I came in yesterday with a very bad cough. Wait was kind of long considering that there was only 1 other person in the waiting room, but no big deal. Dr. Regan is wonderful--I'd give her over a 5 star review if I could, she's the best! She was very attentive, kind, and explained things quite thoroughly to me. I came in saying I thought I had bronchitis, and as it turns out, I had walking pneumonia! She was very patient and took her time trying to assess what was going on, and I'm grateful that she didn't just dismiss it as bronchitis. I'm also not local to the area (was just visiting family and happened to get sick), so she was careful in explaining next steps for when I return home. The front desk staff was fine. She wasn't outright rude, but seemed annoyed every time I asked a question. They also charge $2 a piece for the thinnest, flimsiest disposable masks ever, in addition to a $3 credit card fee. It's 2023, in what world would you pay for a doctor without a credit card??? Being that this is an on campus location, I found that kind of exploitative, hence my 4 star review overall. read more

I have the Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield NJ State Health Benefits Plan and went to InFocus (Ewing) expecting in-network care. InFocus sent my COVID/flu testing to Acutis Diagnostics, which is out of network for my plan. That was not disclosed upfront, and I later received a lab bill totaling around $1,400, with $181 listed as my responsibility for the COVID/flu tests. This is exactly the kind of situation patients try to avoid, and it feels inconsistent with the intent of the Federal No Surprises Act and NJ's out-of-network consumer protections. Patients shouldn't have to interrogate a provider about which outside lab they use to avoid a surprise bill. If you're insured through the NJ State plan, ask in writing what lab they use and whether it's in network before any testing. I won't return. read more

Very poor quality care. Dr.Reagan pretty much made things worse. The office has a dog walking around. Not a sterile environment. I would never go there again. Better off just going to the ER. Definitely do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. read more

Do not go here. They told me they take my insurance and gave me a covid and strep test and I got a bill from their lab asking for $750. I've never had to pay more than $100 for a Covid test even in the height of the pandemic when they were scarce. Took my husband here yesterday with croupy sounding cough, headache and nasal congestion. Person came in to take his temperature and list of medications. Here enters the doctor called Woodie. Don't bother going there if "Woodie" is there. Complete lack of professionalism. Didn't check his ears, nose or throat. Finally took out his stethoscope and listened to half of his lungs. Meanwhile, my husband can't stop coughing. They never bothered to do a COVID test. Doctor: so you don't have a temperature. His assistant had written it down as 99.8 If only, the doctor had looked at the chart. Doctor: are you on any medications? He really should have looked at the chart as all the info was right there in front of him! Because my husband took the time to tell the doctor all his medications, this "Woodie" didn't make the mistake of ordering the wrong antibiotics for him. The original choice would have made his blood pressure sky rocket! Today is the day after the visit. My husband is not any better. horrible horrible horrible. do not go here. I came in with a fever, cough, sore throat, and severe body aches. After getting inspected by the physicians I was told that I don't have a fever and thats it's probably just a viral infection. instead of using their resources to rapid test me and get me the care that I need, they did the 1-2 test for Covid, Flu, and RC4 that bypasses the window to take Tamiflu. After waiting 3 days I got my results back that I was positive for the flu. They prescribed me Amoxicillin. After I picked up the prescription, my mother in law that's a nurse questioned why they would give me antibiotics for the flu because it could worsen and elongate my symptoms. Dr. Singh told me that the antibiotics were for the pneumonia that I don't have and is not in my charts. He also said that Tamiflu doesn't work. after My mother in law combatted his statements he proceeds to ask me how old I am and says he doesn't care that my mother in law is a nurse but that it's disrespectful to have her there. and he hung up on me. horrible. The doctor (Regan) was great, but the receptionist was unfriendly and hada serious attitude problem. The office NEVER answers their phone or responds to messages left. I don't see how it would be possible to make an appointment over the phone. They are more concerned with getting paid than anything else. The entire business needs an attitude adjustment. read more

I want to distinguish the care that I received from this organization's deceptive billing practice. I went in with a somewhat serious cut on my thumb. The doctor elected to use a type of surgical glue rather than sutures. That was a good decision. That doctor asked that I return a couple of days later, for a quick follow-up, to ensure that the cut was healing properly. It was. I was not surprised, then, when they did *not* ask that I pay the co-pay fee again. Instead, they showed me to an exam room, where I spent a minute or two with the doctor, who then had a non-physician staff member apply a band-aid. I *was* surprised, then, when a few weeks later, I received an invoice for the quick follow-up visit. If they had mentioned at the time of the visit that I needed to pay a co-pay (again), I would have simply left -- I was confident that the cut was healing well. At the time of the visit, they never once mentioned a co-pay. This practice seems very deceptive to me. read more

