I was in a complete panic and started calling local trophy stores, hoping that someone could help me. The first two stores I called gave me a firm no and seemed a little annoyed that I would even call and ask. So when I called A & J Trophy, I was not expecting much. Was I ever surprised! I was just asking for a blank crystal trophy and planned to explain to the recipients that I would get ithem engraved and shipped after the conference. Not only did A & J Trophy say they could get me 2 crystal trophies similar to what I had, they said they would stay late and get them engraved for me. They even face-timed with me so that I could see different options. Deb and her team were amazing and went above and beyond anything I could have expected. If I could give them 10 stars, I would! I told her that was unacceptable because our coworker would be gone. So she told me to get it Friday afternoon! I'm like, HE'S LEAVING FRIDAY, why did your site say five days when it's not? She ignored my question and wasn't even apologetic. I relayed this to my boss; we are both disappointed a simple engraved in-stock award is taking so long and we are getting pushback as if we didn't do something correct, when we planned it all according to their own site. I will not use their services in the future, as this company complicated everything and gave no reason, and no apology, and we still don't have the award, which we paid a premium for expecting good service and our reasonable deadline met.
