So I did a lot of research before deciding who to go with to get my eyebrows microbladed. I reached out to Yura to schedule a 24 hour patch test. I am someone who lives with anxiety and really wanted peace of mind that I would not have a reaction. Yura was so funny, reassuring, patient, comforting and professional. She took the time to answer all of my questions and for me this was important. I absolutely love how my eyebrows turned out. I previously had lots of hairless spots on my eyebrows and now I feel good waking up in the morning and seeing symmetry on my eyebrows. I brag about my eyebrows to my husband every morning and I love not having to fill them in every day. After much research, I'm so glad I got my brows done through Yura. Her prices are reasonable compared to other places I found and most importantly, my eyebrows look amazing! She's very meticulous, spends a majority of your session mapping out your new brows and making sure your happy with the results before the actual procedure. In the end, she was able to sculpt new brows that were close to my natural shape, but better! It isn't until your touch up appointment that you're able to see the true results. I feel so much more confident going out and about, because my eyebrows are perfect. I don't have to spend that extra 15-20 minutes each day trying to draw in my brows and make sure they are even. What a hassle that was!It's definitely a timesaver. I made the mistake of over plucking my eyebrows over the years, to the point where it was very difficult to grow them back. Microblading changed my life! My only regret is I wished I had done them sooner. I also want to add that I have a very low pain tolerance. I get extremely nervous and anxious at the thought of a blade to the face. However, Yura makes sure to apply numbing cream before and during if needed. Pain was tolerable, albeit some discomfort, but it's a short procedure and the results were absolutely worth it! As someone said in another review, "Beauty is pain!". It helps also that Yura is very personable and easy to talk to. Her personality makes the experience less painful. Lol. Yura and her work are truly amazing! I had naturally crooked eyebrows, we then figured out my bone structure was off as well (oi vey! I was a hot mess) but Yura diligently worked her magic and I now have beautifully even brows now. She spent lots of time perfecting the shape to make sure they came out even and they totally did. Yura makes you feel very comfortable and is a true perfectionist. All the tools she uses are 'one time only' usage tools that are all pre packaged & sanitized. People underestimate the importance of well-shaped eyebrows. God created eyebrows to frame His masterpiece of our face! He also gave us the creative freedom to define and enhance this frame. As a recovering "ex meth addict," let's just say that I had a bad experience with a pookie, a pair of tweezers, and a 20X Magnified Mirror when I was young. Needless to say, my eyebrows never grew back the same. I still have to pluck plenty of hair above the brow line and beneath on my eyelid, but before I came to Yura, I was completely bald where the hair should be. Yura is not only an amazing artist, but a kind, down to earth woman with an anointed talent for contributing to the redemption of human error. Yura did an amazing job on my eyebrows! She was so accommodating to my schedule. Yura made sure that my friend sit in and watch. Yura made sure that my friend and I both approved of the shape before microblading and that I was comfortable throughout the process. Had my followup visit on Saturday, it went so fast. I healed really good and a few spots needed filling. All was done 1/2 hour at most, 15 minutes was for numbing. Loved Yura's company, felt very much at ease and didn't need my daughters assistance. Today is itchy day so hoping the healing time is faster. I just had my eyebrows microbladed and am beyond happy with the results! I had hair stroke eyebrow tattooing done in the past. I was happy with those but these are so much nicer! The look is super natural and I love the shape. Yura is hilarious and easy to talk to. She is honest about the process - including the pain level. Very helpful when you're going in for a procedure like this. Pain was bearable but it did hurt. The numbing cream definitely helped. Another thing that I was very impressed with - Yura asked if I wanted microblading or microshading. The latter would have been an extra $50 and I was totally open to it. She suggested I do microblading this time and that I could add the shading during my touch up appointment. I LOVE that she didn't push for the higher cost treatment. You can tell her priority is to make sure her clients are happy with the outcome. I may add shading but I like that I'll have time to decide if I want them more filled in or not. Thank you Yura! Got my brows done about 4 weeks ago and I love them! It really did not hurt as much as I was afraid it would..She made sure they were pretty numb before she started. I love my brows! I found the process to be pretty darn painful but in the end it is well worth it. Yura shaped my brows perfectly. I am now able to maintain the shape and my brows always look like I just got them done!
