I primarily see Dr. Nasser and NP, Amelia Campbell and their attention to my concerns and thoroughness has been incredible. When I was in PT trying to avoid spinal fusion, I mentioned how painful it was, I know PT can hurt, I've had both hips and knees replaced. However, when I told Amelia I was leaving PT crying she sat me down and encouraged me to remember that while it can be uncomfortable, what l was experiencing could be doing more harm than good. She also said it could just be a bad fit and maybe I could see a different provider as there are many approaches to PT. The extra ten minutes she spent with me helped me remember to self advocate. Anyway, she cared and her advice was very helpful. The office staff are efficient, friendly and kind. In all the years I've been there, they've only run behind one or two times. Although they are a very busy practice, they are still very thorough and efficient, while still listening to the needs and input from the patient. From my experience as a nurse myself, I know this is not always the case. They are very open minded to a wide variety of treatment options. I greatly appreciate that! After my initial consult with Dr. Ryklin it was determined that I would try trigger point injections for my upper back pain and a more involved lumbar injection procedure for my lower back (that required an MRI that was done for $300. at Simon Med). The staff and Dr. took great care to find affordable imaging for the MRI since my insurance had lapsed. I appreciate that they do their best to keep costs down so they are affordable, even without insurance. After the procedures the staff is very attentive and helpful in monitoring and making sure the patient recovers safely and is taken to their vehicle to the patient's driver. From the Dr.'s to the Nurse Practitioners, nurses, med techs and assistants and front desk staff, they are top notch! As far as my pain relief, they have given me my life back! I've been able to participate in family events, take care of my home and myself, play with my Grandchildren, among many other activities I thought I would never do again. I just completed my second set of injections. I would say my pain relief lasted approximately 4 months, which is about the time I was told it could last. I was also told that it can vary and it could have been weeks, but I'm very grateful to have this great pain relief last so long, from a treatment that is in the $100's, not $1,000's. There are no better therapists than Lindsey and her assistant Jillian to put you on the road to recovery. It's hard work to get your muscles working the right way. Lindsey develops the correct program and Jillian makes sure I do the exercises correctly. To be corrected and doing the exercises correctly, is very important to me. I always joke around, that I don't want to be mediocre, but exceptional, and Lindsey and Jillian make sure I achieve my goals. After a little more than 3 months of therapy, I'm 90% recovered, now it's up to me to continue to exercises at home. I can highly recommend Foothills Physical Therapy. It appeared that all the therapists there are just as kind, caring and qualified as Jake. They all focused carefully on each of their patients like doting parents. The rest of staff there were wonderful as well (especially Keaton). They are all friendly, kind, caring and full of smiles. They genuinely love what they do, and it showed every time I went. The one good thing that happened was that I made the decision to get off oxycodone after six years. Went back to my spine surgeon after 2 years of Dr. Yaddu. MRI showed previous partial directory has eroded to the point where the vertebrae are dropping out of line. Probably looking at my third level of fusion. My surgeon showed me a picture of my spine that Dr. Yaddu had posted on his practices' website showing off his "skill" in performing an Intracept procedure around my old fusion. The procedure was a complete failure. Seems like a lot of these pain doctors just use their patients like an ATM .

I wish we hadn't moved so I wouldn't have had to waste the time, and money to give me what resulted in a 4th grade education on the evils of corn, and it's effects on mid-west cattle.
