What I appreciated I'm grateful that Tom Wood Toyota reached out for a second chance and worked with me to address the issue. Their willingness to re-test and re-evaluate shows a commitment to customer service and safety. What I would have valued more: Earlier transparency about the possibility that a spill could affect the seatbelt system. If this had been mentioned during the initial service call, it could have saved us time, grief, and their money. At one point, the dealership returned the vehicle to my home without my consent and left the keys in my mailbox. I still hadn't received documentation or any formal warranty. My trusted mechanic later confirmed that the brakes were dangerously low and the rear suspension needed major repairs--issues that should have been caught before sale. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue respectfully and through the proper channels, including the Indiana Attorney General's office, I was eventually offered $4,000 on the condition that I stay silent and withdraw all complaints. I continue to sit & finally I just spoke to the air "Oh you going to sit there & act you don't see me" then Kristen came out & said she didn't know that I was there. They weren't busy & the other guys saw me but no one addressed me. My feeling on my experience I felt ignored & then blamed for the paint coming off my car & she refused to try & make things right. Blamed Blake for telling me about the recall said he was a new hire (guess he didn't know what he was talking about) said she hadn't heard about the recall. I thought Kristen was a nice, warm, caring person & yesterday I realized she just another salesperson SNAKE who will do anything to make the sale to get her commission & then YOU DON'T MATTER.
