Came upstairs for a WRRV session. Tried some drink, some beverage, and some musical theater. First, the all important food rating: My friend gives high marks for his burger. It's Passover so I couldn't indulge myself but I can vouch the fries are solid potato, not greasy, skins on. All good stuff. But for this special event a number of food items were off the menu that I could have eaten. Beer rating: Up to you because most beers are IPA. Just two brown ales - a light 4.2% and a cherry? was about it. Fortunately they had a special mix of cider and brown ale that went with my meal, but I'm not an IPA guy so this is a little low for me. Finally, the other stuff. Wide open room is nice any day of the week. Friendly and patient service. Great of them to partner to host events like this. Local business - always gets my attention. The verdict: 4 stars to start, I'll have to come back on a regular day to finish this properly.

Went for the octoberfest event. Good size crowd but they had enough staff to manage the food flow a drinks. Not much of a wait. I did try the bratwurst it was good but soaked thru the bed and has too much sauerkraut. Fries were very garlicky... I wasn't mad at it. I got the octoberfest beer which paired well. Newburgh brewery has always been family friendly. This has always been my go to spot whenever I'm around Newburgh area.

The beer, burgers and chicken wings are good. Big disappointment when they promote the FIFA World Cup and you get there and the manager/waiter (with a major attitude)decides not to put the volume on for the games‍ 6/20 Germany game ‍‍ Big beer country.

I am always on the hunt for the best chicken tenders and Buffalo wings wherever I go. Newburgh Brewery did not disappoint. Was it the best chicken tenders? No, but it was good enough and I will definitely go back again and chase it with their own brew of IPA beers. Their Buffalo wings though did not satisfy my criteria of crispy on the outside and tender juicy on the inside. I will definitely come back with my friends for some beers and chicken tenders any time.

Had made a reservation for a group of 7 and had arrived on time. Wasn't too crowded and had a long table waiting reserved for us. We sat down and they explained their table service can which would need to me flipped to green if we were ready to order or red if no service was needed. They had plenty of long tables and high tops. We flipped the can to green and ordered some beers and ordered garlic parm fries. Fries were excellent and so flavorful! Beers were good and they had a great selection for everyone's tastes. The menu had a good variety of food-- typical bar food and some other diff foods. I had selected the empire smash burger and it was juicy and cooked as I had ordered. Service was good and they were all so attentive. We enjoyed our time there and will come back again.

I stopped in to have dinner with coworkers. This building has been repurposed. It has a long history. There is a virtual tour. You can take the tour by scanning the QC code on the menu, sitting on the table. The staff is really friendly. The concept is unique. There is a can on the table, and it's red on one side and green on the other. Flip the green side up for service, red side up for no service. Beer is the big ticket item here. IPA lovers heaven here! There are beer choices that aren't IPA. The menu is decent, and there are a good number of options to choose from. The waiter will ask for your credit card or debit card after you place your order. This is the way your tab is monitored here for customers.

Nope we are very family friendly!!!!

    Are dogs allowed?

Thanks for reaching out! as we operate a full kitchen, unfortunately our local health department…

Can you bring in outside food to consume there?

Since they have a food menu, it would be rude to bring your own food.

Do you require your guests to wear pants?

Obviously, it's a public place. If by pants you mean: is this place dressy? You can come dressed casual, as you would to any brewery.

No complaints whatsoever because this place met and exceeded all my expectations. Honestly, I'm just so excited over a restaurant with a lot of fun, tasty vegetarian options. So often I go to a bar or music venue and all I can choose from are appetizers and maybe a single boring veggie burger. But this place has people like me covered. I can't recommend it enough.

