That does fit the literal description of the salad, but it would have been nice with a couple more. She had the ginger dressing instead of the 'spicy' one in the description and enjoyed it. My Pad Thai was fine, but it kind of had a burnt or overdone taste. I couldn't place it, but there was definitely something off. My three stars did not seem to hit me with any heat. Another letdown for us was that it took a long time for our food to come out, but they were putting a lot of food delivery orders out. It's frustrating that finite amount of people in the restaurant are delayed by a potentially unlimited amount of app orders. The prices were a bit higher than a couple of our favorite Thai places in Spokane.

We found Jean and John Linstrum with their booth of sweet caramels at this Faire, and I sampled the huckleberry variety, having not grown up in a state where huckleberries are a regular treat. It was delicious! We ended up buying several half pound bags in a variety of flavors and they were all outstanding. When we returned home, our house-sitter, our pet-sitter, my co-workers, and my parents all received some candy! It was such a nice treat that I emailed Moon Creek and asked about pricing to give out little variety bags. I figured I would give them as a way to draw in business for my side job as a mobile notary, and to thank my customers as well! A box of 50 variety bags arrived very soon after (the pricing worked out to $3 per bag, with 6 flavors in each bag): Butter rum caramel, espresso caramel, cherry caramel, pecan caramel, butter caramel and salt caramel.
