I came here on the recommendation of Revenant Tattoo for a small tattoo removal on my left shoulder. Kendal at Clear Out was who did the fast and amazing job! With my tattoo being 37 years old, the ink was easy to remove. By the time I asked her how far along she was, she was done! Didn't take 5 minutes! Pretty much painless, but very quick! I planned on a cover up at Revenant, but the new tattoo would be bigger than I wanted because of the placement to cover the old tattoo. He said the best thing to do was have it erased, per se, and have a clean pallet to work with. So that's just what I did. As a right now it's a little puffy and tender but I'm confident in Kendal's saying it'll get worse for it gets better. Which I'm okay with. I'm in the middle of my progress of clearing out a tattoo on my back. So far it's been great. I had a lot of gray scale on my back. It's 17 years old and only have had 2 sessions on half of it and 1 on the other half of my tattoo and soooo much ink has come out that we will have to space out my appointments even longer. I walked into this place knowing absolutely nothing about tattoo removal. I have an entire sleeve of black and grey ink that I wanted lightened up but figured it was too big of a job to be done. It's been years of me denying how terrible it really looked. I called James about 10 in the morning and scheduled to meet him at 1. The woman at the front desk was super nice and easy to talk to! She gave me a form to fill out and James took me back as soon as I was finished. He's super professional and made me feel way more relaxed. You can tell he knows what he's doing and is also really laid back. He described to me the process and answered the million questions I had for him. We actually had a couple of mutual friends and he was just really easy to talk to overall. We ended up doing my first session right then and there, I wasn't planning on it but he had the time and I felt confident! Heard of this place through a friend. This was my 3rd place I checked out. After talking w April, I was set on having my chest tat removed by them. April is beyond amazing. She answered all my questions and gave me info on how the laser works. Not thinking I was going to have it done at that exact moment but she said she had an opening and I was scared but totally went for it. I'm so happy I did. The shading is completely gone. On a scale Of 1-10 for pain, I'd say 7 1/2-8 in certain areas. It goes by super quick and whole time April is asking if I need a break so she's not just torturing you the whole time. Unfortunately I had a bad experience here. The owner is very nice but the results are not good at all, the tattoo looks darker and I got a big scar from the removal. When I asked for before and after photos he had none to show me because he barely started doing tattoo removal and just opened up. That should of been a warning sign but I thought if give it a try :( Since then I have found a new clinic and after 1 treatment I saw big results. I have to say this was a pretty easy experience. I had a 15 year old tattoo that I needed removed. 4 sessions later it's just a shadow. A long time ago at a tattoo convention far away, I got myself an ugly tattoo. It was so bad that I had portions of it cut out (scarification) to try to at least make it interesting. But nope, I still had some black outlines left that just made it look more stupid. Finally, I decided to do something about it and have a consult to see about getting it removed. I called and James was able to take me in that day. After answering a few questions regarding how long I've had it, etc. he was able to give me a realistic expectation on how many sessions it would take. I told him I was ready and he busted out the laser right then. Meeting him that first time gave me such relief knowing I would actually be getting rid of the 'ugly' and each session felt like I was visiting a close friend. Not only did we have great conversations, he ensured my comfort came first. (Un)fortunately, his system worked 'cause there came the time I didn't have to go back as my lines were gone. And because it worked so well I was able to get tattooed over it without it being considered a cover up. If I ever have to get another tattoo removed I won't go anywhere else...James is as good as it gets. I have gone to see James Dean at Clear Out Ink twice (2610 W. Horizon Ridge Pkwy #100 Henderson, NV 89052). James was very nice, however, I saw zero results from either session. At my first session I was told that my tattoo would be completely gone within 4 treatments. After seeing zero results following the first treatment James told me that it would take 6-10 treatments for it to be removed. My husband and I took before and after photos of the tattoo and it is impossible to tell the difference between the two. I purchased a groupon which seemed to be a good deal at the time, however, it was a complete waste of money and pain. I repeatedly told James about my disappointment and he assured me that the "next" session would work. I have now gone to another tattoo removal service in las vegas and instantly saw results. I would not recommend Clear Out Ink to anyone. It is a waste of time, pain, and money. If you are looking for results I would strongly encourage you to go elsewhere. read more
