We recently held our wedding in IABC's Workshop space. We are so satisfied with how the day turned out and how incredible the entire IABC team was to work with. It was more beautiful, fun and meaningful than we ever could have envisioned The drinks were top notch, the room was spacious and beautiful, and, most importantly, the staff made all of our guests feel so special. Thank you to Heather and Nina for partnering with us on this event. You've made us and our 150 guests fans for life!

Outside was really nice, but it was full of people. They had a few covers and with the clouds looking like rain, we decided to go inside. It's a good amount of space. Not a lot of natural light though. We decided to sit at the bar since we wanted to be quick to make it for dinner. So I want to start by saying the bartender was super nice. He talked with us, really funny, and let us try a bunch. I love beer, I tried a handful of the IPAs and even a stout, I just could not get into their beers. They were bitter. The flavor was just not for me. Overall, maybe I would give one more try but I don't think it's my style beer.

Fun & Funky! Great selection of beer! Tried their new fruited sour and it was incredible! It is called Party Flavors!

Awesome craft beer, nice staff, good tasting room. Beer quality: excellent craft beer. We've had several canned beers by Industrial Arts (all excellent), and the draft is even better. The unnamed hazy IPA with peaches was fantastic! Service: friendly, knowledgeable staff Overall cleanliness: excellent Outdoor seating: clean

Industrial Arts makes some amazing beers, and their brewery in Beacon has both their staples and a regular rotation of experimental batches on tap (+ in cans). The draft menu is really impressive, with lots of different styles of beer to try. And their staff are always super friendly and available to talk shop! The Beacon location has a really nice outdoor seating area, with lots of tables for small and large groups. The actual brewery and building give off a modern industrial vibe, in a good way. Plus there was a food truck out front when I went on a weekday afternoon. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area and you are looking for good beer in a quieter setting than the Main Street area!

Industrial Arts was a brewery that Steve and I tried a while back. At first we weren't too impressed with the beers here but the last one we enjoyed quite a bit which was enough to barely scratch by with four stars. We had three different beers with Industrial Arts. One was the NEIPA which was a New England IPA. Not the most memorable of the New England IPA'S we have had from the east coast. It had creamy, smooth features to that weren't entirely bad. Tools of the Trade was the next beer we had, a pale ale and again we just felt like we were going through a unique beer experience. It was kind of average despite the clean, hoppy features to it which I normally really like. Next up was the best beer we had from this brewery, also a New England IPA but a flavor completely different from the other one we had. Yes Farms, Yes Beer was definitely our favorite. This beer had citrus and pineapple notes to it that really turned things around with this experience for us and we enjoyed this last beer immensely! So you may need to try a few different beers with Industrial Arts before you find one you really like. Decor and design is cool too with the sleek and mechanical look to their cans for example makes for an intriguing look if one is an observer to those kinds of things.

If you're in the pursuit of hoppiness, this is the place to be at. I know there are other options beer wise in beacon and I do have to say I have other favorites but I don't want to play the favoritism card. We will focus on Industrial Arts Brewing for today. Their drafts are unbeerlievable. Very hoppy, crisp, smooth and some even funky. As of now, no sours are available but they do have stouts if you're into the dark side. Food: they have like 3 small snack option available so I would just go with their food truck option. They allow you to even bring your own food which is even better. I'd definitely say order some pizza to go and bring it over since there's no better combo than pizza and beer. Seriously. Pricing is great. Space is pretty big for groups in the outdoor area. They have picnic-style benches. Lots of room for your furry friends. Dogs are welcome. Kids too. The best part is honestly the views and the colors going on right now in the fall. Great spot for sunset. Great for big groups. The style is a sit on a bench with a stranger type of thing. Meet people, make new friends, hang out with old ones. Pretty chill. It can get a little "kiddy" if they decide to bring a baseball team full of kids but it's alright. Parents drink, kids play. It works. Again, not my first choice in beacon but definitely a cool spot to come hang with friends. Beer is delish!

This place was pretty cool. It was actually sort of busy when I was here; I stopped by on a weekend. They have really cool artwork outside. And, when you enter the brewery, it looked very contemporary, clean and modern. I would definitely come back here. Even though, there were lots of people here, I was served relatively quickly. I sat at the bar; there wasn't much space but I found a stool. The bartenders seemed very knowledgeable and were very helpful. I would definitely come back here, again.

My husband and I came here and we thought it was a pretty neat spot . It was very large on the inside and really packed as well. The beers were very affordable and they were good as well. I gotten a Wretch and my husband received Metric . Definitely try out those two they are really tasty.

We had a great experience at Industrial Arts! We've been drinking their beer for a long time now, so to visit one of their taprooms was great. The staff was friendly, they had over 15 beers to choose from and all were delicious. We are huge NE ipa fans, which of course they didn't disappoint. Our family likes lighter beers, and they enjoyed their selections too. The atmosphere fits true to their name; industrial and clean! They were kid friendly and our nephew enjoyed playing on the deck with some other kids who brought their toys. Definitely a spot worth frequenting!

State of the Art: Rice IPA. Great beer for non IPA lovers

Happy and bright brewery that has some serious potential as they continue to prepare to be fully operational. There is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors and has a nice sized bar to sit and enjoy a beer or two. The have a very diverse selection, though most tend to represent the IPA families. The bartenders are well versed in their products and can recommend anything to anyone. The food trucks provide an outlet for snacks and the dog friendly atmosphere makes it even better. Hoping to see that they serve wine or something other than beer soon (yes I know its a brewery), but friends with gluten allergies or that dont favor beer were limited to just seltzer or water here. Other than that, pretty cool spot!