Newburgh, NY - we were directed to eat here by a friend after we visited nearby Motorcyclepedia…read more It's a popular local hangout, and the vibes immediately strike me as: if this were my neighborhood watering hole, I'd be a regular here. The decor alone earns a star: rock n roll ephemera covers every surface - walls, ceiling, shelves and display case - and takes me back to the days when I went to "shows" and not "concerts." There's even a small stage in the corner for live music, so that definitely checks out. Our friendly server Dianne hands us menus printed on newspaper, and I needed a moment to decide between the large selection of comfort food classics with creative variations on a theme - burgers, sandwiches, salads, mac & cheese, chilis & soups, burritos, wraps, fajitas, rice bowls, and specialty entrées - finally settling on some apps and a burger to share with my kiddo (which I'm told are good here), while our friend went for a steak bowl. There's a surprisingly large vegan and vegetarian section. Surprising because I haven't come across many veggie-forward pubs that offer anything more than a perfunctory Beyond Burger/black bean burger and an anemic salad. Here, they actually respect the non-carnivore's right to have some decent choices. The "hot" wings are alright and not really hot (though admittedly my spice sensors are likely eroded from my intense affinity for heat), but the poutine was a standout, which we ordered with bbq pork add-on. And while it won't quite pass muster in Montreal (tbh I've rarely had authentic poutine in the US despite seeing it on menus a lot - the cheese curds are never right), it was piping hot and delicious. The revelation was the twisty cut potatoes underneath, seriously additive! I love places with heart, which isn't always easy to define but the effort can be discerned in the atmosphere and the details. The Wherehouse has got that spirit & essence. With 16 rotating draft lines featuring regional brews, and substantial food offerings that far outpaces the typical bar menu, it's a down-to-earth dining establishment with the soul of a dive bar, that makes you feel welcomed like a local from the get-go.

First, the bartender was so lovely! I don't drink so I was truly impressed with the number of non-alcoholic beverage options available. I initially ordered a non-alcoholic drink, but then I saw the Shark Attack Mocktail and asked if I could switch to that. Thankfully I caught her right before she started making the first drink! The mocktail was sooo cute and actually really tasty! (See photo I included). I loved the theme of it, especially as summertime is officially here. Now let's talk about the arcade part of this place! The machines take quarters, so use the ones you have in your pocket! No quarters? No problem! They have a machine that will give you them, however it only accepts $1 and $5 bills. No cash? Also not a problem! They have an ATM on site. They really did think of everything, here! Most of the games are old skool, such as Pac-Man, Pinball, Dance Dance Revolution, etc. They also have a claw machine, however it's rigged so don't waste your time or quarters on it (which is exactly what I did, hahah!). Pac-Man is two players and my husband and I had a lot of fun with that one! I also LOVED Dance Dance Revolution (located in the far left corner in the back, behind the bar area) and wish I had found it before I wasted most of our quarters. Most of the games take anywhere from $0.50 to $1 to play, so keep that in mind. The patio is very large and much quieter compared to inside. I loved the atmosphere with all the string lights! They also have two little seating areas that are gated (which kind of look like adult playhouses?) which I think would be an awesome spot to chill with your friends + your dog. No fear of your pup running off! Regarding food: they do have a small menu, however it's mostly snack items like mozzarella sticks, a giant pretzel, things to that nature. What's cool, though, is that they offer vegan chicken nuggets!! Not a lot of bars have these, so it's definitely worth noting. 11/10 recommend that you stop in here while visiting Beacon! We absolutely loved it and would come back in a heartbeat!

Between the delicious food, outstanding service, and breathtaking views of the Hudson River and the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge, it's always a great experience. The staff is consistently friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The servers know the menu well and are happy to make recommendations, making every visit feel relaxed and enjoyable. One of our favorite times to visit is for their weekend brunch buffet, which offers a great variety of options. During the week, their Happy Hour (4-7 PM) is another favorite, especially the $1 oysters. It gets busy, so I definitely recommend arriving early. Just keep in mind that Happy Hour is available only in the bar and lounge area. The restaurant is clean, has a spacious parking lot shared with the neighboring restaurant, and offers a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the river during the warmer months. We went for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how attentive the service was. The setting alone is quiet, scenic, and relaxing, adding to the experience feeling special. We're particular about cocktails, and the specialty drinks leaned a bit sweet and light for our taste, but switching to a Grey Goose martini solved that quickly. The standout of the meal was the special appetizer, the Lobster Escargot. Between the bread service and the rich, bisque-like sauce layered over the classic preparation, I could have happily ended the meal right there. We left no trace behind. I followed with the crab cake and wedge salad. The crab cake was generously sized, very fresh, and exactly what I hoped for. My husband ordered the branzino, which was absolute perfection, beautifully cooked and full of flavor. The sides, however, were less memorable; the smashed potatoes and green beans felt under-seasoned and a bit boring compared to the rest of the meal. Overall, it was a lovely anniversary lunch with memorable dishes and a beautiful view.
