I came here in October 2022 and January 2023. All of my three tattoos have been done at Timeless. I got my first one, a group of three small butterflies on my left rib, from Morgan. The two tattoos pictured were done by Marcel. I was a first timer when I came in October and my friends did walk-in on a Saturday. We did not have an unreasonably long wait. Morgan stayed until the shop closed to finish me and my friends. He did all 3 of ours! Marcel was also very careful and made sure I was okay with the placement, size, and design of my tattoos. He also kept asking if I was comfortable. Thankfully, I was blessed with a strong pain tolerance so I held it together. I'm so happy with how everything turned out and I am so excited to come back from my next tattoos: a Milk and Honey inspired jar from Rupi Kaur, my zodiac sign, and a Chinese heritage inspired design. read more

I went there about 1.5 weeks ago to get a tattoo done on my forearm area. Kristin did my tattoo and I had made an appointment with her. I had told her over email what I was looking for, and when I got there she had drawn up the design exactly how i described it! The tattoo took about an hour to do and the whole time she was talking to me and made me feel very comfortable. My tattoo came out great and I love it! I have gotten two tattoos done here, my most recent one done by Kristen. The shop is so clean: you can see the artists opening sterile equipment, there were single use covers on the tattooing "beds," and it even smelled a touch like Lysol :) Kristen did an AMAZING job creating a piece from my reference pictures. She adjusted the style when asked and was incredibly patient with me as adjustments were made. On top of that, while doing the tattoo, she kept checking in with me and offered breaks. She was professional and friendly, willing to chat but not at all overbearing. Also, this was the least painful tattoo I have gotten. She was so meticulous and gentle, the appointment flew by. Overall, customer service was phenomenal, pricing was reasonable (I'd rather pay more for a quality piece), and the piece turned out beautifully! Got a tattoo here from Di Quartel, and I can highly recommend her services specifically and the overall Timeless Tattoo shop as a whole. In looking around for tattoos I found myself regularly seeing tattoo artists advertise limited booking windows with long wait lists, but when I reached out to Timeless on a Tuesday, they got back to me promptly that day, and had me booked for an appointment the following Monday. I imagine this kind of thing is contingent on seasonal demand, but after seeing so many "my bookings open on X date" tattoo artists it felt refreshing to get such prompt and courteous service. Rates are very reasonable; like most tattoo places I've ever been, you put a deposit down ($100, in this case), which applies to the final cost of your tattoo. I came in with a very specific tattoo idea in mind that I'd been debating for years, and within an hour Di figured out a perfect iteration of the design to fit the specific part of my arm/shoulder where the tattoo was to to be placed. Di was a great conversationalist and a consummate pro. For those working with black ink-only tattoos, as was the case with me, Di does such good work with shading in black inks, such that the black-and-white image that was being re-created with the tattoo has a lot more vibrancy than just a line drawing of the image itself. When it comes to tattoos, if I feel motivated to get one I think about having it for a long time -- I take some self-convincing. But by the time Di had finished, I knew what she did was worth the waiting and convincing. It's icing on the cake that this is a legendary tattoo joint in Atlanta, the oldest in town. He asked a few questions to figure out what we wanted and they both came out so clean. Couldn't have asked for anything better. My mom, my cousin and I went here for matching tattoos. I recommend making an appointment. Lil'D and Andrew were great. Andrew talked the entire time to make us feel comfortable. They were patient and professional. We each got two tattoos. We initially were concerned about their ability to work on darker skin (as we didn't see darker skin in their books) but as you can see in the photos, we were in great hands. Also while I didn't get her name, the lady in the front provided us with great customer service. Her ability to resolve a conflict was amazing. For all of these reasons, they get 5 stars. By far one of the most seamless, professional, and memorable tattoo experiences that I've ever had. I called a few days before going in and was advised by the nice receptionist to come in EARLY on Saturday morning after I explained to her that myself & my sisters were looking to all get the same initials tattoo. We followed that advice and showed up to the shop at noon when they opened. In a matter for 20 minutes we were greeted, we met with Andrew our artist, our tattoo was sketched out, and we were in the chair waiting to be inked. Andrew was so polite and patient with us, all equipment were packaged & hygienic. With this being a sentimental tattoo he was very accommodating and made us feel comfortable. This was one of the best & efficient experiences I've ever had in a tattoo shop and although our tattoos were simple... they came out perfect thanks to the artist. Was really looking forward to being tattooed by one of their artists. Not going to name names... Ended up with Covid the day I was supposed to get tattooed. Not only did they deny me any assistance on my deposit. They went as far as to make an instagram post about cancelations. The artists look like they do good work. My experience at Timeless Tattoo was good! I had an overall good time and liked the artist, Di. I went in for a consultation on a Saturday and was able to get tattooed on the Monday right after, which was great, especially with how busy everything is with COVID restrictions getting lifted and what not. Di was super awesome to work with, and did a great job with what I described. I love the colors on the flowers and the gradient on the wing is beautiful! The only negative I have for Timeless Tattoo, is that it is a copy of a tattoo that is on a pop singer. That doesn't take away from how beautiful the tattoo is, its very very beautiful! I paid $300 for a full color, beautiful tattoo, which is pretty good for the quality that I got! Overall, Timeless was clean, staffed with friendly people, and a 4/5. I don't take the time to post reviews unless I experienced terrible service OR phenomenal service. In this case, everyone at Timeless Tattoo were great. And I have to give a shoutout to my dude, Lil D. Long story short - I work as a consultant and come from a third generation Korean-family. Tattoos aren't necessarily prevalent in my corporate office (large Fortune 50 based out of Atlanta) and I know my dad isn't thrilled with the idea of tattoos (old school mentality). For me, though, tattoo's are a way of expressing myself and a way to remind me of special events or people. My first tattoo I got was an outline of the state border of GA with the word "HOME" enscribed before my first deployment ot Afghanistan. The ones I got from Lil D here at Timeless Tattoo were more meaningful. Unfortunately, my beautiful mother passed away on 11.24.2019 from a stroke/heart attack. My brother and I were very close to my mom. Thus, I chose to get a quote I read once from Abraham Lincoln: "All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel Mother." I got this quote enscribed on my left bicep (closest to my heart) by Lil D a few days after her funeral. Before Mother's Day several days ago, I wanted to get my mom's name in Korean calligraphy on top of the quote stated above. Korean calligraphy isn't the easiest to transcribe onto a tattoo. But Lil D killed it. I keep showing it off to everyone and I've gotten rave reviews. Even my dad approved of it. With these uncertain times, Timeless Tattoo was very acocmodating to my schedule and adhered to great social distancing practices. The guy up front even got on me about keeping my mask on (I have a bad habit of taking it off all the time). But I respect that he called me out on it. Overall, I know who I'm going for all my tattoos moving forward. I've even referred Lil D to others who have mentioned they wanted to get new tattoos. read more

