My 11-year old has been putting off getting her ears pierced because of fear. She finally said she was ready this week, and we chose Ink Image because of a recommendation from a friend. Nicolle was so patient with my daughter - more patient than I was (I had to take some deep breaths!). She could tell that my daughter was struggling mentally with the idea of piercing, and she spoke beautifully, God-given words over her. Her calm presence and life-giving words helped both my daughter and me reframe. My daughter finally got up the guts to do it. The relief on her face after that second piercing said it all. So kind and patient and talked her through the whole process, step by step, taking the time to let her process everything and waited until she was ready to get started. Wow! My first impression of the shop, Clean. Very welcoming! I got tatted by Nicole. My appointment with her, I waited for almost two months. But, I can say it was worth the wait. One thing with me though, I don't walk into a tattoo shop with a photos or pictures from the book. I like mine custom and ideas the tattooer and myself. I like the fact that, talking to Nicole about her ideas, my ideas and having her run with it. My tattoo came out amazing! I will definitely be back to finish my other arm. This is a wonderful tattoo shop! Nicole is as professional as they come, and she is a businesswoman though and through. I've gotten several tattoos done by her, and she does amazing work exactly as I ask. She is very efficient, and very well priced. She is always busy so you will absolutely have to set up an appointment if you want a tattoo by her, but that just goes to show how much people in Abilene want to be tattooed by her. I've seen a lot of her work, and she is extremely proficient in a vast array of styles. For me, she has done all American Traditional, and she has done a fantastic job at it. I go to Nicole once a month. As far as the environment of the tattoo shop: Do not expect a foul mouthed tattoo shop with yelling at bad attitudes. Nicole is a devout Christian, and you will notice signs around her shop that ask you not to curse or take the lord's name in vein. While getting tattooed in here one time, a man came in cussing and she very kindly asked him to not use foul language in her shop. Now, I personally cuss like a sailor, but I am way more comfortable in her shop than most tattoo shops I have gone into. The whole shop is clean, wholesome, and extraordinarily welcoming. Definitely a good experience every time I go here. I have not been tattooed by Chris, who also works there, but I have seen his work and as far as I can tell it is exceptional. read more

My tattoo was a simple design, but the tattoo seemed rushed. I was told it would take 30 mins but it took about 5. The lines weren't defined and the ink bled causing the text to look blurry. I guess I was just unlucky because all the work I've seen done at this place looks great. read more
