Hi, Today, January 19th, around 6pm I dropped in at your store. I went in and tried calling for someone thinking you were open. It wasn't until after I called the non emergency number that I realized the sign was off and after checking your Facebook I confirmed that you closed at 4pm. Anyways your door was left open. I stayed as long as possible waiting for the fire department. However, I had to get going so I am not sure how long they took to arrive. read more

Everyone that works here is honest and helpful. I've come here multiple times with questions and they've always been able to point me in the right direction, or to answer me honestly (which also includes saying "I don't know" or referring me to purchase items online or from somewhere else, because their first priority is a happy, healthy aquarium and customer). I always appreciate how patient they are and how they are willing to go the extra mile. I've been to other stores around the area, and no one else has been as informative or as patient. WE LOVE the staff at Infinite Aquarium! They truly love and appreciate marine creatures! We've probably gone to see Jimmy more than we go to our jobs! This place is amazing!! With so many selections of fish, plants - under and above water, snails, tanks, and other equipment - you can spend such a long time at the store but you won't be bored. There's also a giant eel named Milo by the front to say greetings to and Larry the fish inside an old TV frame straight on from the counter. Some of my favorite fish are kuhli loach, panda loach, panda garra, all of the different gobys, pea puffers, mud skippers, etc. They also have an excellent variety of shrimps of all (most) colors. The jelly shrimps are neat colors and super healthy. Customer service is also the best so trust you'll be in great hands and care if you need any recommendations or need help for that beautiful tank with happy babies. read more

Jimmy was awesome! After about a year of having a failed 10 gallon tank.. we were scratching our heads wondering WHAT the heck could be wrong. We had tetras.. Mollies... panda corys.. shrimp.. everything that should have been ok in our tank. pH levels.. everything was good and we went to multiple aquariums wondering if the fish they were selling us happened to be sick. This guy figured it out within minute of meeting us (it was our water temperature lol). I'm surprised NONE of the other aquariums could figure this out and instead just tried to sell us more fish.......... Jimmy knows what the's doing. He's had the shop for 9 years and has been working with fish for 22. Extremely knowledgeable and all around cool guy. So glad we were referred by a friend to this place. Smaller aquarium than we're used to but great selection for freshwater fish. There's a lot of apartments nearby so the clientele mostly get smaller, freshwater fish from what I understand. We ended up getting a few ember tetras and a yoyofish. I can't wait to come back in a week and get more fish. THANK YOU JIMMY! read more

My go-to aquarium store. Great selection with ideal prices and knowledgeable and friendly staffs. I've been going here since I started dabbling in freshwater tanks and has not been disappointed since :) They recently went from both saltwater and freshwater to strictly freshwater and the growth is amazing to see. Follow them on Facebook, they update their shipment list weekly and you can always shoot them a message to check the stock. The owner Jimmy and Steve are so helpful whenever I have questions or need advice. Great people really, wasn't judgy at all when i asked them what they meant my water parameters XD I got all my shrimps from them and they have since well... let's say i can't count them all anymore :D 10/10 read more

What a cool place. We went on a Saturday and it was SRO - standing room only. There was only one person working there and a line of people with questions, and he handled each one with patience and knowledge and was very friendly. The tanks all looked in good shape, they had a nice selection of plants, aquarium accessories and of course, fish. It's located in the back of the complex next to the Togo's so there was plenty of parking. easy to get to. we will be going back. read more

What went well? Everything! We visit Infinite Aquarium frequently. We've gotten several Paska's blue-eyes (Paskais) here. They all came home healthy and eventually well enough to breed. We've also brought home a healthy hillstream loach without problems. The owner and employees are all quite nice! They're kind enough to have a friendly conversation, and you can ask for good advice including living conditions for different species of fish and invertebrates. They've also got a good selection of natural rocks and driftwoods for decor! read more

