Yes, this is a great local business with products you won't find elsewhere on the island, however, customer service is lacking. Like others have said, the owners are very unfriendly and not helpful. Back in town, on business, for just a few days. Stopped in at the recommendation of the local gym and it was a great recommendation. I opted for the Rooster & Hen vanilla smoothie: vanilla protein, coffee, banana, chai, honey and flax. Just what I needed after a heavy powerlifting session. Yes, it was $7.29 but for high quality ingredients, friendly counter staff and the macros I needed post-lifting, I think it's worth it. read more

I've recently had surgery and due to required meds, can't sleep. I'd been up all night and dragged myself into Inergy for some help. Was greeted so warmly and the owner helped find me the supplements I needed while her husband made me a peanut butter protein drink. I am now sleeping through the night and have two new friends! I was so thrilled to find this spot in Oak Island / Southport area! We live in SoCal but come to Southport to visit my in-laws every Christmas, and I only wish I found this place sooner. It's always great to have a little healthy "break" from holiday heavy foods. I had "The Charles" smoothie (coffee, choc protein powder, and pb) and a sample of the Swamp smoothie (I think that's what it was called, it was a green smoothie with mango) and both were delicious. Also was cool to see they carried other healthy speciality foods like Bitchin Sauce, probiotics and to-go smoothie packs. I will be coming here every time we are in town!! read more

I adored this little store and all of the quality items they sell.It has a great lag out and a wide variety of items. I went in looking for a specific product. The owner was there and I cannot say she was unfriendly. But...she was not friendly. I asked her questions and it was like pulling teeth for a good answer. She would say bare minimum and no other conversation. Then, a regular came in and she was at talkative as can be. It was really off putting. I would love to shop here if I am in town but I didn't not feel welcome. I am sure I would go back and try a protein shake if I had to. They do carry products like ear candles and local made jewelry and products. Great store just needs more friendliness. read more

Yay, happy to find a health store on the island! They make coffees, and smoothies on site. I did not have one as the sole purpose of this trip was to buy a pre-workout supplement. Thankfully they had it! Would love to come back and try a coffee. They sell a great variety of other items including a selection of refrigerated health foods, olive oil, coconut oil, a few products by Drs Bragg, sunscreen, local kombucha and handmade jewelry. They also sell OKI etched souvenir pint glasses. I should have taken a picture, sorry! They close at 2:00 on Saturday so be sure to check store hours. I barely made it in today before closing time. The proprietors were in the store doing inventory and restocking. They were friendly and ready to be helpful. read more

This is the hidden gem on Oak Island. I was looking online for a breakfast spot and stumbled upon Inergy. I decided a smoothie would be much better than the other greasy starch heavy breakfast options on the Island. It turns out it was. The ingredients were all organic and no sugar added. I enjoyed sipping on my smoothie while looking at the rest of the market. They also have local kombucha, so I bought some of that to take home for later. I was surprised by the amount and of selection of frozen foods they offered too. I brought back some tea, unsweetened lemon sparking water, superfood popcorn and a nut bar too. read more

My wife and I have been vacationing in Oak Island Resltor the last seven years. We found this wonderful store in the owners Shawn and Steph. Great people very family oriented with excellent products. Their coffee is simply the best. My wife makes me get up every morning and go buy coffee from them. The selection of health products is the same here as it is in Columbus Ohio.