It may sound cheesy but it describes exactly the atmosphere of this place, a good time full of friendly people. It's a 2 two story building with plenty of seating. I have been here many a time where the upstairs is rented out for a private event. They also have two outside decks full of tables and chairs which is perfect to sit at when the weather is nice. And trust me when the weather is nice this place is packed!!!! The food here is delicious. In the warmer months they have a pizza food truck that comes. The pizza is sooo good my favorite is one they sell that has a white sauce on it instead of marinara it is delicious. The brewery itself makes small bites and has a few sandwiches that come with a bag of potato chips. They are also good. Last time we came our friends got the meatball sub and it was huge!!! They said it was amazing. They have a great selection of beers including IPAs, Stouts, Sours, and Ciders. I will say this brewery is what kindled my love for Sour beers. They have one that tastes like a red Starburst, so yummy! They also have non alcoholic beer and spirits on their menu. The staff is also friendly. I have seen them frazzled a time or two when it's really busy which is understandable. All in all it's good service both bar tenders and other staff that is working hard cleaning up tables ams sweeping to make sure the tables are ready for the next round of people. Also to note this is not table service. You go to the bar and order your food and either pay there or open a tab. They then bring out your food to you. You can also get beers to take home and other merchandise such as shirts, jackets, and some packaged food items. It very family friendly! Every time I come I see tons of families here, which is nice. Oh and the last thing to note the bathrooms are always clean!!! Which is something I really appreciate about any place that is serving food and drinks.

The day we went they had the World Cup game and they were showing it upstairs. They had a great variety of beers and cocktails but no shots were available and barely any food. The vibe and atmosphere of the place was beautiful. They had an elevator which was perfect for strollers and wheelchairs. I would recommend this place for drinks only. Make sure you eat before you come!

First, the bartender was so lovely! I don't drink so I was truly impressed with the number of non-alcoholic beverage options available. I initially ordered a non-alcoholic drink, but then I saw the Shark Attack Mocktail and asked if I could switch to that. Thankfully I caught her right before she started making the first drink! The mocktail was sooo cute and actually really tasty! (See photo I included). I loved the theme of it, especially as summertime is officially here. Now let's talk about the arcade part of this place! The machines take quarters, so use the ones you have in your pocket! No quarters? No problem! They have a machine that will give you them, however it only accepts $1 and $5 bills. No cash? Also not a problem! They have an ATM on site. They really did think of everything, here! Most of the games are old skool, such as Pac-Man, Pinball, Dance Dance Revolution, etc. They also have a claw machine, however it's rigged so don't waste your time or quarters on it (which is exactly what I did, hahah!). Pac-Man is two players and my husband and I had a lot of fun with that one! I also LOVED Dance Dance Revolution (located in the far left corner in the back, behind the bar area) and wish I had found it before I wasted most of our quarters. Most of the games take anywhere from $0.50 to $1 to play, so keep that in mind. The patio is very large and much quieter compared to inside. I loved the atmosphere with all the string lights! They also have two little seating areas that are gated (which kind of look like adult playhouses?) which I think would be an awesome spot to chill with your friends + your dog. No fear of your pup running off! Regarding food: they do have a small menu, however it's mostly snack items like mozzarella sticks, a giant pretzel, things to that nature. What's cool, though, is that they offer vegan chicken nuggets!! Not a lot of bars have these, so it's definitely worth noting. 11/10 recommend that you stop in here while visiting Beacon! We absolutely loved it and would come back in a heartbeat!

It was founded by husband and wife Johnny Coughlin and Alyssa Follansbee. Coughlin is a cinematographer by trade while Follansbee is a public school art teacher. In 2011, the couple were both living in the Wicker Park area of Chicago. When the Emporium Arcade bar opened in their neighborhood, they both fell in love with the concept of an arcade bar. They later moved to New York City and visited as many arcade bars as they could with the intent to one day open one of their own. By 2018, the couple relocated upstate to Beacon to start a family. It dawned on them that Beacon would be a great location to open a "barcade". The couple didn't just want to open a place for adults to chase the nostalgia of their childhood, but rather a place that the whole family could enjoy. After securing a location on Main Street, and after a short delay from the COVID-19 pandemic, Happy Valley Arcade Bar finally opened to the public. I recently visited Happy Valley with my two sons while we were visiting Beacon. I've loved arcade bars since the first time I visited a Barcade location in 2014. I love sipping on excellent craft beers while enjoying the classic arcade cabinets of my youth. I also appreciate it when arcade bars are family friendly, as both of my sons have also taken an interest in arcade games. We all enjoyed the interior of Happy Valley with all of the crazy colors and spaceship-themed decor on the walls. There was a decent selection of classic arcade cabinets as well as pinball machines, both of which kept my sons occupied for a while. In addition to a nice selection of craft beer on draught, the bar also offers wine, craft cocktails, non-alcoholic options, and various bar bites such as chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, and mac 'n' cheese bites. There were also plenty of seating options both inside and outside. We had already eaten lunch earlier, but I was definitely in the mood for some tasty brews while I played some games. I first enjoyed a Thin Man Brewery's "Pills Mafia" (German Pilsner) followed by an Old Glenham Brewery's "Weaver's Pale Ale" [on cask]. Both of them were flavorful and refreshing. We ended up staying for over an hour; it was nice bonding time for my sons and me. We will definitely stop in again the next time we're visiting Beacon!
