I went to Ink102 for all my tattoos and piercings and so far this is a place I would recommend going. Its close by and the customer services is great they are very patient with you and will give you very clear instructions on how to take care of your piercing and tattoos. so far while following all instructions everything has healed perfectly fine and I will be going back again for more. read more

This review is solely on the one artist that I must say did a good job covering up/adding on to an tattoo I received from another artist that I wasn't happy with. I contacted a particular artist at this location after visiting the shop and reviewing the profiles of each artist on Instagram. I blame myself because red flag number one was when I reached out to the artist he didn't respond until like two weeks later as I had decided to go with another artist located in Conyers. So I decided to go with the artist here. He explained to me the deposit requirement which was $50 dollars and the cost of what I wanted which would be a total of $800. Yes $800. (Disclaimer: I do not mind paying for something that is worth the quality). The artist explained that it would take two days to complete. Cool. I go to the first session and pay the first half. As he did the outline of the tattoo. Second day come in and he finish the lining and coloring of one part of the tattoo. The artist told me he needs another day to finish because he has another client at 5pm. I explained to the artist that I'm very big on time and communication. He understood and we booked the third session at no additional cost. Silly me not thinking because I want to give someone the benefit of honoring their word, I paid him the remaining and final $400 of the $800 he charged. (Remember Tattoo is not completed). I contacted the artist the day before our schedule appointment to finish. NO RESPONSE. I left messages voice and text. NO RESPONSE. The artist finally responding via text to let me know he had an emergency with a toothache and he will contact me to reschedule again. (Yeah) Ok cool at this point I'm human I know life happens. I reached out again the day before the second reschedule appointment to make sure we were good. The artist did reply and stated yes. Cool. I took off work and was very excited to finally get this tattoo completed. The day of the appointment (You probably already know what happed) but a NO SHOW on the artist part. Absolutely nothing. I reached out AGAIN numerous times. Went to the shop ask was he there, has anyone seen him as I had an appointment. Answer is no. At this point I wasn't mad just very disappointed. I reached out to the artist for about three to four days and NOTHING. (I have text messages and call log to prove) Maybe the sixth day I get a message from the artist stating his phone was malfunctioning and he just got it repaired at Apple..... (ummm ok) He also said he could book/finish me Thursday. I replied cool please let me know if anything changes. As I begun thinking I was like why are you the one reaching out to him to confirm business for him. You are the customer. I knew then (gut feeling) I was going to have to file a law suit and dispute payment from my bank because he wasn't going to show. As I began the process of that. I just reached out to him the day of the third rescheduled appointment stating good morning I just want to make sure we are still on track for noon. Yep You guessed it! NO RESPONSE . (Over it at this point and just faced the fact I was played/robbed.) However; I will admit the work (Outlining) he did with starting to transform my first unhappy tattoo he did really good. His professionalism turned into an unbelievable nightmare especially after silly me paid him in full for an Incomplete job. I am thankful that my father is a judge and can help me anyway possible with restitution. The reason I'm reviewing this is because I thought; What about the future innocent trusting customers that he may do this too who is not fortunate to retrieve their money back. It sadness me to know I will become an individual to think twice about doing business with my own. Like the saying goes one bad apple ruins the whole bunch. If you do decide to go here please do not pay until your work is completed. I don't care if it take five days to complete. Only pay for what you received. PAY WITH YOUR BANK CARD for a paper trail. Thank God the lining is complete and I will be getting half of my funds back as he did complete the first half of the job. I can find someone to do the coloring because it could've been worst. I had to review this because most people as myself don't have $20 to throw away yet along $800. I'm a firm believer in you reap what you sew so I don't have to go off or go up to the shop and act a fool etc because I can't make him finish the work. (Intellect over emotions) You live and you learn. Everyone isn't you. Meaning because you wouldn't operate or rob anyone doesn't mean the next person wouldn't. Communication and respecting people time that is in support of you goes a long way. I really hope this review prevents anyone else from getting "robbed" by this one particular artist because it's nothing "Trill" about the way he handled this. read more

