Had a great experience with a silver powder coat on a set of 2005 Camry 16" factory wheels…read more I got a set of throwaway wheels on Facebook Marketplace intended as a gift for my mom's old car. The wheels were in pretty bad cosmetic shape - dings, scratches, brake dust everywhere, peeling paint galore, and some pitting on the back for one of them. After Proper Motion finished my powder coat they came out spectacular. You can also clearly see all the factory Toyota markings on the back despite the years of obvious neglect. The worst wheel still had some of the pitting come through only in the back, but that was the original wheel's problem so kind of expected for a 21-year-old wheel. I didn't ask them to file it down (which would've removed probably too much material), so I'm still thrilled with the final results. I guess I visited their newer shop in Sante Fe Springs. They had a clean and neat front lobby and a cozy waiting lounge with couches. I just dropped off the wheels, so didn't get to take full advantage of the lobby. I asked for pricing over the phone before coming, and once I arrived everything was still as quoted, even with the poor condition of my wheels. They had lots of sample swatches and a few miniature wheels as demos, but I wanted a lighter silver to match the factory paint. They were super helpful and special-ordered the matching powder / paint for no additional cost. I just had to wait a few days for the order. Overall would highly recommend.

MY REPLY: These are true forged wheels brother, try again. If you remember this, why don't you tell…read moreme what kind of car I was driving? Don't go here. It's not about the bad job done, it's about the lying and failure to answer requests for help. Bad jobs happen, there's nothing wrong with that. But not trying to right your wrong is a sin. REPLY FROM LYING OWNER: These wheels had really bad casting marks so we stripped them, primered them, and powder coated them. perhaps the primer was added too thick to try and erase the casting marks ORIGINAL REVIEW: Garbage. Wheel was never stripped of the original coat and has way too much PC on it now. Wheel is slowly leaking air. Also, they somehow damaged my original custom black TPMS sensor and replaced it without telling me. Even for the price, it's garbage. They have plenty of business, they could be a bit more honest.

I bet you thought my GTI had just been finished by Adolfo... nope. The picture of the side of the…read morecar below was taken 4 years later since he did it. (I took this picture 3 days ago). Ya, 4 years later and it looks like this... Adolfo is like me: perfectionist with extreme detail in what he does. I had full PPF with added ceramic coating. He helped me with how to take care of it: foam cannon first, thorough rinse (no contact yet), two bucket wash method, drying with electric air blower (less physical contact with PPF), final dry with a microfiber of very good quality that was never taken out of its plastic cover before use (no debris on rag). Sometimes at this step using a ceramic Geon quick detailer (but not too much or too often as it builds up). Basically he won't just do the work and send you on your way. He will make sure you can maintain it. The PPF does have a self correcting layer in case of light scratches but I still like the long, thorough way of washing it. Note: he does offer a ceramic coating refresh I did a year ago. Note: the picture of the water drops was taken 4 years ago or so after the original work was done. I wanted to throw that picture in to show the extreme water beading of a quality job. Thanks for great great work!

He puts artistry and passion into each car he works on, which you can tell by the immaculate condition of his own cars in the shop. I live over an hour away in LA, but I haven't minded the trip when I've needed PPF or ceramic reapplication. Gonna come back for tint, and I know I'm going to leave 100% satisfied.
