The good news. Word of mouth is still a very good thing, but Yelp is better & faster. I wish I had found Dr. Shannon Sinsheimer on Yelp 6 months ago. Dr. Sinsheimer is an intuitive empathic healer. She is an amazing listener & perceptive inquirer. So relieved to have found someone to steer me back into balance. Her front office girl is bubbly and positive. The place has a great vibe when you walk into the waiting room. Looking forward to discovering everything this location has to offer. He didn't look at my knee at all, in fact he didn't come within 6 feet of me. He didn't ask whether I had pain, didn't look at the swelling. He stood behind his computer and brought my x-ray up on the screen. To every question I asked he responded with derision. Someone (perhaps my primary care doctor) had told him I was interested in a knee replacement. He seemed to think it was his job to ridicule both me and the idea that I would want this operation. Mr Ronquillo was the most hostile medical professional I have ever met, and the least competent.

I also feel that Kaiser is so politically strong in California that when they make a mistake, it is very difficult to sue them for malpractice. Dr. Fink is my GP and she is a literal life saver. That ultrasound revealed a mass on my kidney which was determined to be cancerous. I had the kidney removed before the cancer could spread, and I don't have to have any chemo or radiation treatments. Dr Fink was beyond compassionate during this very terrifying time, and I credit her with saving my life. I've been seeing her for almost 3 years and she is terrific every time.

their over the phone staff is extremely rude and sound annoyed when you ask them questions. and…read moregoing into the office, it takes forever to see anyone in that office i was there last week and it took me an hour and a half just to speak with the NP, not even the actual doctor. don't get me wrong, the front office staff is amazing and super sweet and welcoming. but that wait time to speak with someone is ridiculous. and they don't even address all of the tests conducted, i had to ask about the results to each test i was sent to do. i'm definitely switching to a regular doctors office. each time i have to call, i get anxious and have a panic attack because i've had such bad experiences with their over the phone representatives and i feel like it shouldn't have to be that way, i should feel calm when i call to ask a question. avoid this place like the plague and find a better doctor. but if this is the only spot you can afford to go to, then go for it; but id recommend elsewhere
