Store was clean and had some of the things I needed. Friendly service, welcoming. Produce was mainly what I was looking for, which was limited. They only carry the Asian produce, which I can understand to keep costs down and due to limited space. Just FYI this is not a "one stop shop" where you can get your Asian veg and also pick up your tomatoes and celery. Props for good quality control. I checked all the expiration dates because this can be a problem with Asian stores and everything was far from expiring. No bathroom for customers. We have been clients of theirs since before they moved to their current location. The customer service has always been good. Sometimes they are busy with other customers. Other times we have time to catch up since the last time we visit. One of the family members that own the business is usually there and if I need something special they can tell me when they can get it in. Their vegetables are always fresh on Friday and run low by Wednesday as they bring the new veggies in on Thursdays. We visit quarterly as we live a hour or more away from the store. We get all our Asian supplies from them. Prices are fair. And we recommend them if anyone asks. read more

This Asian market although has most of the Asian food supply need, the owners there are unfriendly. They are not helpful when needing help to find items. I haven't seen any smiles on them when I was in their store and often not getting very friendly answers from them. It seems they just treated you as begging them for free food. I have never gone back shopping in this store. I have better options to shop other Asian markets in town. read more

This was my first time checking them out since they moved from their old spot. The space they got now is way bigger which is a good thing. I went during midweek and there were limited produce available. But you can still find some essential items that you need for your Asian cooking here, however imo the store could use a little bit of organizing. Some of the sections have boxes on the ground while the other area with mounds of empty boxes, which can be a trip hazard and also an eye sore. Another odd thing I noticed was a fridge visible and out on public access but just had a note that says not for customers. It looked like they store their personal food items in there. Just be careful not to reach in that fridge for your shopping needs. read more

The markets prices are a little high right now. Customer service seems down a bit. We usually stop here whenever we go to Spokane. This last visit turned us off. The owner was in the back going through vegetables, which is great. Always good to do quality control. I told my kids to go grab some ice cream mochi. My daughter who is 8 opened the freezer door and the owner jumped all over her for opening the freezer. How else can you grab the ice cream if you don't open the freezer door. I watched the interaction and should have said something, but I didn't want to cause a seen. We all have bad days and I understand that. This was our last time going to this market. We'll just shop in Seattle. read more

Cashier younger lady was nice, on the other hand the older lady was very rude and as I was coming to cashier she was whispering stuff about me to the cashier not professional at all. All I asked was for a sauce to cook seafood and her answer was "I don't know, we don't cook seafood" which I replied ahh interesting and she left making faces. The store always has everything that you need. Always has a good stock of all the popular food products that you need in a very reasonable price. Even has unique items you would not normally think to find an eastern Washington. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and often the store has the owners working. Although the selection is limited in comparison to the Asian markets I'm used to in California, they have all the things you would need to make the Asian meals you want! I came here specifically looking for ingredients to make a Vietnamese dish. Although they didn't have the fresh products I was looking for aside from vegetables (which I was informed they have it every weekend and I came during the week), they did have a good variety of items to choose from. When I went, they had tons of frozen goods, lots of veggies, variety of noodles, and lots and lots of snacks!! I've been to many different Asian stores, mainly in Seattle and they always have bad customer service so I'm used to it. After getting kind of lost looking for rice and beef bones, the person there was nice to help me look for the things I needed and was very helpful. The cashier was also very nice and helpful. This place is now my go to Asian store place in the Spokane area! They have everything you need for phad Thai, curry, banh xeo, pho and so many more amazing Asian dishes.
