The food was amazing. I can't say enough good things about it. Next the owner and staff... our waiter (Tony) was fantastic and we had the pleasure of quickly meeting one of the co owners named Rick. Very attentive to all the customers. He felt that it was taking a bit too long for our food to come out (not long at all) and offered our whole party free dessert. We met friends at Kuni's over the weekend. There was no wait on a Saturday night, which was nice, and the inside was beautiful and clean. The server was very friendly and polite. My wife ordered the Glass Noodle Salad (zero stars) and I had the Chicken Pad Thai (three stars). She enjoyed her salad, but the photo is accurate with only two shrimp in it. That does fit the literal description of the salad, but it would have been nice with a couple more. She had the ginger dressing instead of the 'spicy' one in the description and enjoyed it. My Pad Thai was fine, but it kind of had a burnt or overdone taste. I couldn't place it, but there was definitely something off. My three stars did not seem to hit me with any heat. Another letdown for us was that it took a long time for our food to come out, but they were putting a lot of food delivery orders out. It's frustrating that finite amount of people in the restaurant are delayed by a potentially unlimited amount of app orders. The prices were a bit higher than a couple of our favorite Thai places in Spokane. read more

Ok, first, are you ready? The people are great. I had friendly conversation with the server and I believe the other gentleman might have been a supervisor. With him we talked about Thailand. With the server we talked about the food. The decor is great as well. Made up like a very nice restaurant. You would say, o owe??...this looks expensive. The prices weren't too bad. Middle of the road. Now, if the food reflected the price, I would say it's an okay place. Nice hang out with good food. Family, friendly groups, friendly get together with friends, etc. But there wasn't a reflection lol. There was good flavor,in the food, except I needed to add much of the "spicy" pepper sauce to get any "kick" out of the food. You know, authentic Thai food is served, spicy. This dish didn't have it! Oh wow!....but The amount of "green beans" was overwhelming! I ate green beans forever, they never stopped. Mixed in were a couple shrimp, not two, just a couple. I saved the shrimp for last, for some variety. I finished the green beans and my jaw ached lol-I wanted the fiber. Good for my constitution. Please don't get the green beans/shrimp plate unless you are going to share the green beans with the entire table, friends and family. The entire group you are with. There was not much else on the plate. Maybe some onions. Like I said, the flavor was good; after the addition of the pepper sauce. I spent 18 days in Thailand just recently. My native Thai fiancé took me to all the great tasting restaurants. Look....I paid for a noodle plate, two plates worth of vegetables dishes (many things included), and a full plate of baked and fried chicken. I paid 300 Thai baht- the equivalent to 10 dollars. When I paid close to 20 dollars for this plate in question, I said to myself, I want back...I want to go back to Thailand. BTW...the food at the Thai restaurant in Thailand was phenomenal. Wow! what a kick! Yummy. I know a lot of Americans can't handle the intensity, but this restaurant in question, if they want to serve authentic food, make it a little spicy. And put a quarter of the beans served on that plate. People like shrimp. The cost should have reflected the amount of shrimp served on the plate. It did not. Fiber is real good for you. But if you eat that amount of beans it will surely give you the runs. read more

Great restaurant with a very welcoming atmosphere. When I was seated I jokingly told the server, "I hope the food is great cause it was a very long drive." She assured me it was and started telling me about the owner, cooks, and some of the staff. She continued to share there are regulars who drive a few hours every month just to eat there. I was very intrigued at what keeps them coming back. I studied the menu ahead of time and was dead set on Spicy cashew noodles. My coworker wanted to share an order of crab and cheese Rangoons and I ventured out and ordered a huckleberry lemonade. Well, the food did not disappoint. The Rangoons were crispy and tasty. The spicy cashew noodles were so yummy. I'm not sure which heat level I ordered but it was perfect. . . runny nose type of heat. . . And the lemonade was great. Two out of three items we ordered were appetizers, and oh so good! The drinks were perfect for each of our tastes: Plum Fairy Tini (how could I resist?) and Japanese Mule. The Crab & Cheese Wonton was amazing! Curry Puff? Delightful! And Crab Fried Rice? Excellent leftover. They used a locally harvested Dungeness Crab in everything Crab related, and you could SEE it!!!!! We kinda "fought" over the chunks in the fried rice. Don't forget the service. You pick two entrees and you get rice and pad Thai too. My husband got the garlic and black pepper with massam curry. He got the rice and pad Thai We asked for cabbage to be added to the garlic and black pepper dish and no problem. $2 fee which is fair. The garlic and black pepper was so delicious and full of flavor. I am not a fan of Pad Thai, but this is the best Pad Thai that I have ever eaten. I ordered via UberEats and everything came well packaged. I got chicken pad Thai 2 stars and a Thai iced tea. The pad Thai was a generous portion and lovely flavoring. We met a friend here for dinner and what a nice surprise on our first visit. A nice selection of items on the menu for both appetizers and main course dishes. Several apps were order for the group and they were also spot on in taste and quantity. The main course meals were also excellent. Some of the highest quality food we've had recently with plenty to take home for another meal. Service was also very good with lots of attention given to our table. The only downside is pricing. It is priced on the steep side so be prepared for that. When considering you get enough food for an addition leftover meal, it's easier to take the sticker shock.
