Normally, Blake recommends clients to come in about every 6 weeks to give time for healing and fading, but I was on a time crunch so he made accommodations for every ~3 weeks. Each session was enjoyable as Blake really tries to make each client feel comfortable. The pain was minimal, felt like a rubber band snapping on my skin. He also gives you stress balls to distract yourself, which really help. As for the results, my tattoo has faded significantly. I would say by at least 75%. Because the ink hasn't had enough time to break down due to the timeframe, it will continue fading over the next few months. I only had 2 months to get these treatments in and am fully aware that things like this take time! Blake was great at managing my expectations on this matter. Unfortunately, what happened afterward was anything but normal. The photos show the condition of my legs following the treatment. Two days later, I went to urgent care because the reaction was concerning enough that I felt I needed medical attention. I am also seeing a dermatologist in person, at my own expense, because after this experience I am not comfortable relying on the clinic that performed the treatment to evaluate the reaction. I need to see a dermatologist, not a nurse hired by the business or Telehealth. What has made this experience even more disappointing is how the clinic handled the situation afterward. I paid $1,200 for a package of three lower-leg sessions and only received ONE treatment. Obviously, after this reaction, I will not be returning for the remaining sessions. Yet they refunded me only $600--just 50% of what I paid. I was told that I had received a "great deal" and that the treatment was "still effective." I find that response astonishing considering I am now dealing with visible marks that may take a significant amount of time to fade, medical appointments, and restrictions on shaving or waxing the area. At an absolute minimum, I believe a full refund for the package would have been the appropriate response given what happened after the very first session. Even more concerning, the woman I spoke with on the phone suggested that the "underlying causes" of my reaction were worth discussing with a doctor because they could be related to my "lifestyle." I found that comment dismissive and inappropriate, particularly when the reaction occurred during and immediately following their treatment. I understand that adverse reactions can happen with cosmetic procedures. What matters is how a business responds when they do. In my case, I expected concern, accountability, and a reasonable resolution. Instead, I was left seeking medical care on my own while the business kept half of the money I paid for three treatments after I received only one. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location. Please be very careful when choosing where to have laser procedures performed, understand the risks beforehand, and consider having procedures with the potential for significant skin reactions performed under appropriate medical supervision.

Everyone at Removery was so friendly and they really put you at ease. Lynn is GREAT - she tells you the good and the not so good that could happen. She doesn't oversell the situation. Extremely Disappointing Experience…read more My husband and I scheduled appointments to reestablish care with Valley Oaks after our original provider, Dr. Shin, left the practice. We received confirmation texts showing my appointment at 11:00 a.m. and my husband's at 11:15 a.m. We arrived 15 minutes early, only to find out that my husband's appointment had been changed to 7:30 a.m. without any notification. I showed the staff our confirmation text, but was simply told it was "booked wrong" and that he would need to reschedule. There was no apology or accountability, despite us both taking the day off work. The clinic itself was also extremely disappointing. The facility was run-down and dirty, with visibly worn broken furniture, and dirty used water cups throughout the office. The overall condition of the office did not give us confidence in the quality of care. So maybe it was a sign. After this experience, we feel we're better off finding a different provider. Extremely disappointing from start to finish.
