Dr Siman is not only highly educated, but he has an innate ability to quickly identify the issue(s)/ problem(s). His high IQ is beyond apparent. His perfect text book knowledge combined with his experience, caring and kindness... makes a very rare, old school Dr. I feel safe and secure....and well cared for. HORRIFIC! Do not go to this office if you want any remotely decent medical care. Dr. Siman destroys patients" health and wallets. He keeps patients waiting for hours when they are ill and have appointments. He has a horrible bedside manner and professes to be an expert in everything when he is, in fact, a D.O. with no privileges at Eisenhower. He is not an M.D. He tries to make more money from his own incompetent lab on site, scams patients for every last dollar and performs procedures he should not (skin cancer removal without even a biopsy). He prescribed medication for an issue without further tests that turned out to be colon cancer. His care, or lack thereof, is medical malpractice worthy. He ONLY cares about money and optimizing his bottom line. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. H at Borrego Stat for a couple of years now. Wait times are usually close to zero. Dr. H does an excellent job of quickly and accurately diagnosing issues. Does good job of completely resolving your concerns and will follow up later to make sure problem is completely resolved. His care is very comparable to (expensive) concierge doctor I have used. read more

I love Homayoun Siman, M.D. but I will NEVER go to him again. The office is completely disorganized and they are only about money. The staff is completely incompetent. They also have a new rule that you have to book an appointment once a month ($1200 a year) in order to get refills on your medication. The staff is rude, doesn't follow through, and never gives the doctor messages from clients. It is very sad that it has come down to this. I would not go to this company. Also, even though you have appointments at a certain time, it consistently is 1.5 hours late to see the doctor. Why in the world would Dr. Siman work with Stat?!? If only he knew how many clients are leaving because of his office staff and only about money policies! read more

Do NOT go here. They do NOT respect you. They require monthly appointments for controlled medications but still will not dispense them. They also require blood work every 3 months. The staff hates you. The doctors hare you. Worse quality of care medical office I've ever been to in my life. Columbia is better than this place. Probably even mexico or north Korea. I hope this place goes out of business. They do not deserve to handle the responsibility of patients, they do not care about their patients. read more

I arrived in time for my initial appointment and waited in the waiting room for 1 hour. I have been trying to schedule a follow up and get my prescriptions refilled now for two weeks. I have called SIX times and left SIX voice mails with no response. I have a serious health disorder, and without my medication, I'll be in the ICU within a week. He is an excellent doctor, very thorough. However, the front office staff, ANNA, ONE WHO IS COMPLETELY LACKING IN ANY KIND OF HUMANITY OR COMPASSION, is enough of a deterrent to make one look for another primary. I give one star to the office overall, as the front office staff can make or break a doctor's practice. He fired the other other because of complaints, maybe he will fire Anna and restore some dignity to his practice. Dr. S is a wonderful caring doctor. He has been treating my mom and dad for years, and I'm my moms POA. The office staff is hard to work with at times. Often the phone goes straight to voicemail and call backs are forgotten about. I think maybe they need more office support. The phone thing I don't get. RE: COVID TESTING I now know 3 different people who had 2 negative tests and then ended up being positive. They charge you 150$ for the covid test which is really just the antibody test. After my friend still wasn't feeling good she went back a 3rd time and got the nasal swab and ended up testing positive. Infecting a few more people along the way. Recently the same thing happened to another friend and she ended up in the hospital because her fever was so high. When something is too good to be true, it usually is. DO NOT GET TESTED HERE, IT IS A SCAM AND INCORRECT RESULTS. read more

I was very sick and from out of town on vacation. Dr. Siman and his staff found time to see me urgently, diagnose my problem and gave excellent medical care. His staff was available to answer all my questions after the appointment. Dr. Siman was truly caring and worried about my health. He kept close contact through phone calls and was reassuring. To whom it may concern & international students I hope this email finds you well. I am contacting you regarding a personal matter that I had with one of the staff members of STAT Urgent Care in Palm Desert. On the 24th of October I went to the STAT Urgent Care that was recommended by a COD Nurse, I met with Dr. Robert G. Czako when I entered the hospital, frankly he had a welcoming attitude and then he told me to go to the nurse for making an appointment and to check if my insurance was approved by the Urgent Care. Then the nurse told me that she will call me and inform me about the insurance approval on Monday the 27th. Unfortunately I haven't received any calls from the nurse, so I went to the hospital to check about the approval of my insurance (aetna). I approached the nurse and asked about my insurance, my insurance was unaccepted but that's okay, although I was shocked of the nurse's attitude when she was talking to me and on top of that she did not call me in the first time. I do not know if she has any personal issue with me but I sure would like to inform you that throughout my three years in the US, I have never experienced such a bad service. I often travel out to palm springs for vacations, weekends, and for family get-a-ways. This is one place that I can always rely on being listened to, cared for and put at ease when I am out of town. Not sure if last writer was just having a bad day or what! I've been through 4 Primary Docs and several Cancer Docs. Bob Czako is a keeper! He listens which is more than I can say for some. I've never waited more than 10 minutes to be seen. If I feel I need to get in, I always do. He has a lab in house, which I appreciate. I still work full time, turned 69 today and have prostate cancer. I appreciate all my Docs, including MY PCP, Dr. Bob Czako. read more
