To abuse customers during this very difficult time for all of us is incomprehensible and they did it multiple times. I would wait for 4 hours, clear my schedule, losing very precious income only to have them tell me at 7:00PM that they would not be there, that they ran out of time. They exaggerate what is wrong with your computer telling you it will take hours when it is a simple fix. "THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE'. They send what they call technicians out to you that have to "read the directions as to how to fix your computer" all the time using up the very expensive time you are paying for. Then the company argues with you and turns it around to gaslight you and tell you "it was your fault". We are all struggling enough right now but to have a company exploit you, lie to you and abuse you is not acceptable and I lost over $500 in my dealings with Karl's Technology and now I am out all that money and my computer my brand new lap top is "unfixable" and has been for the last 6 months that this has gone on. This company is an absolute SCAM. I had contacted them to get a reimage on an old work laptop…read more Shouldn't take more than 2-3 hours per the person I spoke to over the phone. The "technician" came to my house and fiddled around with my laptop for 2 hours before they concluded they didn't have the correct equipment and that they'd need to reschedule the following day. I was told I was going to STILL be billed for them to come out the first day and then I'd receive a whopping 10% off the next visit. Aurora tax is 8% so that's already joke and very insulting. They were planning on coming back out the following day and "magically" fix my computer that time, on top of still billing me for the additional days. Mind you it's $130 an hour and they purposefully drag their feet on minor issues to ensure you're paying more. Your money is better spent elsewhere. Everyone here is incredibly shady and your issue certainly will not get resolved on the first contact with them. You're better off just going to Geek Squad. Avoid this joke of a company like the plague. I am out $130 and my laptop is in no different condition than before I even wasted my time contacting these people. They won't even apologize to you for the trouble. Save yourself a headache, just go to Geek Squad. Or literally anywhere else. Complete ripoff.

I want to thank Art from Outreach PC Tech for helping me with my IT issues. During this coronavirus…read morepandemic, every dollar has to be spent very carefully. Thankfully, this company was a referral from a good friend and I was told that the prices are not only reasonably, but downright cheap for the quality of service. I had contacted the company several times regarding several issues over the past week. One was for one computer not being able to run a an Autodesk program for work. Another was for a fleet of computers that were needed to be bought for a work project. Art was the technician helping me remotely. He was very communicative, understanding and pleasant to talk to over the phone. He walked me through the process of installing a remote viewing software, and checked the system parameters without having to be present at my house over the quarantine. I already had a hunch that it was the video card that was causing the issues, but I am very glad that I had called a professional because Art found that most modern video cards would not be supported on this older computer. To make matters worse, the program that would not run required a newer "GL" version so most older video cards would not be supported either. Adding an extra problem was the fact that since this was done remotely, it was not difficult to physically inspect the computer to be sure if a newer card would be compatible with the computer! It turns out this ended up being important and Art was able to do a video chat with me on WhatsApp to guide me on taking the computer cover off and taking pictures of a few parts to send to him. The pictures showed that although space was not a problem, there was not enough power connectors from the power supply to get a potentially fitting video card in. Art said he would call me back when he finds a fitting alternative, and I was skeptical already as to whether he will be able to find the part because everyone else told me that I should just buy a new computer. I got sent a link in a few hours for a video card that was from a good brand, at a good price, did not need the extra power connectors, and most importantly met the minimum requirements for my Autodesk program. After ordering it took a few days to get shipped and another technician was promptly scheduled by Art to come over the next day. He switched the cards, installed the proper drivers, and voilah! everything works. A few days later at my work, we were planning on buying upgraded computers and monitors as well, and I had Art do a recommendation for an entire fleet of work computers to be put into the office. He went above and beyond in comparing the best prices from different websites, and had exact recommendations based of asking quite a number of questions regarding how and what we use on them. I feel that calling him and paying him for this alone saved us more money than if we were to do this ourselves. Art had mentioned that his company was only starting to get more calls from Google based on all the reviews, so I am posting this on several review sites to get them more business and to let other people know that they can advantage of computer services from this company while their prices are still low.
