Ryan came and spent ~an hour making measurements, and then puzzled over design options for several days. He called me multiple times with ideas, questions, and design proposals. Our place was probably ideal for wall mounted mini splits given no attic space and a partially finished basement, but our personal preference was no wall mounted devices. In the end we settled on a 4-zone, ducted heat pump system which put the air handlers out of sight in several less useable closets, the garage, and unfinished basement. The final installation minimized ducting in or across living spaces to an absolute minimum, and at the same time did not compromise the engineering or functioning of the units. On that note, Ryan is meticulous and by the book for design--he will tell you if something won't work, while trying to meet your needs. The actual installation went off very well. Tom led installation, he and his team were respectful of our space, cleaned up well, and ensured the system worked. During the install, Tom also kindly helped with a ducting issue for our dryer after the dryer installation folk botched an install. Overall just outstanding experience, communication, and final product. These guys are a smaller and newer outfit, but they are the real deal - recommend 100%.

Quoting process was very thorough, and we went over almost all options possible. Pricing was not the cheapest but also not the most expensive based on a few quotes that we got. So from my experience you get great value for the service. Scheduling is mostly where my experience was missing that 5th star. Change in scheduling happened about 3 times and so you'll have to be a little flexible because during material and labor shortages due to covid, I'm assuming this where the challenges are. Installation was mostly all clean and went smoothly without any unforeseen issues. This was in about 4 parts: inside unit and compressor one day, outside and inside and basement lines one day, electrician assessment quick look one day, then actual electrician and final turning switch on. There was a very minor issue that we ran into a couple of weeks later but they were able to resolve it within 24 hours at no extra cost. (Covered under warranty)
