We've used Furry Godmother at least 5-6 times over the past three years. We do 30 minute checks on our cats when we go out of town. You can leave detailed notes about each pet, their routines, house access, etc. After each visit, we get a couple of photos plus a description of how the cats are doing. We've had perfect attendance from the sitters--we have never been left hanging. The sitters are great about following directions. The best you can get! As a Yelp dependent shopper, I did not know where to start looking for a dog walker! I couldn't find anything on Yelp! (Which was difficult for someone like me!) I live in the downtown Indianapolis area and went through a list I found on Google of 5-10 dog walkers which covered my area before choosing Esta. One thing that directly drew me to choosing her was her communication. For me, communication is huge!!! I like someone who responds quickly and doesn't leave me hanging. Esta constantly responds to calls, texts, emails - IMMEDIATELY! This is a big factor for me, when deciding on trusting someone with my little baby's life. So I am going on week two of having Esta let Charlie out twice a week, around lunchtime. I typed up some guidelines for Esta (so caters to every request) - such as where to walk Charlie, what commands to use with Charlie - as well as feeding Charlie after the walk. Esta leaves a note every day, (and sometimes goodies) journaling how the day went and some nice feedback on Charlie. She also texts at least 3 photos to me with each visit - WHICH I LOVE! Then I get to see Charlie and see how happy he is, even from my desk at work. So far, we are very satisfied in our choice with Esta!! She was on the more expensive side, but I believe, you get what you pay for. She is very dependable and assured us that even in the worst snow storms, her and her team of girls will always show up to let Charlie out - which is just another reason we love her so far. Wow I am shocked there are any good reviews on this place. I scheduled two meet and greets one got rescheduled and the other one was a no show. I would never hire this place considering they can't show up for a meet and greet God knows if they will show up to take care of your animals. I emailed the owner once it was I 15 minutes past the meeting time. No response. I emailed her back again a couple days later making sure she took me off her schedule for April. She still has never responded or even apologized. As a business owner myself I understand things happen and employees can unreliable but wow this takes the cake.
