As a former contractor, I understand full well that things happen, mistakes occur. I try not to publicly condemn a small business until they've had a chance to remedy the problem. In the case of ACE PRESSURE WASHING, LLC - I feel obliged to let others know what we have experienced. On June 19th we hired ACE to soft wash our house. After less than 2 hours, they claimed to be finished. The house was still dirty in several areas. When I complained, I was told to speak with George, the sales rep. His initial response was to try to convince me that during the initial consult, he wiped the side of our house and said that "This all isn't going to come off". That was a complete lie. If so, why would we agree to pay $730 for an incomplete job???? Not only was our house not cleaned as promised, but we ended up with water streaming down on the inside of our windows and Water flooding into the side door on our garage. AT LEAST THREE OF OUR WINDOWS ARE DAMAGED AND NEED TO BE REPLACED. (one is barely 1 year old) The soap they used has left STREAKS ON OUR SIDING that has not come off after three washings. As soon as we notified ACE of the problems with our windows and siding, CRICKETS. A couple days later, the owner of the company AARON LUTHI texted me and asked to come by the house the next day. We agreed, hoping we would get some satisfaction. Instead, he cancelled our appoint 1/2 hour after he was supposed to arrive. I have not heard from him since, even though I have texted twice and left a VM with the office. STILL CRICKETS. I sent an email, outlying the issues requesting that ACE contact us with 10 days. I followed up with a certified letter that they received yesterday. STILL CRICKETS. The bad news is that the State of Oregon no longer requires pressure washing companies to be licensed by the Construction Contractors Board, which means they can no longer be held responsible for their shoddy work without going to court. We are hoping it doesn't come to that - but fully prepared to do so. The one thing I can do is warn others.

The thing I like about Mossbusters is they don't just knock off the big pieces of moss from your…read moreroof and apply the moss inhibitor powder like the rest but they actually take care of 99% of the moss. When they finished the job, I could see only very tiny moss on my roof, but it was very very small. That's what sold me on them. You get immediate results after the cleaning rather than having to wait on the moss inhibitor powder from kicking months down the road. Having said that their prices were in line with 3 of 4 quotes I had gotten and I was able to call someone on the phone and ask several questions that they did a great job answering. The only issue I had was that they had to come back to my house two more times to get the job done right. The first time they had a miscommunication with my gutters that was stated in my quote but wasn't done, so they came back and did it. I managed to catch them where they weren't that far away. The second time, was because I requested it because they missed washing a gutter and the ends of my gutter on my dormer were not quite clean. I took pics and sent it to them for proof. They did call me back the next day and apologized and had someone come over in the afternoon to clean the missed gutters and double check all gutters. They did clean all the debris quite well, in fact it looked better than when they started. I really appreciated that. Roof looks great, gutters look great and I'm satisfied, however I was told I would get before and after pics and it's been a few days so far and I have not gotten any pics. I would use them again but definitely recommend double checking their work to make sure nothing was missed.

This guy is not only good at what he does, but he provides excellent service on top of it. I had a property that needed immediate help in clearing items out. Since I don't live in the area, time is of the essence for me when trying to get things done. I had looked up Junk Busters on Yelp and they were my first phone call. Within 15 minutes, Lucas called me back to get an assessment of the situation. After texting and emailing some initial photos, he was able to give me an immediate quote. It wasn't the cheapest quote but certainly not the most expensive either. The other services who charged less, also told me it would take them longer (several days) to do the job that he noted he could do in a day. For a per hour job, it was $45 + $15 day for gas. Dump fees would be paid by me but the hourly rate included his truck, tools, and his labor, all of which is accompanied by an 8 hour minimum. What's more impressive is that he was in the middle of a haul when he was consulting with me; talk about multi-tasking. He came over the next day and like a New Yorker, he kept it super real with me. He gave me advice on getting rid of certain items and was extremely kind throughout the process. I wouldn't hesitate to hit up Lucas again to clear out a place and would recommend his services to anyone.

We moved into the house a year ago and had pretty much done nothing to maintain the landscaping that had been done prior to the sale, so you can imagine the state it was in. Lucas offered to come the next day and give us a free estimate, walking through everything we'd want done and giving us a very fair price estimate right away. It took us a few weeks to sort out the right time to do it but Lucas was always willing to answer any questions that came up (like: "how much would it be if we did this and didn't do this" type questions all of us non-millionaires end up having). He communicated professionally and clearly, always arrived on time, and his work was phenomenal - thorough and with obvious attention to detail. We received an in-person quote on the same day we first contacted them, and were scheduled to have the work done the next day! Two workers removed the majority of the moss and debris, then treated the remainder (which should fall off in about 7-8 months). They also cleaned out our dirty gutters and, best yet, cleaned off our house, windows and walkways/driveway/deck of all the nasty debris that came off the roof (and there was a ton of that!) Very hard working, nice, professional workers were here for 7 hours. Great job for a fair price, and the moss removal came with a multi-year warranty if any moss were to reappear.
