I know someone who's tried Blink in the past and recommended them. When I found a living social deal for $59 to get the full set of lashes, I couldn't resist. I called to book an appointment, and it was a bit tricky since they close early on weekdays and I work. I was able to make a Saturday appointment just in time for the holidays. The staff was very helpful in providing instructions on how to prepare your eyes the day of the appointment. They have a strict cancellation policy so make sure you book a time you know you'll attend. The process itself takes an hour, so you have to be comfortable with keeping your eyes closed the entire time. It wasn't painful or uncomfortable. Though the girl working on me was very nice, I didn't like that she couldn't get the collagen pads on my lower lashes correctly so had to tape my lashes down. It really hurt when she pulled off the tape over that very sensitive skin. It felt very sensitive the rest of the day. The lashes look amazing though! Very long, luscious, and natural. Unfortunately, I don't think i'll make this a regular beauty routine because it is crazy expensive. The full set is $150 without the living social deal, refills are $55, and they only last about 2 weeks. I wish I could, but really can't.

When I went in for my appointment, I hardly had to wait at all. The woman who did my lash extensions was really nice and clearly explained what was going on since I was a lash extension newbie. She very gentle with my eyes, and the whole thing took about an hour. I loved the results!! My eyelashes looked completely natural, just a million times better! Next, I got my brows done. They were great, and she not only explained how she was doing them but also how I can fill in my brows on my own (I guess I am kinda clueless). BTW, this place is family owned (mom at the front desk, 2 daughters doing the eyes, and the daughter's husband working on the business stuff), and I loved the fact that I was supporting a very nice local family. I would come back here again and again!

I had booked appointments for myself and my 3-year-old daughter--a dry style and a kids blowout--because we had a mother/daughter beach photo session scheduled. Unfortunately, due to a poor weather forecast, our photos were rescheduled to the following day. I called to see if it would be possible to move our appointments to Monday, but was told the salon is closed. I then asked if we could switch to other services, like pedicures or waxing, since getting our hair done before a day of swimming (on Monday) would be a complete waste of time and money, not to mention unnecessary heat styling. I was told only hair stylists were available and no alternatives could be offered. I also asked if I could receive a credit for a future appointment and still be charged that day, but this request was denied as well. I understand and respect the need for cancellation policies. However, these were two concurrent 30-minute appointments, and the complete lack of flexibility--even for a long-time, loyal client--was disappointing. I was told there were no exceptions and that I would be charged in full. As someone who has frequented this business for a decade, I would have hoped that loyalty might carry some weight. It feels short-sighted to risk losing a long-standing customer over two 30-minute services. Unfortunately, this experience has changed my perception, and I won't be returning to Cloud 10 in the future.

I've never left a review but felt this should be put out there for anyone wanting their brows waxed through them. It's not just a small area, it's her entire brow and area between her eyes.
