I mean, anyone who knows Soups knows that she doesn't need a yelp review because (1) she's already too busy for her own good and (2) her existing customers (i.e., me) don't want to fight with new customers to get an appointment (THIS WOMAN IS ALWAYS BUSY). But, I would be doing her a disservice if I didn't write a review. I mean, it's been over a year since she's been doing my lashes. Soups is the best eyelash artist in Las Vegas - I've been to quite a few and most people will tell you a bunch of BS as to why your extensions fall out and stuff, but not Soups. First, she's brutally honest (so you better have some thick skin) and second, her lashes last longer than any other place I've been to. I always thought it was the way my eyelashes grew out BUT NOPE. It was just shitty work by other people. Now, I don't have to feel like a peasant at 2 weeks bc all my extensions fell out. Small intimate lash studio that exceeded my expectations. The owner, "Soups" is dynamic, bubbly & a fountain of knowledge.... who knew lashes shed cyclically which plays an important part in how lashes are applied! My first visit was yesterday & Soups was able to remove the improperly applied lashes (by another "tech") and apply a full set that look & feel natural. First time for lash extensions and I am in Love, Love, Love. Soups is wonderful. She took the time to get to know me by asking questions and did what she thought worked best for me. I am absolutely thrilled. Her shop is beautiful and you can tell she really loves what she does. I hardly know that they are on and it's wonderful. I was scared to wash them and brush them as first fearful that i would make them all fall out, but that is totally not the case. Lori even offered me a beverage and a snack while I waited due to the fact I was early. After searching for an experienced lash artist I finally found one. A referral from a friend who's lashes looked amazing. She told me about Soups and that she guaranteed her work. I've been getting lashes for years now and have never had anyone that guaranteed their work. So I thought she must be good?!?! I got my first full set after she had to remove my old lashes. Which I had a lot of gaps and lash damage from previous lash places. I was worried they wouldn't look as full as I wanted because I had so much damage, I barely had lashes to attach extensions to. But they were nice and full and looked amazing!! The sad part is they started shedding the next day. I called Soups she guaranteed her work!! She said it was possible the adhesive didn't take due to removal she got me in immediately and did an amazing touch up. She wouldn't even an accept a tip. The best! I had been wanting lashes for two years now. I was always asking people who had great lashes who they went to. I noticed a trend that most of my coworkers went to Soups. I did do my fair share of research, bc I'm OCD like that,and decided to go with Soups based on how long all my coworkers have been going to her and how their lashes looked. They never had a bad thing to say about her. After going to my first appointment and telling her I wanted a specific coworkers look, on the natural end, I wasn't initially sure if I liked them. The work itself was great! I got tons of compliments on the actual lashes, but I just wasn't sure if they were "me." I asked her if I could just remove them bc I felt like they were too much. Her response was so kind. She said she guarantees all of her work and she knows she can make me happy if I allowed her the time or she would happily remove them at no charge. She ended up coming in on her only day off just to make me happy. She took the time to set up every option size and length. She even went so far as to google the strip lashes I wear to really get a good idea of how natural I like. I was nervous that maybe I am just not a lash girl and that I would be wasting her time again and still wanting them removed. After she new set of lashes she finished and said "I hope you can see them" and that immediately put me at ease. I told her too natural would be way better than too obvious. They are perfect! The people who know me say they fit me much better than the original set. Again, the first set was great, just not me. Overall Soups takes great pride in her work. I knew having gotten hair done and fixed before this could've gone two ways, she'll fix it and berate me the entire time about how I could've been more specific(that's happened many times before) or she would just really want to make me happy(rarely is that the case). I'm so glad she was so kind and explained why the first set didn't work for me and how eye shapes are all so different.
