It is a dark lit space with tables, and a bar area - it's a great spot for working or for time with friends. Such an amazing tea room right downtown! I've had Revival tea before but had never visited the tasting room until recently. What an awesome spot! They have a small cafe on the ground level but if you head down the stairs to the right when you walk in, it will take you to the tasting room. I came here on a weekday with my nieces and we all did tastings (3 different tea samplings each). The staff was so kind and informative! The tasting trays came out with small vials of the loose leaf tea too which was a cute touch to combine taste with smell. After tastings, we also indulged in some tea latte drinks and then purchased loose leaf tea to take home. I'll definitely be back! read more

Coming from LA, this is the most expensive boba milk tea I've ever had, especially for the size and quality (I've paid $9.50 at most for a drink twice the size). The boba is also very hard and either old or overdone, opposed to soft, chewy, and fresh. They also advertise some drinks as boba that don't actually come with boba, which is an additional charge. Was excited to try this place but was very disappointed. The service was amazing though, top tier even. 5 stars for the service. read more

When we asked how much longer it would be it was said 5 more minutes and had to ask multiple times bc the person had headphones and wasn't listening to any of the people in there. I love coming here. The atmosphere downstairs is cozy, friendly and inviting. It's a great place to bring a friend and sip tea and play board games. The tea is so fun, we love the hop teas that taste just like a refreshing beer or the Irish coffee that tastes just like its alcohol infused namesake. There unfortunately was an issue with the machine not being able to accept cards that occurred in the middle of us ordering and the staff handled the stress/confusion extremely professionally and were exceedingly kind. I did a tea tasting flight and unfortunately did not enjoy any of the teas I picked out. I also ordered them iced and they all came hot - likely due to the overwhelming situation with the POS. A really unique tea house that offers a huge variety of teas. I tried the tea sampler and also got a tea to go. All in all glad to have tried this place but it sure did get busy which wavers the rating and review, things got hairy for a second with ordering and someone took my drink thinking it was theirs, long story short it was sorted and added additional wait time for us. Revival is located in the basement of a building, so no windows, meaning that it's dark, cozy, and so relaxing. They have lots of games available, but there are also many patrons with books, computers, etc. quietly working. Like a library, it's the kind of place you immediately feel cozy and quiet in. I hadn't been in before so I asked staff for recommendations on a sweeter caffeinated tea. Their massive menu isn't broken out by any different factors, but I was hoping to get a recommendation anyway. They were so so knowledgeable on every tea on the menu from the most popular to every ingredient. I ended up with the hot Orange Spice Cinnamon which certainly did not disappoint - if you like Christmas and/or mulled wine, this is the tea for you. The first time my friend and I went downstairs in their downtown location to the former speakeasy. Loved the dark moody vibes and their selection of loose leaf and tea creations. We got the tea flight which felt and tasted quite special. Next time we went upstairs to their boba tea room, which was super yummy! The chai is quite spicey, which I enjoy as a #basic pumpkin girl. Coffee for those who aren't into all the teas. The prices reflect the time and care put into the product, with prices in the 3-7 dollar range. Super high quality tea that is blended on site, located in an old speakeasy. Seriously cool place. Customer service was awesome, and relaxed. We didn't sit at the bar, but noticed the customers who did were enjoying asking questions about the drink making process and the employees were all about sharing the deets. Presentation was beautiful as well. I got tea bags of the lemon ginger tonic, orange spice cinnamon, and northwest breakfast. The lemon ginger tonic was decaffeinated and tasted like a spice lemon cake. It had lemongrass in it. Yum! The orange spice cinnamon tasted divine, ohhh Fall flavors in a cup. Delicious! That was my fave. The northwest breakfast is a black tea with white pine needles. I know... say what, pine needles?!? Hey, it works... that added an extra flavor boost. I bought the kit over two months ago and just last week opened it up to brew the tea. Cold weather has hit... my Fall tea drinking season has begun. The tea was still fresh, smelled sooo delicious, and tasted great. The owners are having a sale now of buy one and get one for half off tea sale, and free shipping for $20 plus. Awesome! Part of me doesn't want to post this review, because I don't want it to be so popular it's hard to find a seat. At the same time, I want everyone to go here and give them all their money so they are in business forever. Revival is the modern tea house. Forget doilies and stiff chairs and crumpets and think moody but modern, and comfortable. Located in the basement (because it's literally an old speakeasy) you can find over 40 types of tea you can get hot, iced, or as a latte. They also have several tea sodas (ginger peach tea soda fan for life). If you're indecisive or new to tea, they have flights so you can sample three at a time. And if the place is quiet, the owners can tell you the history of the space (history buffs, rejoice). They recently rolled out a membership program where you can get unlimited, yes *unlimited* tea all month (small surcharge for lattes and blooming teas) and I may have overheard they are gearing up to launch a chider for fall- chai tea made with locally pressed apple cider. If you find something you can't live without, they have generously sized bags for purchase loose-leaf or bags as well as some of the necessary accessories if you're brewing loose-leaf at home. Not only is Revival innovating a beverage that has been around for centuries, but they can easily be counted among the reasons #spokanedoesntsuck. read more

We have been following revival tea since the owners started their online business just about a year ago. Watching their product line grow and their success take off has been incredible. We had the pleasure of checking out their new location and we loved it. The space is in the basement of one of the older buildings downtown in a spot that used to be a speakeasy. They did a great job with the renovation and it has a very calming and laid back vibe. I had a tea taster flight and was able to try 3 new teas without having to get a full cup of each. The service was super friendly and very helpful. You can tell the owners are passionate about what they do. The teas are very good and high quality with a wide selection of options. We will definelty be coming back to try some more teas and I am looking forward to try one of their "Mocktails" made with tea.
