So if everyone hasn't heard from us in the while it's most likely because since October we have been dealing with home renovations. Infinity Water Systems flooded our house due to installing a water filter set up incorrectly. We have just gotten to a finishing point with the home reno, and then I had to contact them regarding damages to furniture during the flood. I was stupid and decided to be reasonable and told them I'll help them out and not mention the unique one of a kind wood pieces that were damaged and just focus on items I can't replace myself. This amounted to about 6000 in damages. Believe it or not, they refused to pay that amount. So, again, stupidly, I compromised with them and say 4500 is our final offer to walk away from this peacefully. This covers a new rug, a new massage chair the remediation company could not salvage, and 200 dollars for carpet cleaning services. They still came back 1000 dollar under and said that's their final offer. They mentioned to the BBB they have bent over backwards for me on getting the home repaired, and they can't pay anymore than $3500. I'm sorry but how am I at fault for these damages? Had my home not been flooded at their hand, I wouldn't be compromising and taking a loss for the furniture that was affected/damaged. They claim that I cannot provide proof that the items were in working order prior to the flooding incident. Well jeez, I wasn't thinking I needed to document all my furniture's condition anticipating that they would flood my house! You've been warned. UPDATE: I'm not feeling bad for you that you're stressing over a 20k repair bill when it was your guy who did this to us. Who else did you expect to pay? And in what world did you think that that you're not liable for furniture damages? WHAT THIS OWNER IS NOT TELLING YOU: I have provided proof that my items are in working order by an official letter from our moving company. Why would I want you to pay for a broken chair? Did you think the public will believe an owner of a near 400k house would care to nickle and dime you over a broken chair?? We just want to hold you accountable for what you caused. read more

The tech said if the Softener System starts to have issues he recommends replacement. Infinity is the worst company that I came across. They don't care about customers and the way they respond to customers is too bad. I have water softener with Infinity and it was replaced last year, filter was replaced few months back and the technician did not fix filter properly and it started leaking and messed up the wood under the sink. I called the customer service and they were so rude while communicating and mentioned that I have to pay $179.99 service fee to come, check the problem and give quote to fix it. Does it make sense? It was their filter and changed by them. Not at all recommended. read more

Scam!!!! They sold us the "latest and gratest" AquaKinetic water softener 2 weeks ago and it's not worth a thing. We requested our money back and they said it's been more than 3 days, so no $! Better Business Bureau complaint #15609930. Please see the text and picture of the inside of the tank in my complaint to Better Business Bureau A text was send to Infinity water on September 7, 2018 after reporting the standing water problem inside the salt tank. I have save this text on my phone. Now the Infinity water is saying this problem is due to freeze which happened in February 2021. After the freeze one of their more knowledgeable technician came to perform other repairs. He pointed out that the standing water problem is due to the float assembly. He changed the assembly and I paid him $ 75b by mistake as this part was still under warranty. I also called the parent company of infinity and they confirmed that they should not have charged me anything as the problem was reported on September 7, 2018 just few months after the installation of the new system. Now their manager is saying that they never saw my text and the problem is due to freeze. If they did not read my text it is their negligence and why I should pay for their mistake. I would like to inform the current and the future customers of Infinity Water that their Business dealing of this company is unethical and any one wants to do business with this company must read my complain # #15609930. This company is the worst. I have never experienced such poor customer service. No one seems to know what is going on. They have been out FOUR times to fix the same problem and it is still NOT FIXED. so installation was ok for me but don't go with these guys since they will rip you off. For example, they jacked up the washable filter to $80+ while Aquatech charged just $35 for the same exact filter. After one year, they will charge their customers $175 per visit. In short, better off to go with a generic/popular system but if you wanna stick with kinetico water softener then go with Aquatech instead. read more

Don't lose money! the did not installed the system where we requested b/c they said that was much better outside, being outside all the time have issues and broken parts, so they can charge $175 per visit. The customer service is the worst, I called for a system maintenance because we had bypass water to the street for +24h, they said the technician could be available in one month! after that, they sent the tech ONLY for filter change, so they can charge extra fees for system maintenance that was the original reason for my request! Where to start, purchase a new home and a filter system comes with it. We schedule an appointment, a salesmen shows up to try and sell us a $4000 RO system(highway robbery). He says I'll get you on the schedule, that was a lie I had to call them after a week of no calls to schedule an appointment. I proceed to call them again and they set it up for a 1-4 appointment and no one showed up, I proceed again to call their office and they claim we never spoke and we are not in their system. Their sales presentation is great from the Cypress, Texas store. I was interested in their $2,000 system because of the representations made by the sales rep. Unfortunately, when I asked to see their warranty in writing prior to committing to the purchase, I discovered significant inaccuracies between what was promised and what the warranty stated. For example, I was told the system would last 10 - 20 years without maintenance. But when I read the warranty, I discovered that filters needed to be changed under the sink for drinking water every 2 - 3 years. Cost: $184 every two years plus $110 every three years. Further, the installation company refused to make any warranties at all regarding their own services and, instead, simply give me the manufacturer's warranty which one would need a Rosetta Stone to understand unless one is FULLY aware of the product line. Their response: "trust me". I refused to do business with them because if a contractual commitment is not in writing, good luck proving it later. I also tried calling the customer service line in case I ever needed repairs. No response for almost a week after leaving a message. They later claimed they never received my message. Yet my phone confirmed that I called the number on the Internet. The sales rep also said they were fully caught up with post ice storm repairs. The owner called me and said they were still very busy with post ice storm repairs. He appears to be making his business in selling to new construction. Make sure your builder will stand behind Infinity Water when they don't come out for repairs. read more

