I've always enjoyed their fried chicken and picked up an eight piece box today. After I left, I decided to have a piece. The first piece I picked up (see picture) didn't have any meat left on it; it had been fried off. I came back to let them know. I took the single piece of burnt crust and bones in and spoke to the young girl behind the manager's desk. She was dismissive, offered no apology, and no remedy. I felt sorry because if this had been my first experience with their chicken, it would be my last. Her flippant attitude is the reason for the one star.

The live music created such a peaceful, relaxing environment. I felt completely at ease, almost like I was in my own little world for a while. For breakfast, I ordered the avocado egg toast with extra eggs on the side. I was so excited to eat that I forgot to take a picture, but it was absolutely worth mentioning. You could always find what you need, associates were helpful, REGISTERS WERE OPEN, and prices are good. Fast forward six months. Sections of shelves are empty. The staff, especially newer folks, are surly and rude. Management is never on the floor. Registers are never open! Why are there three register and only two self-check registers open at 6:30 on a Sunday?! 5-6 people in line at each register and no one is willing to open a new register? Never in my life would I think that I would feel more welcome at Walmart than at Publix. Come on Publix. You're better than this. At least you used to be.
