I can write a book on how much I hate indoor media A complete horror movie it was , a man by the name of Mark P. Fund walked into my tattoo shop and showed me what he had to offer I listened to what he said and was a little hesitant To make my decision but my wife insisted that we tried it Make let's me know that if I sign for a year I can switch to 6 months if I don't like it . So guess what I didn't like it It was a rip off and completely over priced and when I call to switch to 6 months , they tell me No because it's not part of the contract . And When I tell them mark said I could , they called me a liar and said mark would never do such a thing . So frustrated with there scam I angrily pay them for and ongoing 3 Maby 4 months . Worst experience, this company is stuck with doing business the 80s way. Their whole gimmick is signing a contract and then calling and harassing you to death to collect it. I haven't seen any company push and enforce small value contracts like this since the 1980s. Extremely pushy salesman, Tyler, kept promising all kinds of amazing results, promising to go out of his way to do online as well as in store advertising and even though I should have used my better judgment and gone with my gut which kept telling me not to recommend signing a contract, Tyler's pushing won in the end. The business signed a 6 months contract, paid for 4 and got absolutely zero results. The business ended getting sold at the 4 month point due to covid and heavy losses, and Melissa can't stop calling, threatening and harassing me and the new owners to collect on the 2 months left on the contract. It is insane, I'm not even the owner, I was just the manager who had the misfortune of dealing with this company and giving them my cell phone. Advertising with IndoorMedia via their Register Tapes program was an incredible waste of money. In the year-long (locked in) contract, we spent thousands of dollars and didn't receive a single new customer lead. Early on, when I raised concerns about the lack of leads, I was told by my rep to offer a paid incentive. We were already paying for this advertising and offering a free service and this was the best suggestion they could make. After this, anytime I tried to contact my rep or area manager, I was completely ignored. Suddenly, out of the blue, I was called by my bank and told they had a collection against my business. I had no idea why as I had always paid my bill on time. Once again, after multiple phone calls and emails, no one responded. I finally got a hold of someone in accounting and paid out the rest of my contract. I realize this is a large company and my experience was specific to the Marin County area of California, but clearly IndoorMedia needs to fix the issues with account management in my area or this will simply keep getting worse for them. When the sales rep contacted me, I was hesitant. As a consumer, I never look at receipts. And I should've gone with my gut instinct - it never fails me. After 6 months of this, I've wasted money. And I'm stuck for a year (there's a contract and during covid - that's the last thing I should've done). It has not brought me any NEW clients. Only existing clients that I am now giving discounts (coupons) to. I am going to redo my "campaign" this next quarter, but I am not optimistic that it will be a boon. I'm chalking this up to a very poor business decision and I will not do it again. On a more positive note, the company itself is very organized and they truly are on top of things. I have signed for the AD service with Indoor Media to promote my new business RUBYSTAR . The Ad was through cash register tape (back of it ) and was not effective at all and the company failed to do what they promised perhaps due to COVID 19 situation that many customers opted not to take a receipt during this time . When I saw the Ad was not effective and the current situation with COVID 19 I asked the Indoor Media manager and others in several email communications/phone calls to cancel the service but they kept harassing me again and again and withdrew money from my bank account despite the fact of me informing them in writing (see attachment communication) not to do so . Do not work with this company. We started advertising last year and never received a single customer from their ads. After a year we asked to cancel anymore future ads but were still being charged. No responses to any emails for two months and kept being told someone would call us back. After finally filling a report with our credit card company I began receiving harassing phone calls from some lady threatening to send this to their attorney. I have recordings where she called our company and my personal number multiple times. Every call she was rude and would lie about why she was calling to try to get a response. We purchased a cash register ad with this company that was to print on coupons at Rouses Grocery Store and had 1 coupon redeemed the whole summer. We have other similar coupons in the community that produces hundreds of customers in the summer. Everyone was nice and professional until I complained about a lack of results. I asked for a partial refund as I didn't want to keep the program going but they refuse.
