I've had powder coating done at a few different places over the years, and this shop is on a completely different level. The quality is consistently excellent -- clean work, even coverage, no shortcuts, and you can tell they actually know what they're doing. What really sets them apart is how accommodating they are. They've fit me in last minute more than once, and I've been incredibly lucky to have parts turned around in an hour or two when timing lined up and they were already running a batch. I don't expect that for everyone, but the fact that they're willing to work with you when they can says a lot. Pricing is more than fair. Honestly, other shops would've charged two, three, even four times as much for the same small parts -- and the results still wouldn't come close to what I get here. I've done "package deals" elsewhere and the quality wasn't even in the same conversation. Fast, fair, and top-tier workmanship. Charles and his guys did an amazing job sand blasting and powder coating some old iron furniture that we recovered from my mother in laws home that was destroyed by the Eaton Canyon fire. A friend had numerous pieces of yard furniture damaged by the Palisades fire. I saw all the great reviews that look like actual reviews and brought over 8 pieces for sand blasting and powder coating. They all look amazing - great dark grey color, very consistent finish that looks thick and like it will last forever. Charles advised of possible risks with bubbling up front and tested one piece which came out great, so, we went with the whole batch. I can't say I shop for powder coating services but the prices seemed very reasonable. I have some lamps where the bases have tarnished over the years. I'll check with Charles to see if he can also help out on these. This place is near In N Out headquarters. I believe In N Out has a museum open Thursday through Saturday (or Sunday). It took 4 days for them to finish powder coating my bumper, when I picked it up I like the way they wrapped the whole bumper with bubble wrap to prevent any damage, Alfonso was really careful while loading the C4 front bumper into my pick up truck. Asked a lot of my friends if they knew professionals that did powder coating on rims, and what do ya know?? One of my friends referred me to this location. It was perfect for me because it's only a few miles away from me! My friend told me to speak to Charles, as they've known each other for awhile and mentioned to me I'd be in great hands. Long story short, I got stuck with G35 rims and had them painted pink (it was a phase!!), then cleaned off the pink by using acetone, then plasti dipped them white.... all because I was too lazy to get them professionally done because I didn't have spare tires or a spare car to drive around! Luckily my bf is so sweet to me that he helped me drop off my rims to Charles and drove me around from then on! It only took a couple business days for them to complete it and it looked BRAND SPANKING NEW. I previously had some little marks and dings on my rims and they were able to sand them down and paint over them. One was almost impossible to cover up, as Charles mentioned to me it was too deep. But they were able to do it!!! It came out so smooth, so brand new looking that I didn't want to even use my rims anymore. I wanted to keep them away because they were so CLEAN! Everyone here helped a lot with any questions I had, they explained the process vey thoroughly and the pricing was just right. I actually expected more but I'm extremely happy with the outcome. Read the reviews of this company and decided to try them out. When I arrived with my motorcycle parts that I wanted gloss black power coated, Alfonso greeted me right away. I told him wut I wanted and asked some questions, he looked over my parts, photographed and inventoried them for both our protection and gave me a 3-5 day eta on completion. Alfonso was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable about the process. Then a couple days later I brought in a few more parts and again Alfonso was right there to help me, said he will try to get them done with the first set...well guess wut, they were and looked as if I bought them right from harley davidson and the parts were bubble wrapped to prevent any damage. it took a couple days for me to install them but once I did I was even more impressed with the quality, shine and durability of the coating...because I did bang a few parts intalling them and I just knew they were gonna be scratched but nope, that coating is as strong and hard as teflon! the parts I had coated were the fender supports, curved license plate, tail light, engine guard, inner fairing supports, the gas tank console and the saddlebag lock covers and latches that open the bags. I am usually pretty upset when lied to, but not when recieving my product back a week and a half ahead of schedule. Shop already looked engulfed with much larger more important orders compared to my 2 small pieces. There was no doubt in my mind i was going be put to the side and left to wait till they had the chance to take my items, but no less than 3 days and i get the phone call. Work is ok. Been here a couple of times. Seems to get progressively worse. Damaged powder coating on a part and told me "its the side that doesn't show".....Never gives a receipt; just calls when parts are done. Give you one price when dropped off.
