more

I unfortunately have to remove a couple stars from my previous rating. At first, the hem job on my bridesmaid dress seemed okay even though I did initially see that the second layer could be seen slightly in the back. Well... after looking more closely, I realized that way more was showing than I previously noticed. It looked pretty ridiculous from behind. I had to have my fiancé use safety pins to pin up the second layer so that you couldn't see it. I'm not sure if she just rushed through pinning up the hem when I went in and tried the dress on for her. I then started noticing that the threads at the hem were becoming undone. Overall, I wouldn't use these services again due to not being confident in their reliability. read more

Dropped off 2 pair sweatpants on a Saturday. Showed her employee pic of what I wanted. When writing down order she simply said the color was green. She did not show us any thread colors or fonts. She said to send Katie the pic. Katie replies she could do this. Below is the pic I sent and what I received. When I contacted her she said I was not specific as to color and all of the reasons I was wrong. Never took responsibility for anything. Did nothing to make it right. Poor business practice. Does great work as long as you like the color she picks for you. Out $40 on sweats. Out $50 for what we paid her. She got my money once, but never again. read more

I have had many sweatshirts embroidered here and lately the threads have been coming undone only weeks after purchasing. When I brought them back and asked about fixing them she charged me. This was obviously a sewing flaw on her behalf and should have been fixed for free. I am disappointed in the low quality of the sewing here and will not be returning. read more

I think this company is better at embroidery to purses and bags. They botched my daughters prom dress by hemming it too short. when we got it back my dress wasn't in its cover the right way it was bunched up in the bottom of the cover cause it to be wrinkly and I had to dry clean it. Also seems were coming out and the dress was great quality until taking it in to them. Will not be coming back to this store. read more

I really want to support this business but had a bad recent experience. I specifically asked for guidance about what would look best for two items that I had embroidered. I don't sew and needed help to understand what font, size, and color would be best. She is a professional - I trust her judgement. One item turned out ok - not great. The second item was not what I expected. The embroidery doesn't show up well at all. I wish she would have suggested something different to me. You have to sign a paper saying that you will accept the item however it turns out. I understand the need for that. When I picked up my item and expressed displeasure I was told that she thought it looked fine. Was also told that it could be patched over for an additional charge :( The work is good quality, no issue there. Just make sure you know what you are asking for. On a positive note - turnaround times was good - less than one week! read more
