My niece had been telling me about how delicious the roasted chicken salad is at their deli. They just happen to be running a special in all of their salads. Buy a pound of chicken salad, seafood salad and tuna salad and get four count croissants. They did have the salad out in containers in ice, but you could also get it from the deli case. I looked at the ingredients and it has chicken breasts and chicken thigh meat. At my sister's suggestion I asked the man working in the deli if that chicken salad has the chicken thigh in it too, he told me that it did. This was a no go for me, I only like white meat chicken salad, and that's what I use when I make it myself. For what it cost, it should have been ALL WHITE meat. Though I didn't purchase any chicken salad, it was nice to browse around the store, to see the big selection of a lot of items not found at my ("big three" Publix, Ingles, and Aldi)grocery stores to shop in. I did find some frozen chicken tenders, that look really tasty on the box they are in. The chicken tenders will be on Sunday's dinner menu. If you haven't been to The Fresh Market, are craving good chicken salad and you don't have a chicken salad preference stop by and check them out.

They also cater to the semi-prepared, frozen meals (as in minimal cooking required) selections but do have good organic fresh meats as well as an excellent fresh produce department. This is the kind of store where you could do all of your shopping, but many come here for certain items. Also, did I mention the affordable wine (Charles Shaw, aka "Two Buck Chuck")? But it's not $2 anymore, still a good deal. Customer service is ample, helpful and fun/upbeat. Ring the bell for recognition of excellent service. Ambiance is casual, but "fresh" with a lot of items and specialty items in a smaller space. They do this by mostly carrying only their own store brands, which are typically unique and higher end of quality and value.

Next, the potato chips alone are reason enough to go there. What's so special about plain potato chips? Well, if you don't know, then you just haven't tried them yet. Some of my other favorites are the sun dried tomatoes in oil and fresh flour tortillas. My daughter loves the section of dried fruits, especially the mangos. And why no on else can make salted pecans taste as good as TJs? I'll never know. If you love succulents or other plants, they've got em! If you love healthier snack foods - look no further. And when you are finished shopping, check out is a BREEZE - there are so many registers open and the workers are generally friendly and helpful. I even love the bags - brown paper bags with solid handles. Now, if only we could get a Trader Joe's in Travelers Rest so we don't have to go to Woodruff Road! That will be the day :-)

I walked around the store and bought things on sale. Sadly, the sale prices that are posted is not how things ring up. The other problem, I bought a smoked chicken a whole chicken. I was very excited to get home and eat it. It wasn't fully cooked. I didn't realize and ate a chicken wing. I also bought a piece of cooked salmon. I'm not sure if it was the salmon or the chicken but all of a sudden I was so incredibly nauseous! Then I looked for my receipt. I had no memory of the cashier giving me a receipt. I looked through all my bags. I looked in my purse. I looked in my wallet. No receipt. Oh and I bought a bottle of evolution. Fresh squeezed orange juice. Opened it up when I got home and it was bitter, which meant it was going bad already. And I went directly from the store home so it didn't sit in my car and get warm. Since I didn't have a receipt and I felt I was overcharged... The charge of my credit card wasn't what I thought I had paid... I returned everything to the store. They were able to download my receipt. They did give me a complete credit for everything I bought. But there was something I went back and bought. Simple syrup mixers for alcoholic drinks. They were on sale for $2.99 and usually $4.35 or $4.50. My original purchase I had bought five. That's definitely a good deal and I use this product all the time. After returning everything, I went back to the shelves and grabbed two bottles of simple syrup. When I went to pay, here's a surprise: they rang up at full price. As I walked into the store, and as I walked out of the store, I kept telling people to check their receipts. It's very common for grocery stores to have sale prices posted, but not update their computer system and if you're not paying attention, you do not get the sale price. Well, sadly, I guess this is what this chain does. I hope the people who run this chain read my review. I hope they check how they cook their chickens in store and sell them as fully cooked. I know Costco and all the other grocery store chains do not sell undercooked hot chickens. Someone's not doing their job or they don't have their thermometers working. Very sad.

The store is so busy, I set the month trial for the delivery service on top of my Amazon Prime. I'll tell you Walmart+ and instacart have better delivery services. I guess Whole Foods doesn't use insulated bags for delivery and every frozen item was thawed. Every single time. It was a huge hassle getting refunds or replacements. Fortunately the grocery subscription was a trial and I didn't lose any money on that. Shop in store and be vigilant when selecting produce!

That is what Eurostor is like. Accompanied by a deli case for some prepared options to go. There is no seating area for dining on the premises. This is more of a grocery store. I did not purchase anything due to time and being overwhelmed, but hopefully some photos will help be to research some options to target on a return visit. There is also a significant section of "home remedies" from turmeric/ginger tonic to elderberry syrup in local honey, and various vinegars or juices. It is a fun place to visit and I could see this being a main grocery store for those who live nearby. It's worth the 30 minute drive for us, plus some nice countryside to see along the way. The staff is very helpful. The store is now much larger, clean and organized and well kept.