I like to compare this store to Superway Aquarium because they are, quite frankly, the two best locations for anyone getting into the hobby-- such extremely great services on both ends. This store, specifically, stands out for its abundant selection of live plants and shipments of livestock. They sell community-trained betta fish, that can co-exist peacefully with other tankmates. Have never found another fish store that does this. I brought a halfmoon betta from them that lived peacefully with six tetras, a red cherry shrimp colony, and a clown pleco in a heavily-planted 20g for all his life. (All the tankmates were from Infinite Aquarium too.) My friends and I have been coming here for years. They're great at responding to all your questions, by phone or over Facebook. Their selection of driftwood/plants/fish is great and changes over time. read more

They completely revamped the place! It look's completely new with all the rescaping. My partner and I frequent this store every weekend, either for our fish keeping needs, to sell our snails, or just to look at their stock. Let me just say that in the South Bay this is the best aquarium store bar-none. I have been to virtually every single one of them, and this is the only place I frequent on a regular basis and make referrals for other hobbyists to visit. Support a great local business that cares! Everyone I've referred has come back - and that means something. PRICING - They have the most competitive prices from shrimp to fish to plants that I've seen here. SERVICE - So friendly. Every person here genuinely cares and you can tell that because it's the only store where you'll almost always see a regular in the store. I've seen them take their time to explain things to new hobbyists and people that have questions. I've never felt I'm in a rush, and more importantly, questions are always answered clearly from experience. HEALTH - Tons of healthy fish! They're great with maintenance, tanks are in good condition, with very little livestock dead/uncleaned. One last thing - this place just feels like home. When I walk in, it feels like I'm seeing old friends and everyone's more than happy to help out. You'll know it when you visit for the first time - but the energy in the store's unique, and that's largely due to the great staff and regulars that come by often. read more

Infinite Aquarium has consistently healthy fish and a very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Although it is a long drive for me, I won't buy fish from anywhere else. I have been using Infinite Aquarium for my aquarium needs for years. A recent experience prompted this review. My fish tank is an old, hexagonal, 12-gallon with a hood that holds the light. The quite-old T5 Aqua-Glo bulb went out. T5 bulbs are being phased out, and the only T5 bulb I could buy was "Daylight," which caused my tank to look monochromatically green, including my white skirt tetras! I did not want to have to buy a new tank because of a lightbulb! After much internet research and visiting PetCo and PetClub who tried to help, I called Infinite Aquarium. Steve was SO helpful! He wondered if I "would be open to" covering the hood opening with glass or acrylic and upgrading to an LED light option that he recommended for my tank size (the Twinstar B Line.) He said that I could come in and see how it looked with their tanks if I wanted, so in I went. (After my monochromatically green experience, I wanted to SEE the light in action!) The light looked great! I bought it and stopped by Michael's on my way home to buy an 8" x 10" piece of acrylic to cover the tank's hood hole to set the light on. My tank has never looked so beautiful! Every time I look at it, I want to thank Steve for his expertise and help. An added bonus: Infinite Aquarium's price for the recommended light was cheaper than Amazon's. I HIGHLY recommend this store. read more

I've already reviewed this shop, just want to boost them again with another 5-star review. If you're an aquarium hobbyist, this is your dream operation... friendly, knowledgeable folks, a vast array of healthy fish, information provided, and no snobbery. I was just there and impressed by the selection of some rare species... I think some were even breeding on site. If you're a novice just getting into the basics, this is also a great place to start. All their Bettas are in proper tanks with aeration, not wasting away in plastic cocktail cups. (we see you Petco, Petsmart) These guys are freshwater specialists. Their prices are on point, and it's fun just to look around even if you aren't ready. Great staff. 5 stars all around. read more

I can't necessarily compare this to more professional places since this is more like a mom n pop shop kinda fish store. Knowing this, I did walk in with less of an expectation. A lot of the tanks weren't really well kept and when I went to go and buy a pygmy corydora, the guy helping me scooped up a fish and dropped it on the ground. I give him props for not freaking out in front of a customer but it wasn't a good taste in my mouth. There was a whole community tank with a bunch of dead fish on one end which was sad. Not an expert by any stretch of imagination but I had many different types of fish before and have some idea on pricing. The service was very good and the gentleman who helped me was extremely knowledgeable, namely which fish I chose might or might not be "fish food" for my rope fish at home.
