Beware - this is not custom-fit or tailoring. Read the reviews for all Indochino locations, and please save your money. I spent over an hour getting "custom-fit", only for the clothing that I bought (2 pants and 3 shirts) to be completely off - not even remotely my size. The pants are too tight around the waist, too short, pockets are flared and tight in the seat. What is the point of measuring and trying on 4 different samples if the product you are getting is not even close to your fit? The same with the shirts - length is too short (presumably to save fabric), sleeve too short, chest too tight. A big red flag is that they "under no circumstance" will refund you, as per their webpage. The products are shipped directly from a Chinese workshop to you, with Indochino only taking your measurements and no more. They are acting as a middle-man basically sending your order to a Chinese workshop, and collecting your money. You will get a tracking number from the Chinese workshop. They claim to make adjustments, but this is beyond adjustments - read the other reviews. My clothing does not fit as the sizing is wrong. The "custom measurements" is a lie and a scam. The tailoring is very poor - clothing is single stitch, button holes are too small, shirt collars are stiff. The items came with no protective wrapping, placed in a plastic envelope wrinkled. Singularly, the worst clothing buying experience and huge waste of money . Pants are priced at $250-350 each, and shirts at $160-$200 each. What you get is complete garbage in tailoring and fit. Their guarantee is making alterations is a lie - please read other reviews. Service is poor, value is very poor. You will not get what you see in the store. Wish I could give this a 0 star! Absolutely at all costs do not get a custom suit fitted at this Indochino. Suits are over priced, single stitched and made in china. We were a party of 8 for a wedding, all 8 suits had measurement problems after being fitted in store and shipped to us from china, I might add because they are shipped from China they arrive in a box and already come wrinkled and creased, so you now have to go get them dry-cleaned/pressed - for a suit that you have not ever warn! To explain the situation in more detail, one persons leg lengths arrived 4 inches in difference between each pant length, my sleeves were 5 inches short and leg lengths were passed my toes. Every one of us had issues with sleeve lengths and leg lengths and a few had tightness in the chest and shoulders for a CUSTOM FITTED SUIT THAT WAS MEASURED IN STORE!!! We were not offered any compensation, and were threatened that we only had 14 days since delivery to get back to the store in time for our "free" alterations. We all had a seriously hard time getting booked as they claimed they were busy which you would expect a customer of a party of 8 for a wedding should be priority when the store has a policy of 14 days. We were measured by two young men who seemed to have almost have zero experience of what they were doing and when I asked where this was being made they laughed at me and said "Obviously China.. Bro" When I arrived for my alterations I met probably their best employee who was an older gentleman who I wish we had from the get go as he seemed very knowledgeable and experienced. I went to the Yorkdale Toronto location to have my measurements done and ordered a set of tuxedos for my upcoming wedding. After I received the order, I realized that it was made too small for me. The chest was overly tight, you can crease running across my back, the lapels are popping up, pants waist was overly tight and I can barely breath and the pants pocket lines are popping up as well. I went to the showroom immediately for a fitting appointment and the person that helped me told me to not worry about it as the tailor can fix it. I stated that my wedding was coming up and I need it done as quickly as possible. This first appointment was on June 30. No one called or emailed me over the next 2 weeks to pick up the tux and I had to call in on July 14 to check on the status and that was how I found out that it was available for pick up. So, I went in as soon as I could on July 15. I was told on the phone that no appointment was needed and walk in was fine, so I did. I tried on the "altered" tux when I went in person, and I felt like nothing was really done to it and it was still super tight. I asked for a service associate to help me and if they can fix the issue, the associate told me that they were all busy and I needed to book an appointment to come back the next day. Again, I complied and came back on July 16. On July 16, the tailor was there, so I put on the tux and the tailor said he could fix it and it would take another week. I booked another appointment and came back on July 22nd, again it was too tight. At this point, I knew it won't work and I asked the associate if they can remake it and fast ship it to make it in time for my wedding in mid- August. The associate (the same person that helped me on 15th & 16th of July) told me that he wouldn't be able to tell me and he needs to check with his manager who called in sick that day. He asked me to take the tux home and use it as a backup in case I can't find another set in time of the wedding and Indochino wouldn't need it back ever and they can either make me a new one or issue me a store credit. He also stated that Indochino doesn't do refund. On July 22, the manager did call me and told me to come in for measurement again so they can make me a new one. I wanted to come in on July 23, but there was no appointment available so I had to come in on July 24. On July 24th, I went without my tux thinking they are just measuring me again. The manager insisted that I needed to bring the old tux back and without it he won't order me a new set. It was extremely inconsistent with what I was told on the phone. The associate that helped me on 15th & 16th was also there at the store, I told the manager to just ask his associate of