This is evident by Dr.Quinn targeting certain muscles to find problematic areas that could be the cause of pain or discomfort in the body. I initially was quite nervous coming in, considering I've been experiencing shoulder pain for the past few weeks, though she gently reassured me throughout the session to allow her to do the "work," while I simply focused on breathing and relaxing. Immediately, Dr.Quinn found problematic areas, and rooted her way through the muscles gently to bring my back, shoulders, and neck in proper alignment. She provided a thorough explanation of what my muscles were doing which I incredibly appreciated as I work in the medical field. And oh how amazing did it feel. This was the most worth, 90 minute session, as I came out more knowledgeable of what my body was doing, as well as with a huge exhale of feeling more light and upright than when I came in. I haven't shared my health struggles with many people, because I just don't like to complain. I know everyone has struggles with things and I am no exception. But, I told myself that if this worked, I would shout it from the rooftops So here we are. I had a number of complications after having August. Once I was able to leave the hospital, the issues slowly continued. Over the next six months, they began to be unbearable. I was constantly in horrible pain & felt sick 15-20 days out of the month. Some days I couldn't even get out of bed. I wasn't able to enjoy the life I had waited so long to have. After countless Doctor visits, tests, scans and MRI's. I was told I had multiple issues, including Endometriosis. I had heard of it, but had no clue what it really was and that almost 7 million women deal with this diagnosis. It was a literal hell. I was told I would need major surgery and that wouldn't even be a 100% fix. I decided to try another route. After much research I found Oasis Women's Clinic. I was met with more empathy and kindness than any Doctor I've ever had. She assured me that she could have me feeling better with weekly visits using traditional Chinese acupuncture and herbal medicine. Each week I felt better and better. Rebecca is the real deal!!! I started seeing her back in February of this year. I had a miscarriage…read morea year before in May. Then my husband and I decided to hold off on trying for a baby because I needed surgery to remove my left Fallopian tube and some endometriosis. Fast forward to February of 2022, we became pregnant but I had my second miscarriage. I felt so hopeless and afraid. I started doing research on doctors, acupuncturists, herbs, supplements, etc. While seeing Rebecca, I was also seeing an infertility specialist who ran a full panel of tests to see if there was a reason as to why I was miscarrying. From February until about July we were instructed by our doc to hold off on trying until we received our tests back. In the meantime, Rebecca helped prepare my body for conception. I was given herbal teas weekly to drink. We did acupuncture sessions once a week. She tailored each session to how I was feeling that week. Bad migraine? Okay we will focus on that and do acupuncture in the areas that we're experiencing pain. Feeling extra crampy or pain in pelvis? We did extra work in the pelvic region and she would adjust the teas according to how I felt. I will also mention, that even though we were preparing my body for conception, Rebecca was also working on my endometriosis pain. My pain was usually at about an 8-9 every time I had a period. I even had horrible pain when I wasn't menstruating. A few months in, I noticed my pain had substantially gotten better. My periods were at a about a 4, which was honestly unheard of for me. In July, I was given the okay by my doc to try again since all my tests came back normal. In September, I found out I was pregnant again. I was terrified, but Rebecca always seemed confident and was always optimistic about it. This pregnancy was definitely different than my previous two, as in I felt symptoms pretty much instantly and because I didn't bleed at all, which with the other two I did. I honestly attribute that to the help of Rebecca and the practice of Chinese medicine. I was so skeptical, but here I am today writing this and I'm 15 weeks. Not only is she great at what she does, her presence is calm and she makes you feel like you're a good friend of hers.
