I cannot wait to come back here. Popped in on a rainy day after hiking, I was really impressed with the excellent beer options on tap. Having some of my favorite beer options from the local area / North East (shout out to Mast Landing's Gunners Daughter). Aside from the beer, the tacos here were incredible. They are not lying about the best tacos in town. Although the seating area is on the smaller side, it never felt cramped - it was the perfect spot to spend a few hours this rainy day. As a bonus, the bar tenders were super knowledgeable on the local beer scene. I really enjoyed hearing some of their stories on how certain breweries ended up on tap at Draught Industries. Came here on a Saturday evening for dinner! We had a great experience. Parking can be a little tricky but we were able to find a street spot a couple blocks away. The workers were very friendly and able to give great suggestions. We were able to bring our dog inside which was great. The menu has a variety of tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and other sandwiches that all sound delicious. I decided on the pescado tacos and loved them. This is actually the 2nd time I've been here, and now with my in-laws looking to move to the area, I will be frequenting this establishment many times in the future. Incredible list of local beers to choose from. It you use Untappd, this is quite a gem that doesn't get quite as crowded as other tap rooms in the area. This was my first time having the food and I was very impressed with my gringa al pastor quesadilla. The trio of sauces were great for dipping and some heat on the smokey one! This place is a legit beer lover paradise. The place is long and narrow, very industrial, and cozy at the bar. Don't expect TVs here. I had Al pastor tacos and a beer special, Hill Farmstead. The tacos were legit, but fell apart as I ate them. Don't be shy about using utensils. It's worth the effort. The bartender was very friendly and our food came out at a decent pace. We recently went to Louie's on the Avenue in Pearl River. When I was on their website, I noticed that they said if you are in the Beacon area to check out their other place. We happened to be in the area after going to Sloop. When we arrived, we didn't know that it was the day of the St. Patrick parade so the place was very busy. Service was still really good. They have a large selection of beers on tap. Some that are unique. We ordered the short rib burrito to split. It was delicious, I wish this place was closer so we could eat them more often. The only thing was the sauces on it were extremely spicy. The description didn't say anything about spice. We do not mind spice, so it was okay, but if someone ordered it who dislikes spice they would have had difficulty eating it. read more

Very nice cozy spot. Always a staple to go to whenever we are in the beacon area. Mexican food is always on point and their beers are tasty! Staff always wonderful and welcoming. We called this place and the timing was perfect, there are available spots for 7 people and we make the reservation at once. I loved the inside vibes of the place. I loved more what's on their menu. It has lot of options being said a brewery. The men liked the options for their beers. Each one got a flight. The beer order did not take long as well as the ladies drinks. Seemed everyone was enjoying each drinks as nobody seemed notice some delays on the food. The food was great. Serving size is big that each of the ladies take home their leftovers. I always enjoyed fish taco every Mexican place I go but this place offers a meal. It comes in 2 pieces and with beans and rice as sides. My husband nachos has the kick that he wanted and pretty passed his liking. My other friends seemed like their respective food as I heard no complaints. Music is good. Waitstaff is cool. Location is small and elongated with 2 large long bar tops. Doesn't look like much from the outside, don't let that turn you away. Exposed brick on both sides and a bartender, John, that is very knowledgeable around the beers on tap. I had the only Sour on tap and Amanda had 2 IPA's, one from Louisiana (Ghost in the Machine) and one from Albany (Fidens). Both very good! You could tell the beer lines were clean and they keep their place ready for the day. For food, we ordered 3 sets of tacos to share. Fish, Pork(Al Pastor) and Chicken with 2 sides(rice and beans). Each taco has unique flavor profiles. My favorite was the Al Pastor with the Fish as a close second. Would we come back? Heck yeah! This is certainly an awesome place to eat and drink when you happen to visit the vicinity. Me, my wife and several of my friends just finished a moderately difficult hike around this area and as expected everyone