I have to say that my experience yesterday was a complete 180 from the first visit. I felt welcome and the greeting and vibe felt genuinely warm. Steph was the one I spoke to twice in reference to my follow up appt. and she was very nice and accommodating. Dave was just as nice and talkative as he was the first time and he even added a touch of color on my tat at no extra charge. Updated review of Timeless Tattoo customer service / front desk. Just left TT and will not be going back. My first visit there was amazing, the front desk folks were nice and SERGIO is awesome. I am leaving a one star because I wanted to get another tattoo and the very unfriendly / unwelcoming bearded guy with glasses behind the counter was asking me so many questions about what kind of tattoo I wanted, I told him a paw print, but wasn't sure exactly how I wanted it designed. Then he asked how big, I told him. Next question was where? I told him. I understand these questions are asked to gauge how long you need to allot, but I was never grilled like that and made to feel like my "measly" tattoo was not worth their time. He first told me he wouldn't make an appt unless I knew exactly what I wanted, which is crazy because I would think if I knew I wanted a paw print, it would be ok to ask the tattoo artist at my appt. his opinion on the ideas I was waflling with - like adding a heart in the middle, or my puppy's name. I appreciate Sergio's advice when he did my last tattoo. The next thing this unhelpful jerk informed me was to just stop in as a walk-in and anyone could do it. Huh? I said I wanted to book with Sergio and it shouldn't matter how big or small my tattoo is, I should be able to book with that person. The final straw was when he told me my deposit was void because it was greater than 6 months old. I paid the deposit last spring, but I was previously told the deposits never expire. In any case I walked out and will try the tattoo artist my friend recommends. read more

Timeless Tattoo sure is Timeless...I was done in 5 minutes. For my first tattoo I decided to let Yelp steer me in the right direction and I couldn't have had a smoother or more easing experience. I came in with the "words" I wanted in mind and the artist I had, Rob, was able to perfect it to my liking. I was a nervous wreck upon entering the room, but Rob was good at making casual conversation with me to ease my fears and nerves. Oh la la. Very clean, sterile environment --- don't let the outside surroundings stop you from going in! They have been in business for 20 years now. The price was a bit steep but it was worth every penny. What a great experience - I had some very simple work done, but the quality is unrivaled. It healed perfectly, and the lines are bold and crisp, with absolutely no fading thus far.
