Now you are guaranteed to be stuck behind at least five people in line, and it's going to take ten minutes to get in and out with just a Slurpee. And now the staff there are unhappy, unfriendly, and stressed out. The Slurpee machines are often obviously in need of service, the floors are filthy, and there is often stock in boxes set in the aisles. Not to mention the crowds of gang members and "alleged" drug dealers who fill the few parking spaces near the gas pumps. I don't know if this store changed owners or what, but it's gone downhill fast. 7-11 corporate should buy this store back and clean it up!

The restaurant has recently moved to an new location in a building undergoing renovations. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor overlooking the street. The menu right now is very simple and features traditional Caribbean fare such as chicken and pork. The menu changes day to day as the restaurant figures out what they want to focus on. The waiter verbally told us the menu. We tried the oxtail and the ackee & salt fish. Both were very good. Ackee is a fruit and not for everyone. Ackee & salt fish is the national dish of Jamaica, but can be acquired taste. The oxtail is delicious and very tender. Traditionally a low-cost food of the Caribbean, it's become a delicacy in its own right. Overall, a great experience and I wish the owners success in refining the concept further.