Run far away horrible service and over priced with false warranty coverage. Bought a 4000 dollar system in the Pomona subdivision which the guy harassed me to buy always knocking on my door. Finally gave in and purchased only a year and half later after buying the tank busted bc of the freeze and the lady on the phone told me she was gonna charge me 150 to just come look at it lol what a joke and she had the audacity to hang up in my face during a pandemic because I was showing frustration as I thought it was under their fake warranty. All I asked was for them to give me a quote and not to charge me 150 to just look at it. It's the least you can do when someone spends that much money with you only year and a half later. I'll make sure to tell all my neighbors to stay far away from these crooks in the Pomona subdivision. I have had three technicians come out over the years and each one has explained fully what they are doing and why. The service order was not recorded properly so the technician had to make adjustments for the ticket. We ordered resin and had to call several times before it was delivered to us. To make the sale, Joe promised to replace the reverse osmosis filters for free one time, he also offered $100 credit for every customer I recommend. I live in a new neighborhood and ended up getting two neighbors to install the same system, I never saw a single dollar credit! Tried calling, left a message, nothing. Now, after one year, they keep trying to sell me the filters and have flat out called me a liar for saying that Joe said he would replace the filter for free one time. Forget the warranty issue. We paid Infinity Water $279.00 to come out (after 5 phone calls) to FIX OR REPLACE the Reverse Osmosis whole house system, but Obie, their technician, has not called us back with a quote after stating that he'd call us back immediately. Kinetico is a proprietary product, meaning that only a Kinetico authorized dealer can obtain parts, fix or replace their equipment. There are only 2 authorized dealers around Houston. So if you buy this system, there is poor support, if any. After making call after call to Infinity Water since December 23,2018 with no success to replace or fix the Reverse Osmosis equipment, we called Infinity water February 14th, 2019 asking to speak with the owner Jerry B. He refused to return our call. Our system has been down for over 2 1/2 months! Infinity Water does not support their proprietary product, Kinetico, to troubleshoot, repair, or replace (they could make money!) it. Horrible management of a business. read more

I should have come on here first before I decided to go with these folks. I got the whole house system installed because my mom got the same system and has good luck with it. It' only been 2 weeks and the refrigerator is not dispensing water or ice. they told me its not their system but its my fridge that's the problem. I called a repairman an pay $60.00 for a service fee. now I find out that they didn't properly install it and forgot to turn on the system. they came back out after several nasty phone calls and finally agree that it was their fault. Here are the facts when it was being installed: Two men of Hispanic decent showed up (Mark and Angel). Mark was constantly on the telephone explaining to another crew how to install another system at another home. This slowed up the progress at my home. Mark had to leave to help the other crew which left Angel at my home with limited English proficiency. I had no idea my sod would be dug up, hole drilled through my brick and sheet rock because no one had explained any of this to me prior. Paul Lancaster the sales person who was very polite but also did not explain any steps of the process only made the sale. I was very indecisive regarding the system although I went through with it. No one at the work site could answer my questions effectively and/or efficiently due to the English. Although my credit was ran and I was approved, I do not want the system at all due to my limited budget and poor customer support. Although it has been installed, I know a product such as this can be uninstalled. It seems as if it is being forced that a customer has to keep a product they no longer want and haven't used since it was completely installed Tuesday, Sept 18, 2018 at 8 pm and I contacted the company the same evening of my concern wanting to return it. I contacted Infinity water again on Wednesday, Sept. 19th at 8:30 am and was transferred to Paul and then to Joe. I don't know who Joe is but he should no longer be with the company as he disconnected the phone call (hung up in my face) and he's supposed to be of upper management, A JOKE.. I called back and Paul answered the phone. I asked to speak to Joe again and Paul said, "Joe is gone." A TRUE LIE and GAME that companies play. At this point, I will contact Lennar Headquarters, all Infinity locations to report the horrible customer service, no return policy, place the FACTS on Yelp, Google, and BBB reviews for potential customers to thoroughly read prior to making a decision. My son in Cypress was talked into this system by this man years ago. It turned into a mess and he ended up replacing the entire bottom section of the cabinet under the kitchen sink since the equipment rusted out and leaked to the point of rotting all the wood below. Numerous times I would go to their home and everything under their sink was in the floor. They were pretty miserable about it. Joe Yonan needs a "come to Jesus" meeting.
