I wanted to share my laser tattoo removal experience with New Life New Image. First I will start off by mentioning I have had laser removal done on two different (11yr old) tattoos by another med spa that took 8 & 9 sessions to remove. I felt as if I needed to try a different/better machine for my more visible tattoos and reached out for a consultation/first session. The tattoo in question is a 3 year old tattoo on my forearm. (Photo attached is the tattoo after 3yrs on the left and 3 months after my first session on the right) I have had one session with them and given my results I am estimating 3-4 in total. New life new image is one of the only in Vegas with the Enlighten by Cutera machine. I am now going to them for an additional tattoo and plan to work on a few more once these two are gone. Visited this practice almost 3 years ago. I ended up going to another medspa since then because it was closer to my new house, but ended back here because I was able to schedule an appointment when the other one wasn't able to. So glad I came back here again because I got to meet Hannah (one of the aestheticians), who didn't work here before. She has great energy and is very knowledgeable in her field. I tried the Diamond Glow facial with her for the first time and I absolutely loved it. I used to work in skincare for a decade so that is a lot coming from me. I will be continuing the Diamond Glow on a monthly basis and only here. I appreciate that they offer more Alle program perks than any other medspa I've been to. Turns out that they are the Top-tier Allergan provider in town, which I didn't know before or maybe its a new accomplishment.... Either way that speaks volumes to me. Dr Chen is great. He does great work and definitely knows what he's doing but dang are they trying to sale this ez gel filler stuff. Really pushy even tho I didn't come in for filler Dr Chen was pointing out flaws in my face and saying Ez gel filler would fix it. That was disappointing but my Botox is great. I've been coming to this place for a few years now out of my lack of due diligence but after today I'm done. I come from out of town to this location only out of convenience and price. Now that prices continue to go up the unprofessionalism is past the point of palatable. Each and every time I've made an appointment here especially in the am (and received appt confirmation) I've come to a closed office. Absolutely nothing is worse especially for a medical service to come in at the same time as the staff and late at that, to watch them set up. Machines take awhile to warm up and it is just common courtesy to have your facility at least to and running w lights on before an appt. The saving grace has always been their estheticians which do turn over in staff but are always very sweet. Yes they're very young but they're also lovely people. Sadly each aesthetician is usually running front office, doing the procedure and also taking payment so they're clearly understaffed. Anyway this last time, the owner took the appointment then didn't show up for it and tried to make it seem like it was my misunderstanding on time despite the email confirmation of time. This was finally enough for me and I will just look for another spot that had a full staff and professional courtesy to keep their appointments and have the facility up and running during listed business times. Having a small business is a privilege not a right. Respect your craft and your clients or just stay closed all together. Again... this isn't the exception there it's the regular. If this happens to you and you're reading this... just move on. read more

I was injured when the incompetent Dr. Chen ruined my face, which is now permanently disfigured and needs correction surgery of $20,000+. They are nice people. But incompetent, and possibly fraudsters. A doctor with 1) same name, 2) in the same part of Vegas, and 3) similar age was FOUND LIABLE FOR FRAUD. The Las Vegas article "Las Vegas physician found liable of Medicare fraud" says a Dr. Chen stole over $1mm from Medicare fraud. I suggest you bring this article in to your next appointment and ask "please confirm this isn't the same doctor" before you give them a penny. If this guy was an anesthesiologist who committed a ton of fraud...would you trust him?? read more

In the 10 years I have been to various botox /filler providers in Las Vegas. I knew something was up, having experienced and/or witnessed a wide variety of questionable activities. The appt prior to meeting Dr. Chen was the final straw. No discussions about concerns, or desired results. Wham bam thank you man. I've never been in and out of an appt. so fast. Time is money? I did tell her I didn't feel most of the injections. (numbing cream, ice?) I feel it every shot, regardless. Her response? "I'm fast and I'm good" Spidey sense activated, I researched the industry which validated my suspicions. I read an article regarding black Market Botox and what to look for on the packaging so you can verify it's legit. That being said, I told a co-worker about my findings. She pulled me aside and made me swear I won't divulge her secret. She has been getting Botox for 10 years. Make no mistake, she looked great! AND natural, I had no clue. She gave me Dr. Chens info and I booked an appt. I was pleasently suprised. Without having voiced my concerns, prior to injections Dr. Chen handed me the sealed pkg, opens it in front of you, then when suringes are full, he hands you the bottle to verify you are getting what you paid for. All of it. And he does this every single time. This skeptic found the right place. Dr. Chen is legit, skilled, priced reasonably and REALLY does excellent work. Results look very natural and they last. Good for you investigating options. Note - the "I'm fast and I'm good" location? Positive reviews. There's a highly rated Dr. with very high ratings? Brutal. When I arrived for that appt. The receptionist yelled (literally) "it's a Groupon" Rude. Again, time is $. He hastily injected the full amount into my upper lip. I had a flashback to this miserable experience today when someone asked if I ever had filler. I was in Vegas and a friend mentioned this medical spa. I had botox once before and it wasn't painful at all. I went here and made the mistake of asking about filler. The doctor recommended Juvederm. The doctor barely spoke before starting injecting. It was nothing like my botox injections. I'm not sure if that has something to do with juvederm or it was the doctor. But that wasn't the bad part of my experience. I didn't think much about how much the injections hurt until later on when I realized the doctor made a bigger mistake. My eye was grey for months afterward and when I went to another doctor at home for help, the first thing she said was "juvederm should never be injected near your eye since it looks gray under the thin skin." My first visit was amazing. Dr. Chen was so kind and took his time. Did such a fantastic job. I had Botox. I referred 3 friends and my Daughter to him. But this time he seemed agitated something was off. He barely used ice on my face maybe for 1 second and was ruff and very fast. I was in a lot of pain I told him it hurt. I was in huge pain. The doctor has a horrible personality and doesn't seem to know what he's doing. I'm amazed there are good reviews. Maybe it depends on the day. If you go here - cross your fingers and pray since sometimes the doctor seems a bit out of it. He actually injured the person I was with (who was getting a minor procedure that should have been very simple), and when I jump back startled at the doctors mistake, he yelled at me "You should leave if you're going to be like that." Dr. Chen is very professional, knowledgable and thorough with your procedure. He's upfront with what you're getting and I really appreciate it. He let me open up the sealed Allergan Botox box and see him using it the entire vial. It's been a few weeks since I had the injection done and it turned out very nicely.
