The food was unexpected. It was excellent. The pizza logs are unreal and a must. The sandwiches come with the most delicious and freshest bread that reminds me of going to cityline in Brooklyn to buy freshly baked bread from the Italian bakery there. For lunch they have great deals. The sandwiches are not small. Kids love the chicken finger and fries here too. The service was always super friendly. We came back 3 times. The front door and entrance were dirty, which unfortunately set the tone for the entire experience. This place was a complete disappointment and honestly unprofessional. While the servers were fine, the owner and management were clearly the real problem. They promoted a Super Bowl special to get people in the door, yet refused to turn the game volume up around 6:30 PM because they close at 9, making it obvious they just wanted to leave early. Instead, they insisted on blasting loud 80s music even though everyone there was clearly there to watch the Super Bowl. To make it worse, as customers started leaving due to the poor experience, the staff and owner were downstairs high fiving each other about people leaving, which was incredibly disrespectful and shocking to witness. On top of that, the establishment itself was dirty and poorly maintained. The food was mediocre at best. Do not advertise yourself as a football spot or run Super Bowl promotions if you have zero interest in providing an actual game day experience. Visited 1/22/26 for dinner. First was the Pizza Logs. It's basically egg rolls filled with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni. Um, YES! We'll order that again. Next was Lemon Pepper Wings for me and Vodka Made Me Do It for the wife. The wings were very flavorful with a great aftertaste and extremely juicy. The wife's dish consisted of rigatoni pasta in a cream vodka sauce, roasted chicken, Parmesan, spinach, crushed red pepper and sprinkled with scallions. I really didn't think that combination would been as delicious as it was. AND had a little bit of a kick to it. While I only sampled it, I could definitely order that for myself. And of course, bourbon & ginger ale. Always a winning combination. We sat upstairs and they had the heaters going. It was nice and cozy. This place will rock hard in the spring and summer. My date and I grabbed dinner here on a Wednesday as there was live music with rooftop seating. It was alright...? Parties of 2 can only sit at the "rail seating" which overlooks... the parking lot. So it was difficult to eat and enjoy the live music and the college football games playing in the background. The pizza was great... extra cheesy to be precise and more of a thinner crust. Beware: the garlic knots are more garlic than knots. Bring breath mints (or consider skipping it for the sake of your date.) Our server was kind but only checked in once and that was to give the check so forget asking about refills on drinks. Then again maybe they were avoiding us because of the dragon breath caused by the delicious garlic knots. My only gripe is there is only plastic ware for forks and knives. read more

The Slice is located along the historic Main Street in Simpsonville. While I had no plans of trying out pizza in the Greenville area, seeing a steady flow of customers grabbing food at The Slice and the amazing aroma tempted me into grabbing a slice to see what the fuss was all about. The true Italian pizzeria smell hits you upon entering which is always a good sign. There's plenty of indoor seating and a rooftop area for dining in. While I have no basis for comparison with other South Carolina pizzerias, the plain slice (4/5) I had was solid and prepared with decent quality dough, sauce, and cheese. While the ingredients didn't pack the punch of a NY/NJ area slice, I was pretty impressed with it overall, so would recommend The Slice to others looking for some good pizza in Simpsonville. The service was super friendly and one of the girls working there who grew up in New Jersey took the time out to say hi and chat after finding out I was visiting from NJ. There's a wonderful Simpsonville mural alongside the building as well that just added to the charm. read more

We have been dinning with Slice since they opened. We enjoy the DJ Mike and the food and sevice is exceptional. On 6/18 We had some friends from Fort Worth TX staying with us they also LOVE Slice, Roof top was very busy and as always kids were running around not a problem I'm a parent doesn't bother me. However after each 2 cocktails and food the Manger ( tall thin rude ) placed our tab on the table . I approached him and asked? I noticed you placed our tab on the table we were going to order a PIzza to take home for later . He replied: very rudely we don't want to serve you ? I asked why ? He didn't give a response. I was shocked. My Fiancé and guest ask what did we do ? Were we to loud ? Were we laughing to loud ? Was it because we danced ? Others were dancing? if so the music was loud you have to be more vocal. I've been in the restaurant business for 25yrs. From GM , District M, VP and owner operator . I have never handled a guest in that manner ? I also have never done a review . However I understand when you are asked to leave it's best just to leave . I paid our $250 tab and approached the manager before we left and gave him $60 for the server not wanting to leave the cash on the table . I told the manager I know the owners and will be reaching out . He replied; you do that I know them also ?? To wrap up this exhausting review . We also frequently dine at the other restaurants owned by the same group , I will not mention due to this has nothing to do with the other. However when we dine at the other restaurant we have large parties of 8-10 and after wine, cocktails and dinner our tab ranges $2,000 or better . We dine with them at least once a month . I previously had the opportunity for take out at The Slice, a restaurant that has grown in popularity over the last few years. Finally dined in. They have expanded their space to include a spacious rooftop dining area and bar, as well as outdoor seating options. Located on Main St in Simpsonville, we decided to sit at the bar. The service was prompt and attentive. We started with the Italian Salad, which was generously portioned, and shared a small Too Too Pizza that was absolutely awesome.. With drinks included, our total bill came to $48.00. The atmosphere was inviting, and the addition of wide-screen TVs enhanced the experience. I went there for lunch and they have a special that you can get two pieces of pizza for 10 dollars. I got the chicken bacon ranch, and the grandma pizza and oh my gosh it was amazing!! I'm originally from the Northeast and it's hard for me to find pizza that compares to what I'm used to. My wife and I stopped in The Slice (Simpsonville location) while vacationing in upstate South Carolina. Their pizza is probably the best I've had in the South. We also had the meatballs and ricotta, and the vodka rigatoni. Everything was very, very good and our server Adrienne provided some of the best service we've ever had. Several other employees checked in on us to make sure everything was good. Overall a great experience here and we highly recommend stopping in when you're in the Simpsonville area. read more

Yes, maybe points there. The food however, was eh. Personally liked the chicken bacon ranch pizza better as it had more flavor.