how unfit the tux is but the manager wouldn't bring the associate over and kept on insisting to see me in the suits in person. He also said that he cannot guarantee that the new suits will make it in time. We asked nicely for a refund and the manager said he will need to ask the Corporate and he cannot promise anything. When I described the issue, the manager told me that I shouldn't be standing too straight so the crease wouldn't be showing. What kind of advice is that??? I find Indochino's practice extremely unprofessional. The people literally wasted 2 months of my time and now I have nothing to wear for my wedding. Each time I had to come in during the week, I had to take time off work. They really do not appreciate their customers and their customers' time. They made me go in 5 separate times and wanted me to come back 1 more time with the tux. And god knows how many more times after if a new set was made. Between the associates and the manager, there was no consistent messaging. Had Indochino just admitted that they couldn't fix it early on, I wouldn't need to scramble to look for a new set now and I would've just accepted the store credit ore remake. Even when I raise the concern and the urgency of the matter, the staff simply didn't care which is odd for a business that heavily advertises for wedding attires. At this point, I would like to ask for a full refund and Indochino should review the operational guidelines of its showroom staff. For suits that are terribly made, a refund should be given to its future customers without questions asked. read more

At the Yorkdale shop, I went for my final fitting. I dealt with someone who is short, seems to be of Asian descent. She didn't give me her name. She was rude from the get go! I kept telling her that the shoulders on the suit were not comfortable at all, were tight! Yet, she didn't want to do anything about them until I insisted firmly! She told me "I know what a good suit looks like", to which I replied "Well I know what a good suit feels like". She then said, "We can't keep working on your suit over and over", even though Indochino has a 60 day guarantee for the perfect fit! It's so ridiculous that she was willing to argue with me about my shoulders, was not willing to honour the 60 day suit guarantee! This is very poor customer service! Happy with my experience at Indochino Yorkdale. If you come here to get a suit for the first time, here's how it works: First, you book an appointment online. When you come in, a staff member will take a bunch of measurements from head to toe and snap a couple pictures. You'll try on a couple blazer and pant templates so you can get approximately the right fit. I'd recommend bringing a pair of dress shoes you plan to wear with the suit so the hemming on the pants will be more accurate. Note: these measurements are used to create your Indochino profile which you can then use to order items online. Next you'll pick your fabric, go through the customization process (there's a lot so I'd recommend checking out options online ahead of time), you'll review with the staff member then place your order. You'll get the suit in a few weeks, and if everything fits you're good to go. If not, you can schedule a Final Look in which the remaining adjustments will be made. It only took a couple days for them to send it off to the tailor and bring it back to the store with the final adjustments. Now it's a great fit. I've since ordered a few shirts online and they all fit great since my measurements are on file. I'd recommend Indochino as a decent and cost effective suit option. read more

My son and husband were referred to Indochino for their 3-pce Suits (groom and father of the groom). What a disaster $850 later! From 'measurement', workmanship, to after-sale customer service at the Yorkdale store, was a much left-to-be-desired overall customer experience. Staff helping customers choose fabric, style and measurement appeared to be uninterested and not knowledgeable enough. 1) Fabric chosen by my husband (wool -- more expensive than the groom's) when finished on the suit looked and felt so light-weight that creases started showing as soon as he tried the jacket on! Wrinkles were still apparent after they steamed the jacket twice! Double-breasted two-button jacket with notch lapels was the choice. Shoulders in jacket were ill-fitting with the 'padding' in both of them drooping low; obviously the armholes were poorly cut and sewn and the breast closure was uneven. 2)Trousers were less of a problem, other than wrinkles in the 'seat' area; obviously too tight and awkwardly clinging. 3) Vest was extremely short and with plenty of loose fabric in the back. Order was received and starting with the fabric (jacket and pants were completely wrinkled), suit seemed to have been sent to my husband by mistake! An appointment was immediately booked to address all the flaws. They did not seem to be surprised to see the poor quality of workmanship, and did indicate that they would not cover more than one alteration of the suit. After initial alterations, order was received and we had to rush back to the store as the suit was still showing multiple flaws. At this new appointment, we were told that there was not much they could do with the vest and jacket! When we insisted to speak to their manager, we were told that they would make an 'exception' and send the jacket for alterations the second time. Picked up the suit for the 2nd time after alterations and, with the exception of the trouser's hem, we ended up taking the vest and jacket to a tailor to attempt some sort of repair before the wedding! There was no acknowledgement by this store that this was merely an issue of poor workmanship and quality of fabric! Overall, a terrible experience! Moore's or another ready-made menswear store would have done a much better job! Conclusion: My son's suit appeared good; my husband's was awful and the proof of this ill-fitting suit is now evident in all wedding photos!! read more
