I was dog sitting Khloe today and decided to stop here to see what they had for dogs. I thought…read morethey would have a section with water available for dogs, but I didn't see one. They had a decent selection of dog toys and other items. There was only one checkout lane open when we arrived, so the line was really long. We also had a hard time finding the dog treats and ended up having to ask a worker for help. They were actually in the first aisle, but we completely missed them because the checkout line was long and blocking the view. I ended up buying Khloe some dog treats, and she really liked them! The small bag was about $5, which I thought was reasonable. Thankfully, they eventually opened another checkout lane, so we didn't have to wait too long. Customer service was good. It was a decent quick stop while I was out with Khloe.

We take the cat there to hopefully get her all clean and brushed out, but because of how her fur is, it looked like she had flea dirt. So she turned us away, I'll give her that she was polite and clear with us that the cat needed a bath and some treatment. She didn't, her fur is literally multi colored, we bathed her today and combed her five different times in her bath once before and after brushing out loose fur, twice in the bath while we were washing her off and once after and we found no trace of fleas or flea dirt. Now she's clean, we're both aching bc I have back issues, my friend is chronically ill, and the cat is clean as a whistle and pissed at us for taking two hours to clean her. I wasn't sure if it was because we laid out the cats issues of being new to bathing and she has some anxiety and attitude when it came to other people she didn't know but it wouldn't have taken long to have looked at her coat and been understanding of that she's a thick coated cat that was in need of some bathing because she can't reach anywhere but her paws

After many attempts at finding someone who could help with our previous dog she agreed to try and was a true blessing. Our dog never loved it (always hated it in fact) but he could get through it with little issues and be groomed. Our current rescue has different struggles but Pam has been willing to work with us again and that is much appreciated. Grooming is a hard business and yet all of our rescue pets deserve kind treatment and she can provide it!

This was a great experience for all of us, we learned a lot and Theo definitely did too! Every week we practiced new tricks and tactics and our instructor was so knowledgeable and helpful. They also ended the several-week program with a fun obstacle course that earned our graduation! We each did it one at a time and cheered our classmates on. This was a fun environment for learning with my first pet as an adult. They also have a grooming service that we have been using ever since. Ms. Pam is responsive and we schedule appointments over text. For a nail trimming, bath, and full trim is around $40 and she accepts cash or check. Since I live on the south side of downtown, this is a great affordable option compared for pricier options closer by. It's definitely worth the easy drive to Beech Grove.
