Their graphics team is easy to work with (hence the 3 stars), but they convince you it works by "sheer numbers."" All it does is force you to give your product away if you want to see any return. We had coupons for buy one entree, get one half off, and a couple of other ones as per their suggestions.. the people it brought in were picky, poor tippers who sent everything back and wanted a discount on top of their discount. They drove my servers nuts and worked them for a measly 10% of the discounted total.. We took away the coupons and just used it as an ad, which they warned us against, but the coupons just didn't bring in anyone with the intent to repeat business. In the very very beginning, we explained that we were extremely tight on funds and couldn't start it until later in the month. The salesman said he could accommodate that. Then they charged us 2 weeks earlier than they said they would and overdrafted our account. Before we even went to print, we weren't sure we were going to stay open because of an extreme brash of violence and the area and a hefty dip in sales to follow and we barely had anything left in our business account. We asked if we could back out, again, before the print OR the initial charge. They said they would see what they could do, and then they basically told us tough cookies. They weren't going to cancel it. Then, they charged us early.. Thanks for helping a small business struggle harder! The price tag on this is absolutely not worth it. I'd consider it for maybe $100 a month.. they don't auto renew, but I emailed a few mo ths in asking that it not be renewed upon expiration. read more

Attention! Doctors, Real Estate Agents, Business Owners and any advertiser, when we plan to sign a contract with IndoorMedia (cartvertising), think twice. Unless we plan to spend money to buy a painful experience, read the terms and conditions of the contract and don't sign it. Normally, these terms will be only sent to us after everything else was agreed upon so that we would not pay any attention to it. But the hell is in the terms. Basically, it says they (Distributor) may not perform (they did not perform in our case), but we (Advertiser) still have to pay. In case they did not perform, we can not touch them, and they can hurt us badly and they will. If we want to bring a legal fight with them, according to the terms, there are only courts in one place in the whole United States that can handle it. That means if we are in FL, CA, NY or any cities other than their HQ hometown, we have to fly our lawyers and ourselves to their place for many trips. Let us read through their terms to see how they set up the traps everywhere. #1. They may not perform (in our case, they did not deliver) and they are not liable for the non-performance. The terms writes "Distributor agrees to give its best efforts ... Distributor will not be liable for any failure ... ". They classified almost everyone else in the fulfillment delivery chain as the third parties, so that when they fail to perform, fail to deliver, it would never be their fault. In our case, when we questioned why there was no grocery cart in the grocery store carrying our ads every time we visited the store, they said the mall is a third party and the mall did not manage their carts well. And they are not liable for the non-performance.  #2. Even when they did not perform, we still had to pay. They can reject the contract, transfer our ads to another location. But we can not cancel, even when they did not perform. The terms writes "Distributor reserves the right to transfer advertisement ...", "Distributor reserves the right to reject this contract ..." and "This contract is non-cancellable by Advertiser". In our case, when they did not perform, they said we have to pay no matter what, because it is non-cancellable by the Advertiser (that is us). #3. Even when they did not perform, if we refuse to continue the payment for the remaining time of the contract, we will be sent to the debt collections and a lot of fees/costs will keep adding to our payment due. More importantly, they use a lot of attorneys to collect and add all the attorney fees and collection fees/cost to our payment due. The terms writes "... Advertiser agrees to pay all costs of collection, including reasonable attorney fees." and "... Advertiser agrees to pay a service charge of $10 per month ... $25 ... $44 ..." #4. With all the above unfairness and screw you up, if we decide to have a legal fight, okay, the cost would be HUGE. Because there are only courts in one place in the whole United States that can handle the case. That means if we are in FL, CA, NY or any cities other than their HQ hometown, we have to fly our lawyers and ourselves to their place for many trips. The terms writes "... only a court located in Harris County, Texas shall have jurisdiction to hear such matters ..." Be careful who we are dealing with. This was a HUGE waste of money! We were told our ad would run on the register tapes for 2 local stores, that this type of advertising was extremely successful and we were the only Hair Salon featured. After signing up, we were told that it would actually only run in one local store. We have had a total of 2, yes 2, come in from this ad! The return on our investment is nonexistent! We will take partial blame for not thoroughly researching this company before signing. I see other reviews that could have saved us thousands of dollars! I contacted the company 6 months into this and was told nothing could be done and we were contracted for 12 months. Having to be on automatic withdrawal/payment should have also been a reg flag. STAY AWAY!!! You have been warned. Multiple problems from the beginning and they state they would credit you for the time the advertisement register tape was not in production. I kept copies of all of my complaints, never received resolution and never received any credits. I was the one who had to constantly check at the store to see if the register tape was in. Several times it was not. Then one month I go and check and I see they are issuing expired coupons from the previous quarter. Sent in another complaint - no response. A month later I send another email because after visiting our new store, the supervisor tells me that they haven't had the ad register tapes in over two weeks. Send another email, no response. I finally start calling around until I get a "Rick" to tell me that we would get our monthly fee back and cancellation of contract due to their breach. He said he would have to get back with me on the cancellation. I then get an email that they only guarantee 84 days per quarter - no where on the contract does it state that. Filed a fraud claim, now waiting to see what is going to happen. NEVER again would I ever do business with RTUI at all. I see that they go by different names as well. It is a shame that they are scamming people. I wish I had read the reviews prior to doing business with them. The only person that was on her game was Melissa, the designer. read more

At the bottom of an email, they ask for a Yelp review. Had they not done that, I wouldn't even think of reviewing them cause they suck. Our rep lied to us about the price - of course, he is no longer there. I own a restaurant - why come in during dinner when we are in the kitchen working to discuss this? Why 'bully' us into doing it when we tell you we aren't interested. I can tell you at any given time how many receipts I received and while I got back 12 between February and July that does not mean I got any new customers or additional exposure. The company did not respond to multiple emails. After the contract was signed, they never reached out to contact me again until just barely before the ad went to print and only after I reached out to them multiple times. Half of the contract nothing was being printed. Either way even when it was printed it produced zero results. Indoor Media/ RTUI did not offer to make it right. In fact, we never heard from them to change an ad (which should have been done quarterly) until the end of contract when they want to get on your positive side to resign your life away.