I got art done by Tommie. At first, he was responsive and professional, then when it was time to do my 2nd session, he became unresponsive and inconsiderate. I reached out to him about a cover up, he gave me a solid price of $180, then when I mentioned I wanted to add red to my design, he changed the price to $250. Okay, reasonable. So I book the date, pay the $50 deposit and show up on the date of the session, which was my birthday. The morning of, he tells me to come in at 2pm as opposed to 12pm, but I mention it's my birthday and I have other plans. He assured me that t wouldn't take long. Ok, cool. So I show up, he does the outline but no red. I ask about the red and he said it would take a minute to complete and I'd have to come back. When it's time to pay the rest, NOT THINKING ANYTHING OF IT, I send the remaining $200. He says let him know when I want to come in for the second session. I hit him up several times, and it's hard to book Bc he's busy. So we finally coordinate another date, but when it gets closer to the date, I confirm the details because my initial appointment, he changed the time so I wanted to make sure all was well. No response. Thinkin back, I should've just went in. I messaged him and questioned why he didn't reply, no response. At this point I hit him up again and again, but he picks and chooses when to respond. He finally responds one day saying to come in on a certain date and if he doesn't respond, just pull up. So I do. I asked him about a piercing the day of my appointment because my cousin was inquiring about getting one while I got my tat. I show up to the shop, he's MIA. I ask his friends where he is, they act stupid like they don't know. I message and call him. No response. I show up to the shop two other times and allegedly "no one has seen him" and at this point I'm irritated bc I've wasted gas and money and time tryna get to him. I end up texted his phone and he says he's busy and has other things going on, but that has nothing to do with me. I'm understanding anyways, but he barely responds to my message like always. So he ends up saying it was HIS idea to add the red and he was doing me a favor and everyone I got done was paid for. Incorrect. I send screenshots of proof from our messages when I mentioned the red and him changing the initial price. NO RESPONSE!!!!!!!! I end up requested my money back on Cashapp, as he declined it within 5 mins. Yet I can't get a text. What's so sad is that he was super cool individual, talented artist, but had poor customer service. I had three friends I referred him to, but after I told them what happened, they chose to go with another artist and unfollowed him. I've been spreading the word Bc this is actually wrong. This is a business world and if you're going to not fully fulfil your promise to finish my service, then I'm going to let my peers know so this doesn't happen to them. I don't support people who do business like this, and I don't want anyone else supporting either. I've spoke with two other ppl who have had the same problem with the same artist. It's sad. It's pathetic. And it sucks because again, he's very talented. But I need everyone to be aware of this so that you can avoid this. And another thing, never assume or pay for anything that isn't COMPLETELY DONE. I hate I did that, and now I wasted my money because of it. Smh read more

I went here to get my nipples pierced. Now be aware this is my second time getting my nipples pierced and no matter how many times you pierce it, it will always be painful. He made me feel comfortable with the pain, but there are somethings that I didn't like which made me really disappointed because I thought the piercer was actually a cool person. For starters I told him that the bar was too small for my nipples. Anyone can see that I fall on the spectrum of the bigger sized nipples so that means I will not be able to use the standard size barbell. Not only are my nipples bigger than most, but I am also a DD in bra size so my boobs fall on the spectrum of bigger size boobs. Now after I told him I think I need a bigger size barbell he told me no(because you know, nobody likes for you to question their expertise). So he continued to put the smallest size barbell for nipple piercings, about a week later the balls on the end of the barbell started to push into my piercing hole making the hole bigger than what I originally started with. His customer service wasn't up to par because every time I would text him he would give me slow replies, or sometimes never reply. I was in so much pain that I was miserable, I felt sick and I barely could function. So I finally went back to the shop to change the barbell and he changed it to the next size up and I asked him if he think this size is okay, and do he think it would slide into the hole again. He said no but then a week later the ball kept sliding into the hole once again stretching the piercing hole. I couldn't even schedule a time to come in and fix it he wouldn't reply to messages or anything. I eventually ended up going to another piercer to change it and he change it to rings instead of the bar because the balls wouldn't apply pressure to the hole and he told me that he pierced it too close to my areola especially because my nipples are bigger. I eventually ended up with scar tissue and I'm just so irritated with the service I was provided with. read more

My complaint about this place is just about business not performance. The hours listed on the door says they open at 11 am, went to see about getting work done and they were open, just not one working artist was there, not one! I got there after 1:30 but just a piercer was there. How do you do business like that, if you open at 11, have at least 1 artist there that can do walk- in work or at least someone who can advice other than, "someone will be in within a couple hours...." disappointed... read more

This place has unlicensed tattoo artists an his name is London. I went to get a tattoo from him an I didn't see his license hanging anywhere so I left. I would advice if anybody goes here don't use them bc they are very unprofessional to. read more