was famished and are ready to eat, even a whole dinosaur. We searched YELP on the possible joints/restaurants that we can go, visited a few places but each place that we go has about 1 hour wait time, seems like we visited this town at the time when the restaurants are so busy, luckily when we called Draught Industries there were seats and a table that just became available, we reserved it and told them that we will be there in 5 minutes. Street parking was challenging at the time of our visit so we just parked at a public parking area about 5 blocks away from this spot. We got to this business place, atmosphere and ambiance was really cool, appealing and cheerful, got seated immediately and was handed the menu list by the friendly, pleasant, sociable wait staff. We ordered, mixed drinks, beer flights, enchiladas, burritos, tacos, nachos and a few more. I noticed the short wait time on the food and drinks that we ordered, portions for each food item was substantial, great tasting beers that they offer, plenty of spirits and beer choices, the food taste excellent, each was a perfect match for all the drinks that we ordered. Staff were cordial, hospitable and very responsive to the needs of their costumers. I specially liked their pumpkin ale (drowned lands) and their nachos which is slightly spicy and had a very good balance in taste from all the ingredients that they combined. Me and my friends were more than satisfied with the food quality, service and cleanliness of this bar restaurant. They have a long table when you walk in, it's great for groups or small couple can use it as well. The bartender is always helpful. They serve Mexican food, the burritos are really good. Not too much seating, though they do have a long communal table up front as well as stools along the bar. Prices are pretty high overall, so opted not to get a full lunch. Decided on one of the draft beers ($9) to go along with some Spicy Guacamole ($14). The guac is topped with cheese and greens, chunky texture and just the right amount of heat. We were on our way to Florida from New Hampshire and were happy to find a nice divey local spot to grab food and libations on our road trip. We've actually stopped in both Newburgh and Beacon a few times on our travels as we always take the Newburgh bridge route to head south vs Tapanzi (or whatever it's called now) or George Washington. What a fun and interesting place to sit for a spell, drink some fine spirits and other libations, and most importantly be fed by creative, tasty menu! Came here for my partners birthday and so when it was time for food we ordered a few things to share. It was nachos with carnitas, chicken bacon ranch pizza and garlic fries! All I have to say is HOLY FOOD OVERLOAD! The food came out quick and as you could see it all tasted as good it looked. The fries were crispy hot and soooooooooo good! The pizza was great! Good for one person or sharing, the nachos were great but my only criticism to it would be not layering the nachos with the wet stuff then putting it under the broiler to heat up the cheese. It became a soggy wet mess in the middle. It's not a deal breaker as they were spicy and flavorful but it was tough to share them when it just became mush and lost that crunchy appeal. The drinks were a plenty and the service was GREAT! All in all I will give them a 4/5 stars and recommend you stop in for a bite or to wet your whistle. read more

I mean, it's a cool bar! Narrow, so maybe not for the claustrophobic though. A phenomenal selection of beer. And the Mexican is solid solid solid. Probably as good as any of the other Mexican in town, and we have Tito Santana which is pretty darned good. I'm not going to opine on current pricing, even though I have to add that it seems that no one is immune to post-pandemic inflationary pressures and Beacon rents, regardless of how small the space is. This little unassuming spot was so much better than we could have asked for! After taking the train up from NYC to hike (8 miles/5.5 hours!) this place absolutely hit the spot. The owner is so nice, and the vibes are fantastic. Don't let the small front door fool you--it's got a lot of bar seating. My partner and I shared the guacamole, and we both got tacos for dinner. They have something for everyone, and the tap appears to rotate regularly. The board was not up-to-date with the actual availability, though, which was a bummer. Our waiter seemed really inconvenienced when I asked for a few small tastes before choosing a drink. It probably happens all the time, but he's going to score the deal in the end. Plus, beer fanatics are encouraged to be picky. Honestly, though, in the end, I was so turned off by our waiter's attitude, that I didn't go for a ~$14 crowler.
