This facility of the Primary Care branch of Eisenhower Medical Center is one of the better that are located across the Coachella Valley. They have both male and female physicians for you to see and you can typically get an appointment within a week of calling to schedule one, many times there are even next day appointments available. Always ask to be added to the cancellation list if you're unable to get an appointment in two weeks or less, it's for those who call and cancel their appointment 48-hours prior to have their spot as an option for those on the list for a sooner appointment. The office gals upfront that check you in for appointments, do your co-pay and have you sign or fill out paperwork are some of the best front office people I've come across in the healthcare industry, they love their jobs and they even know established patients by name and face. Checking in for your appointment is so simple and often you just sign the consent for treatment form and pay any due co-pay and usually you wait ten minutes or less before the nurse comes out to get you. They're located in Suite 205A and 205B, both have separate exterior entrances and yet their lobbies are one inside. They have two desks to check-in for your appointment as some physicians are on the 'A' side of the office and some are on the 'B' side of the office. The names of the physicians are on the exterior doors and if you don't see yours, just walk in and ask if you're at the right side. I see Dr. Tate De Leon as my GP, he is one of the best physicians at this location. He takes ample time with you each visit to ensure all your concerns, issues and health needs are addressed and in ways you can understand. He does seem and look young, and he is only 43 and relatable to those of us in our mid-20's to mid-30's and is able to aid in most general medical concerns and short-term treatment of medical specialty issues (like mental health medications , sleep aids, anxiety issues, pain management and such) and then will refer you to one of the specialist physicians in the area best equipped to assist in long-term treatment. This office offers a physician for every demographic, from geriatric to younger children, and all of them are so competent and through in you care they provide you! This office location has an Eisenhower Imaging location, Eisenhower Labtechniques, and even a Eisenhower Immediate Care locations in adjacent suites in the same building. Easily offering a one-stop experience to see your physician, get a scan and get lab work completed by just walking a few doors down and around the small medical complex. I would advise anyone seeking a physician for primary care with Eisenhower to choose this location over the newly built and heavily frequented La Quinta location. I only say this as the physicians to select from are limited and not always compatible for those patients in the age range of 25 to 35. Plus getting appointments within two weeks of calling is difficult most times of the year, unlike this location! The downside of this location is that if requiring a doctor note, form completion by your physician or hard copies of medical records / visits they do charge at minimum $10 when doing so outside a scheduled appointment. If you do those things during a scheduled visit then make sure you ask your physician directly during the visit and then the front desk and office manager can't charge you the fee the would have. They are strict on requiring payment at time of picking up aforementioned notes, forms and records outside of a scheduled visit. I love my physician and in turn love this location, if or when my physician is to leave I would most likely either follow him to his new location or find a provider not at this location. Try them, they're great and just one more note about this location and in regards to selecting a physician; if you dislike your newly selected physician for any reason and at anytime you can switch providers only one time (EVER) with approval from the office manager (excluding events like your provider leaving the practice or situations of the type) and if you wanting to switch to a new provider a second time they will not approve it and give you the option of seeing someone at another Eisenhower Primary Care location only! read more

BEST MEDICAL ARE EVER!!! I am 84-years-old, a cancer survivor and diabetic. I've had countless medical tests over the years with many wonderful clinics, in Los Angeles, but Eisenhower Labtechniques in Palm Desert is amazing! VERY kind, professional and caring staff. And I always got to talk to a live person right away when I called on the phone and my questions were answered in a kind, professional way. In contrast, my experience this week with Quest Diagnostics was a nightmare. After not being able to to talk with a human being at Quest Diagnostics no matter what menu number I used, and not having emails returned, and then having my appointment cancelled by Quest within 2 hours of my scheduled appointment time, my experience with Eisenhower was a blessing from Heaven! I brought my son to Tiffany for the first year of his life and I certainly regret it. Tiffany was a good provider until she began working through Eisenhower. Her staff has absolutely no clue how to work with children or their parents. The fact that her main nurse told me directly that he had no idea what he was doing was a huge concern. When it came to Tiffany, every concern I had was completely unreasonable. She told me there is no chance my son has a dairy allergy, he's just lactose intolerant. I take him to a pediatric allergist and sure enough he gets diagnosed with a dairy allergy. When I brought up my concern of him possibly having a lip and tongue tie, she made me seem as though I was insane. Sure enough, I take him to a pediatric dentist and he needs oral correction for a lip and tongue tie. The absolute final straw was when she told me that I needed to put my 9 month old down for bed and walk away and not come back until the morning because "he needs to be sleeping through the night and I need to teach him who the boss is in this house." First off, I am his mother not his boss. She told me that by not sleep training I was setting my son up for a lifetime of poor sleep and he would always hold that against me. What an absolutely horrible person to say such things to a first time mother. If you are considering bringing your child to Tiffany, please don't. Her transfer to Eisenhower has been, in my opinion, the biggest mistake of her career as she no longer is able to provide such one on one time with her patients and relies on her incompetent front desk staff and nurses. Unless you want to constantly be told through "medical advice" that you are a terrible mother, go elsewhere. read more