I was concerned about a spot on ny cheek and My PCP told me to use otc acne medication. I wanted a second opinion so I went by the ewing office and was seen by Dr. Seeta Arjun who removed some type of growth and sent it for biopsy; turns out it was squamos. Thank God she caught it early!! I have met few people magnanamous as Dr. Arjun; she works non-stop and identified some pretty serious aillments which other providers (who will remain nameless) completely misdiagnosed. Competing with the cooperate healthcare industrty when private insurance companies promote clinics which they own is difficult and she has not folded yet. In fact, I beleive she is opening more offices. At times, the staff can be confused and short with patients , however these are trying times foir us all. If I could give this no stars I would. I came in very ill on a Tuesday morning, I did testing for strep and the flu. I wasn't told after I had called them THREE TIMES that I tested positive for the flu (TWO WHOLE DAYS LATER). Medicines like Tamiflu are time sensitive and I knew that... I have already exceeded the 48 hours that they recommend you take the medicine. The visit was POINTLESS. The doctor saw me for maybe two minutes and walked right out, I then continued to wait ANOTHER HOUR in the doctors office just to get the rapid strep test done. I was cold, getting even more sick, and it appeared that someone else's mucus was just left on the ground. DISGUSTING. The reason I came in was because I was ill, not because I was coming for a checkup. This place was just so terrible. The only helpful person was Joe who sat at the front desk. DO NOT EVER GO HERE IF YOU ARE ACTUALLY SICK. Not even an apology. I'm horrified that people come here for urgent care.... nothing urgent about it read more

My boyfriend and I came here after he expressed to me he could be facing a serious health concern. The nurses were incredibly helpful as they took his vitals & listened to his symptoms. They left us in the exam room & informed us the doctor would be with us in a few minutes. Understandably, my boyfriend's parents were extremely concerned and were calling and texting him to get updates. He picked up a call from his father to fill him in and assure him he was alright. As he was on the call, the doctor came in. Without giving either of us a chance to speak, the doctor said, "THIS is why we have a no cell phones in the exam room sign outside," stormed out of the room & slammed the door behind him like a child. My boyfriend and I were dumbfounded, and sat in silence until a few minutes later when the doctor returned and said, "can we try this again?" in a condescending tone. It's not as if this doctor had a dozen other patients waiting on him--the urgent care was absolutely empty, and so silent you could hear a pin drop. I would understand if the doctor was annoyed if my boyfriend was on the phone while there for a cold or something common, but he (and his parents!) was incredibly worried that something very serious was wrong. And this doctor stormed out on what could've potentially been a serious illness because he was angry that my boyfriend was on the phone with his father! I have gone to this urgent care regularly for allergy shots, and not once did I see a single sign or was informed that there was a no cell phone policy in the exam room. This doctor was extremely unprofessional--I hope he does not behave in this manner when people's lives are at risk. Kudos to the nurses for working with him, because I know I would not last a single day working there. (Edit: the doctor's name is Dale Struble. Normally I wouldn't post his name but this man was insufferable and I wouldn't let him treat me for a paper cut.) read more

Medical professionals are nice and friendly but receptionists are very unprofessional. Not only do they not answer the phone, when you return just to check in on your test results because you haven't been in touch with anyone they yell at you in front of other patients which is beyond inappropriate. I've received better service at the schools health center. Will not be returning again. If you are getting a COVID-19 test cancel your appointment and go elsewhere. Results take longer than five days while as you can go to CVS and get results back in as little as two days. Ridiculous. read more

I took a bad fall 2 weeks ago that left me bruised and embarrassed. The bruising faded but I was still experiencing some aches and pains in the area I hit the sidewalk with. I'm visiting from Florida so I asked family where to go and they recommended this InFocus Urgent Care. The front desk was friendly and efficient. The doctor listened to my problem and examined me. He reassured me that I did not break anything and that it could take a couple of weeks for the aches to go away. I just needed to have this assurance from a professional. I had the WORST experience here!! I was having an allergic reaction to another antibiotic, which I'm very familiar with as this is the third time it has happened with a third type of antibiotic, and was not given proper care. I asked for a shot of cortisone which is what I'm given when I'm reacting and the physician's assistant refused to administer it. She kept insisting that the reaction was coincidentally occurring at the same time that I took the medicine to which I'm allergic. I assured her that no, in fact, it was not coincidental because I have been through this before and that if I wait any longer the rash will continue to spread past my face and to the rest of my body. After I said that, she responded with "well WHEN you have trouble breathing, call 911". I then decided to ask her to prescribe me a round of oral steroids as that is what I am prescribed after receiving the shot and once again, she refused. Her justification was "steroids have side effects". In addition to the physician assistant's refusal to treat me in any beneficial way, I noticed unprofessional and non-hippa compliant behaviors. When I was called into an examination room, the man from the front desk wrote down my temperature, height, weight, etc on a SCRAP of paper. When the physician's assistant came in, she was writing in a notebook on the same page as previous patients. I could very clearly read from a distance the patient's names and medical conditions. While in the examination room, I noticed how thin the walls are. I clearly heard the private conversations with other patients in the room next to me. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. read more

I came to this facility after I got a cut for which I thought I might need stitches. It was a nice, clean, modern facility. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I was seen in a very timely manner and received excellent treatment. My favorite part were the two dogs. They were very friendly, and I could see their being very reassuring to someone who was anxious. I highly recommend this urgent care facility and will come back if the need arises. This is a great place to go for a cold or simple things. They are quick, the doctors are friendly, and they have cute therapy dogs. What more could you want! I highly suggest this. I was in and out in 25 mins. Where else will you get that!?? Dr. Soper was also very helpful. read more
